Thanks for this video, I changed the shaft using this technique, it was somewhat bent but before reassembling, I did a quick test of the shifting, still not going from neutral to 1st. Turns out, there are two little roll pins behind that star shaped wheel (2411kyk910 upper left) that were broken so the star wheel was out of sync. Also the holes in that part were elongated. I ordered the pins and the star wheel. There are five bigger ones that the fork fingers grab, they looked fine. I guess all those pins are designed to shear off so nothing expensive gets broken.
I just purchased a crf 110 and it is stuck in neutral. I have taken the clutch cover off and am now waiting for the special socket to come in the mail. Do you have any more information on what helped you fix this issue?
We need to know what size the inside diameter is in mm of each side of that socket. Because most online for sale are 20mm and 24mm. The 24 should work for the first nut you took off but the clutch nut seems to be like it needs about a 15mm or 17mm. I measured my 2019 crf110 and a 20mm would MAYBE catch the indentations. MAYBE.
Hey man i did mine using your vid but it’s shifting super aggressive and has like a metal shaving sound coming from the motor any idea what it could be ?
So nothing really holds Thad shift shaft in except when you put the case back on? Thanks for the video. I see the tools not that expensive on amazon is it just a 1/2 in or 3/8 inside is it??
The actual clutch behaves so weird on these(for the rei stall part),very touchy and VERY easily screws up,I ended up with a nightmare trying to install SMR KIT I bent not 1 but 2 or their steels, and thats not me,so
Your vid got me to the point I need to pull shifter arm out...but unfortunately mine is welded to the vertical part any ideas how I can get that out? Great vid by the way...helped alot
How are you guys keeping the clutch and fly wheel from spinning when tightening or loosening the bolt? I feel like there’s a safer easier way than what I’m trying. Thanks!
Great job
Great video
Very informative
👍

Tell you what would really help me out. If you’d just come do mine.😆 because I’m definitely no mechanic.
Thanks for the video
Very helpful video I appreciate the explanations

@@supermanisweet do you know what that socket is called?

What special socket was that
I couldn’t find the ruber gasket in the parts diagram. Any chance you still have it?
I found mine on faster minis

Do you have to drain the oil first?
yes
Did the 2 clutches slide off together?
Where did you get that tool

Great video, thank you 👍
What special tool do you need
Is it the same thing on Honda Z50a Mini Trail ?
very similar. same concept
So I just did this and there was no change? Any idea?
Have u tried a Clutch adjustment?
Was the original bent or bad in anyway?
@@duramaxdad yea it was bent, I fixed it it was a broken roller pin in the shift drum, still dosnt feel right

There’s a special tool, just google clutch holder tool.
No just hold the flywheel while u take the nut off use a bigger impact
Yeah you don't need to bend every tab over one tab is to lock nut so it doesn't move.
Do you have any play in that new shaft? Will it move much if you push/pull it? Mine moves a lot and has a hard time shifting.
they have a little play when you push/pull. shouldn’t have a hard time shifting though..
Torque specs ?
“You can use a screw driver and hammer” buddie no you cant. Good video learned how to do it but you need that toold frfr
I did it just fine with a hammer and flat head
Welp...this vid came a little late 😂😂😂
Does the bike have to be in neutral when u do this?
Mine was in 4th when I bent the shaft and I cannot down shift it to neutral
