I really did like how Lois is very remorseful on what she did the last last episode and rightfully Jimmy calling her out that she's kind of acting like her dad a little bit that's what a true friend does
also like her father, she is trying to give the unfamiliar kryptonian a chance to understand them.
I knew that Jimmy would be out of money. At least he didn’t waste it.
partly jimmy losing his money, is giving his character a redemption arc for him within this season. showing us how much effort he's putting in to save his best friend.

This is my favorite animated rendition of Superman, it makes him relevant new and fresh but also relatable. 😎👍🏾
oh don't say the word relatable and superman in the same sentence. superman fans would riot the fact that you stated superman is relatable. their comment would be like, "HE'S not SUPPOSE to be RELATABLE, he's SUPPOSE to be an INSPIRATION." even though, superman can be an inspiration and relatable.

Waller's such a flexible villan. Stick her in Batman's story she'll create Batman Beyond. Add to Harley Quuine's she's the reason for Task Force X. Give her to a Superman She collide with that plot too.

It would be very heart breaking for this show in particular if the season finale is Clark gets brainwashed by Braniac like how Darksied did him in the animated series and Superman attacks earth inadvertently proving all of Amanda Wallers xenophobia about the kryptonian correct.
That’s what I’m predicting anyway.
Supergirl may have to stop him before that point but who knows.
I can see that being the case.
My guess is that after defeating Brainiac, Kara will help her cousin's reputation by revealing to the general public that the Kryptonian Empire technically died years ago and Superman *wasn't* sent to conquer Earth. This could cut any public support for the HDC/Task Force X, but knowing Waller and Lex, they and their allies will keep doing shady shit...
I'm not sure Superman will make it out of brainac's ship before Kara, lois and Jimmy catch up to him.
I don't see his reputation surviving a brainwashing invasion this early into his career.
Timm's Superman had years of service before he got brainwashed, which allowed the public to give him the benefit of the doubt.
Maws Superman hasn't had the time nor opportunity to build such a reputation.
I hope that’s not the case, not that I hate the idea but that sort of thing makes me sad and I don’t like being sad like that :( although if they do then hopefully they’ll also take the breakup between Lex and Walkers partnership in a similar manner cause sting bad guy Lex getting comeuppance is always great to see.

If I'm being honest I would have love it if Live Wire was how she looks like in the comic books and even in the other animated shows, whenever she uses her powers.
But I do like Jimmy in this episode where he's basically saying you can't put a price on friendship. Although I will say that I'm actually looking forward to seeing Brainiac take control of these drones that Waller is commissioning Luther to build where it blows up in her face like an acme Dynamite Kit.
The most concerning part about this episode is that Livewire now knows Supermans name because of the ear pieces they have, which Livewire says that she heard everything. I don't think the identity thing will be a problem because Livewire is mostly a professional merc and unless paid won't bother giving that information.

I honestly wasn't expecting livewires speech about "love not being for cowards" to hit so hard towards the end tho I gotta say given how her crew stole some tech including parasites old suit which was suprising I just know that whoever puts it on is in for a rude awakening when the thing is looking for energy to sap off of but ends up draining them and with no superman to rip it off like in season one

I love that the villains aren’t like Batman’s edgy edgy mc edgies they have standards and that is what makes them great and lovable !

This episode, while not as good as the previous, is a good episode. Superman isn't even in this episode beyond his image being used and him being mentioned. Of course, Amanda Waller takes advantage of the situation to tarnish Superman's good name and use her human defense Corp to take over Metropolis. As if I needed more of a reason to hate Amanda Waller. Fortunately, I don't think that the people of Metropolis buy her propaganda against Superman. Unfortunately, when someone tries to discredit her claim, Amanda dismissed it and silenced those who disagree with her. Lois is obviously still dealing with the break-up that she caused. She's determined to do whatever it takes to make things right with Clark, even if it means teaming up with Livewire to steal a spaceship from S.T.A.R labs. Of course, Jimmy has to be the one to pay her. I was bit surprised that he used up all of his remaining money to hire Livewire, but it shows what he's willing to do for his best friend. You even see that Jimmy does live by what Superman stands for. It's both surprising and unsurprising that Livewire and Heat Wave are a couple. Nice to see Mallah and the Brain return to help. It is such a shame that all the planning doesn't go according to plan. The part I didn't like but is still good for Lois' character development is how she feels about Kara. Lois just is angry at Kara to the point that she's willing to use kryptonite against her. If only she knew that Clark and Kara bonded. Jimmy was right about the situation with Kara not being so simple, and it makes sense since he actually spent time to get to know her. Lois doesn't really know anything about Kara, and Jimmy called Lois out on behaving just like Sam did with Superman. Lois just saw Kara as the enemy without really knowing her, just like Sam did with Superman during season 1. Interestingly enough, just as Sam was willing to at least try to see Superman's humanity, Lois was willing to at least try to give Kara a chance, even if it takes some convincing from Jimmy. It's understandable why Lois is just lashing out at Kara when she's still hurting from her last conversation with Clark, but we the audience know that Clark wouldn't be happy if Lois used kryptonite against his cousin. It's also weird to see Livewire give Lois love advice, but Livewire and Heat Wave make a nice couple. Apparently she overhead what Lois said and seems to know about Lois having feelings for Superman. Hopefully, Livewire didn't hear the parts about Clark. The tension of this episode is lessened because we know Lois, Jimmy, Mallah, and the Brain make it into space, but it's still nice to see how they got there. We also see more of Deathstroke's rivalry with not only Livewire, but with Lex Luthor. Amanda Waller seems to be favoring Lex over Slade. Now Lois is aware of Jimmy having feelings for Kara, and the episode ends the same way as the previous one, with Lois and Jimmy finding Kara. I really hope that they can put aside their differences to save Superman.
i don't think it's weird that livewire helping lois with her romantic problems. Livewire kept on hearing about lois's woe is me with romance, so she wants her to snap out of it. it also shows that even though livewire and heatwave are career criminals, they still have a heart. which, it gives them more dimensions to their characters. wasn't the one criticism of season 1 that the villains didn't have any dimensions to them? the point of the relationship with livewire and heatwave is to reflect clark's and lois's romantic relationship. in that livewire's personality is kinda like lois's and heatwave's personality is like clark's. in that case livewire is the more "mature" version of what lois could be - besides the career criminal element. which i mean the fact that lois and jimmy stole something, from a fascist government, would make them criminals.

