I bought them and used It but this fastener kept popping out of the screw hole. I measured my screw at auto zone and It measured for an m6 -1. I want a fastner or Insert that will fit In the hole and get tight.
Those Affix into the bumper to provide a thread for the screw to follow, it's like threading your plastic bumper. So you can simply unscrew the screw from the thread (this part)
It's a plastic, the threads collapse as they pass through the hole and expand on the other side to hold it in. Use a pry tool to pop it out. If it breaks the head, push it through. These are mostly used for attaching interior body trim. The other guy is thinking of something like a rivet nut which is a threaded metal cylinder that is pressed into a holes like a rivet. I've also heard of purple using wall anchors.
