Thanks for the video! Helping a friend that just got this car. We took off the old plate and typical license plate bolts. They were rusted a bit, but we got them to come off. Then saw the 4 hex holes. If anything like those plastic things you put in were holding the bolts previously, they fell into the trunk dead space. NOTHING outside the trunk. Was there similar things originally in those hex holes? in the bottom right hole on your car, it looks like there was something there. But can't tell what.

They need to design better plate mount..all cars have flimsy plate hole mount.

I have the same problem with my 240sx, the bolts totally rusted through and any attempt at removing them is just going to break it. Might give this a go. Thx!!

The reason for those screws is so your plate won't get stolen as easy. very few have that tork it's a tamper prof screw.

im not sure if they still even have it but i got it at Canadian tire
On one car the plastic was stripped out and so I simply used two small aluminum wall anchors ...the ones that thread into drywall ...after getting them started with drill I simply cut off the long "drill" tails and then screwed them in from then on I simply screw screws in.....been years now and I even remove the screws once every year to put new reg stickers on...works GREAT! totally covered by plate and frame...I advise to use the SMALLER anchors ! BTW I have NEVER used 4 screws ! Just the top two are plenty
Get rid of that rust with a Iron fall out remover (same stuff used to clean paint and wheels) and touch up the holes with any kind of paint.

I need this.... I have a SUV and when I got the car they screwed on my plate too tight... And it damaged the mounting.. I had to pay alot of money to remove that screw at another dealer... I'll have to get these you have because one screw is a bolt and nut holding..
LOL seriously? You PAID to have dumb screws removed??? Just use pliers or vice grips to grip head and pull whileturning counterclockwise ...this ALWAYS works and only takes a minute or so of pulling ...plus the further the screw emerges the easier it becomes until you can simply use your fingers....SERIOUSLY? they charged you "a lot of money"? I would not use that dealer ever again
What are the tint laws up in Canada?
They are by the cops discretion at the moment. As of july apparently none at all on any front window or windshield though
My problem is that the little white plastic keeps turning as I'm trying to screw in my license plate. What do I do? How do I get those white plastic pieces out?

Why do you have a license plate cover over your back license plate?
Stop it from getting corroded from salt and it looks a lit better too. Along eith the sticker on the top right corner coste 110/yr and people the odd time steal stickers