I enjoyed this episode. It bridged the gap between what occured at the end of Episode 6 while bringing back memorable Season 1 characters and putting a resplution to the running gag of Jimmy's income being bled dry.
This is just me saying this. But except for the show creating a genderband version of Heat Wave, it would of been more better to introduce Volcana in this instead since she's Superman's only fire theme villain. And her being in a relationship with Livewire would make sense since the two of them originated from Superman: The Animated Series as original characters.
Just saying, that'd make better sense to me.

Mr. Caped Joel, I am confused by what Lex Luthor told Slade after Waller called it a success. 🤔 He said something like “It’s as you told Lane: ‘Mommy doesn’t need you anymore.’” By “Lane,” did he mean Gen. Sam Lane instead of Lois Lane? When did Slade say that? If it was before Lex Luthor arrived to stop Dr. Ivo, then how would Lex have known that Slade said that to him? 😮
I believe he said it during the fight in episode four when they ambushed the general Lane.

OK I'm saying this because I absolutely love this episode but it's the truth for so many reasons why I have to make this joke this is the gayest episode it is so good because of it! And don't mean just because it actually has canonically two gay couples in the actual episode I'm talking about as in like gay as in happy but it also doubles with the double entendre!

I enjoyed this episode but its really just the B plot from last week's episode extended into its own episode. These two episodes would have been better if they were edited into a 1 hour mid-season finale.

I’m kind of surprised that the US military isn’t like immediately down Waller’s throat, because this is early in her career BTW, she really doesn’t have the right to do half of this stuff she’s doing. Also, it’s gonna be very weird having Superman come back just for him to be hunted down like a dog. I still don’t understand why terrorizing civilians accomplish or have to do with aliens or Superman, when 90% of disasters was because of Superman and Amanda Waller’s villains
Now Waller did say she works for Checkmate. So I imagine they are building to reveal who they really are/ what they want in this universe.
why is it wired to have superman fight against the US government? in the first season this happened to clark, so it's not a new thing that clark has to deal with. the point of the superman hate, is a scapegoat for waller to enact her fascistic desires. which is to control the public and using her hateful propaganda of superman/aliens as a justification to control/ terrorize the citizens. it's justification to control the population and to kill superman - if he ever comes back.
Maybe because she is apart of the US Government, and therefore has FULL authority to do whatever the hell she wants without oversight from said military?
Waller can just easily pin the blame on Superman as the real cause of the attack, like say, spinning fake news?

That one talk show actually had video proof that Superman was protecting Metropolis and Waller just pulls it off the air and arrests the host! Now all of Metropolis is aware of this, thanks to that interview. Honestly, I'm surprised the writers found a way to avert that obvious truth reveal.
This episode is defintly a nice change of focus, reintroducing more season 1 characters and old villaina too is real nice

When i read tbe synopsis, i expected the Intergang to the mercemaries to come and assist them though Livewire and Heat wave were a surprise and a pleasent one
One thing that has me questioning though is, Rory only has her two members of her gang still... will we ever know what haplened to the rest, i remember they had a previous driver

I enjoy this show, but i am kind of getting tired of Deathstroke being low balled to make characters (Not Lex) who arent on his level appear better or have the spot light.
I mean technically speaking he isn't even really Deathstroke yet (I don't event think they have said the name). He's still just special agent Slade Wilson. He lost his eye but still not super serum, just a battle suit sometimes makes him tougher. If I had to guess he's gonna have a falling out with Waller and become Deathstroke later one.
It's a slow character build up, we get Slade episode soon
Yeah Slade in season 1 was an overconfident Mercenary who almost always won his fights whilst even keeping a bold persona
But after he got zapped in the eye by Leslie because his batons got stuck it caused a deep hole in jis pride as hw lost an eye for that, now here he got late when Ivo broke out so Lex had to save Amanda, tveb he fails to capture Sam losing him and now he allowed Lois, Jimmy and their allies escape with the rocket and Lezx once again is praised gor his work
I feel like they're building up to having Waller ditch Slade in favor of Luthor
Be patient. He will eventually become the Slade we all know and hate

why was this episode meh? this is probably one of the strongest episode of the season.
It just didn't really do anything for me also they let the criminals get away remember there still bad guys
@@Nexion3653 even though the criminals are still bad guys, what were our protagonists suppose to do. by the time they got away, our protagonist had other important goals they needed to do. they were in a space ship trying to get off earth to rescue clark. at no point did the protagonists have time to hold the criminals accountable for their actions. at the same time those same criminals were helping them in escaping and helping lois over come her insecurities. at no point did lois and jimmy have the time to say, "hey u still bad guys tho." at the same time, those criminals were getting back at waller, who is a fascist. in this moment it's not really that bad. lets say Jimmy, Lois, Mallah and Brain stated we don't want your help because you are criminals. those criminals would have left them there, and our protagonists would have been captured or killed. lets say our protagonist fought with liverwire and heatwave near the end of the episode, because in your mind they are still criminals, waller would have come in to shut this entire operation down and destroy the ship that our protagonists needed to save clark.
