You can bolt weight easily to that thing on the sides where the cut-outs are on the wings of the driver station. A couple large bolts and washers from Home Depot and hang some tractor suitcase weights on the outside and you can add 140-280lbs to the back of that baby! I had to drill holes in mine to run the bolts through.
I just bought one and think it’s a good purchase at least for me. I sold my farm but wanted a mini machine to pull my timber talon log trailer and it is the ting in my yang… loader on tracks pulling a backhoe on a wheeled dump trailer. I need to adjust my axels to reduce tongue weight but a very robust, capable machine for the money. I see no reason why parts cannot be fixed or replaced. A strong simple machine. Perfect for me anyway.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on your new mini skid steer 👍 I have a mini coming in a few weeks, definitely looking forward to get some work done with it! I’m with you about those new gas cans, they suck 😂
So it came filled with hydraulic fluid? I hope my Typhon Stomp comes filled because that's stuff get's expensive at an average of $30 gallon and 7 gallons is a wallet hitter! I ordered the mechanical tightening track. MY negative already is that it's only a 1.7 gallon fuel tank. Palm Coast FLA says HELLO!!!!!
I stumbled across your mini ex videos and subscribed! I just bought a mini skid (AGT CRT23: v twin Rato, 3 pump..) at auction. very similar to this machine. It has the same controls with the tracks and loader divided between left and right sides. I'd love to see you do a deep dive on modifying the hydraulics for one of these to move the hoses around and replace the valves to achieve a track left/ loader right joystick. Better yet would be how to get more flow to the auxiliary circuit. My 3 pump system dedicates a single pump to the auxiliary circuit but at only 4.75 gpm of flow. I'd like to be able to run a tiller and those seem to require at least the 10 gpm range. I've seen guys replace the 3 pump system for a single high flow pump (14~17 gpm) and plumb the tracks and auxiliary together with an adjustable variable flow control valve in order to proportion the flow between those two systems as needed to allow for higher flows to be sent to either one.
I'd definitely be interested in your breakdown and list of what it cost you. I don't wanna buy from an auction because they're soaring past 6500 where I live.
I'm thinking that a diesel engine would be the better option for torque and power. Not sure how good the gas engine is for bull work? Ive been thinking about buying one, but still contemplating it.
Not friends. The right term is counter weight. I have a diggit scl850. Dont look at what it can't do. Look at what it can do. The 2 thing I look at is 1. Heat from exhaust 2. How easy is it to check oil
@@jtsokiehobbyandadventures6666 does it remove grass? There enough power? I’m looking to buy one at auction but scared it won’t remove st Augustine grass here in Florida.
@@cookiemanbs this is the 3rd machine I have bought from auction in Oklahoma. I have been able to sell for more then what I paid for on 2 machines. And if I wounted to sell this one it would be the same. I did not buy to dig in the ground. I bought to move material. I can not answer the question because it's not something I have tried. If I dig I have a mini excavator.
Hey bro can you switch the hydraulic lines? I drive a grapple truck and if a mechanic work on it they sometimes put the hydraulic lines on backwards and the control be backwards I just switch it back.
Nice vid. Would be a steal if you could get those landed here for $2k to 3k. Yeah, gas cans these days suck. Ill only use race cans anymore. Its $50 bucks instead of $8 but youll never cuss it out and throw it across the yard when it craps gas on you or wont pour because youve got tiger claw hand trying to keep the safety button open. Everything from China is packed like its travelling 2 blocks from their location. For some reason they just cant fathom what happens in shipping. Ive packed containers with locals in China and they really dont know anything about packing, tiedowns, knots, dunnage, etc. Those are guys that do it every day too.
@@thegarageconnection Yeah that's what I'm saying its not that heavy. A Toro machine that size is rated for 1000lbs and doesn't start tipping over until around 2800lbs. You can move a toolbox that size with a dolly pretty easily. I have a small bobcat thats rated at 2800 lift and 5700 tip capacity and i find it struggles some with digging in clay. I'm just not sure what the point is. A bucket of gravel is going to weigh more than that tool box.
Don't not like it because you over loaded the machines capabilities. Hell I have access to a case 350 loader and if I try to lift 130,000 pounds it will just flip itself on the load and kill me. It is to replace 4 men per job. How do you eat a 2500 pound bull? One bite at a time. Don't take big bites that choke you. I have ran the old 1990 Komatsu 4000 and D 9 cats tons Volo off road dump trucks and back busting drag pans. All have their limits.

Thanks to my friend Cam.
He is a very honest and reliable man and yes I like him like a brother to me, thank you all for watching.

Can you change the hydraulic hoses to the controls to make it how you want it like with the mini-ex?
Unfortunately not with this machine it’s all hard piped
Nice machine.
How much was the mini + shipping?
did you check the oil level
Home Depot has 2" heavy duty ratchet straps for $9.97 each, which is a pretty good price. Working load of 3,333 pounds.

Have you figured out what teeth fit the mini skid bucket and where to get them?
Have you used the trencher on it?
People have to remember the Toro dingo was only rated at 500lbs at height back in the day.

You can learn about my products. My factory makes mini skid loaders.

What is the price?
Do you sell any of the din 10 pressure test fittings I couldn’t find one online. I already have a set of gauges but none of my fittings work. Thanks
What’s the thread of your gauges now, 1/4 MNPt?

Do yourself a favour and invest in a Vevor 30gal metal fuel tank.
Not a great fork design. That toolbox can't weigh that much. That machine didn't seem super useful for how big it is.
I figure the toolbox with tools weighed about 750-850lbs
