Rush - La Villa Strangiato, live at the Pinkpop Festival, Netherlands 1979

RIP Neil Peart. Here is Pro-shot TV broadcast footage showing most of Rush's performance of La Villa Strangiato, recorded at the Pinkpop Festival on June 4th, 1979. The festival took place at Burgemeester Damen Sportpark, in the city of Geleen. Alex apparently got the injured finger, shown at the beginning of the video, by smashing it in between his bed and the mattress while having fun with his wife before the start of the tour. Rush's full performance at the festival was broadcast live on the radio, and is certainly worth looking up on UA-cam.

I didn't see yours until now, your upload is certainly better! How did you upload it at 60 fps? My copy is a PAL version, and bob deinterlacing didn't deinterlace the video correctly, so mine only runs at 25.

@@VincePazera Now I feel bad, you didn't have to change your title but I appreciate the respect haha.. I actually used a software plugin called Twixtor to double the frame rate, it's like an AI program that estimates what would be between frames and creates a simulated 60fps. I also took the audio from the Hemispheres box set re-release which is slightly better.
