    Thanks for the two videos on the Audi real license plate, fix, and the lower mocking lights on the rear of an Audi Q5 you save me a bunch of money

    Excellent video. Didn't think I'd find something for this kind of repair, but you really came through. Thanks.

    I dont think most ppl sub to you for Audi content, I could be wrong. I think ppl sub because they just enjoy whatever you put up and gives us something to watch. If it were me id just upload whatever I wanted instead of splitting channels up and neglecting one over the other spreading yourself thin.

      Thanks for the opinion, still trying to figure it all out. Don’t want to kill the channel over posting all kinds of different things.

    Wow I would not have thought jb weld would hold that insert but it indeed does.. nice engineering.. I had a hell of a time with that same bracket ended up buying a new one with SS machine threads.. wish I’d had seen this last year.. this was a great diy video.. yeah I’d keep everything on this channel.. people are tuning into you and your constant dialogue.. just propping up a phone and doing something isn’t a tutorial.. what you provide should be on Netflix your content is great bc your commentary is perfect.. learning a lot about the cars I have .. your interest are great Audi’s and nutrition.. 👍🏻

    Not saying about fixing this issue but I use Ultra Black RTV on every repair ever! lol. Stuff is amazing. I cant even name all the things ive fixed with it. It'll turn into a block of rubber if you wanted.

    So the white square keepers in that bracket are not OEM. The OEM keepers are round metal things that resemble a drywall screw holder and they are about $8/each and need to be ordered. Someone stuck a square keeper in a round hole. Luxury brands are the worst. We have lots of road salt in PA and in 2 years every vehicle has plate mounting issues. The dealers juat use duct tape or glue instead of fixing the problem.

    Deffo my fave UA-cam’r.
    Will you be able to give us an intro on the caps you be wearing 🥁🧢
    It’s annoying that something german can go south so bad because since about 2000 everything Audi has gotten more consuming.
    This is just my thoughts so make of it what you want.
    I like many have come to the conclusion that Audi are timing out the profits with this latest generation of engines I’m so ready for the electric change over but in the mean time while there is still time I’m gonna make one last run and rebuild the engine in my A3.
    Your tutorials have influenced e and with out I prob would not have decided to start this project.
    Would be nice if you made a vid explaining 3rd generation pistons, balance shafts in a bit more detail because there are so many different suppliers of parts what who and where and some on the repairing of transmissions, hope I’m not asking too much? Lastly the tooling. Some things are too much of a guessing game. Also an other thing that’s harder to find is good information on upgrading the lights, rear ones more so. Well it’s all just ideas Big respect for all you do, peace.

      Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll get around to it. I like unique vintage hats from eBay especially trucker type hats with the mesh, no specific brand really. I have some nice ones but I’m too afraid to get them dirty so I don’t wear them.. that’s the problem with me buying vintage stuff, can’t replace it when it’s worn out sometimes

    what's the size of the anchor being used? THAT'S hard to figure out because almost all of them at the hardware store are for drywall and much larger.

    Just wondering… I’m having what I believe is this same problem but I’m not able to actually remove the bracket due to the screws being stuck and am unable to remove my license plate, so I cannot access any of the screws to remove and fix the bracket. Any suggestions? I really don’t want to have to saw the bolt off but I fear I may have to.

    What is the factory screw size

  • @ripsaw2322

    Arg... my stupid brake light is on for some reason. Its not the pad sensor because I twisted those wires together months ago. All brand new pads and rotors about then as well. Ebrake light was on but nothing was happening. I dont know, ill scan it with obdeleven tomorrow.

    • @NaptownTuner
      @NaptownTuner  3 роки тому

      Might be the plug itself, hopefully you didn’t twist the wires together that far up (like chopping off the factory plug). Although it probably wouldn’t matter since it’s not that important to have

    • @ripsaw2322
      @ripsaw2322 3 роки тому

      @@NaptownTuner nah I twisted the together after the plug incase I ever get a new sensor. Something is rattling upfront driver side. It seems like my car is always messing up! I came from an Acura I drove 6 years and never had one issue lol.

    Can you please make a video on how to adjust audi doors?

    • @NaptownTuner
      @NaptownTuner  3 роки тому +1

      Might be awhile but I’ll see, I haven’t needed to do that yet on any of my cars and so far I’m just showing most things as I go. I’ll take some doors off and I might be able to play with them, thanks for the idea

    In my opinion you should not open another account, i've seen multiple youtubers do this over the years and in most cases those "new" channels die pretty soon.
    They usually do this because they have a big audience in a specific type of content and the new things they do don't get as many views, likes etc on the main channel. In this case the new channel fail because the new type of content they do on it is not their primary, they don't make that type of content everyday and if you don't post very regularly the new channel will not generate views, likes, subs etc.
    The second channel method works well if you post as regularly as your main, i see youtubers that post on the main and second channel at the same time in the day everyday then it will work but don't expect the new channel will be pushed forward by the fallowing on this channel, youtube does not care, if you don't post regularly your videos won't be pushed forward.
    You don't have a big fallowing yet, most of your subs are for the audi tfsi specific content but is not like you have 100k of them, so if you want so start something new do it now while you can on this channel even if it does not get views you expect because in time you will build a fallowing that will cover a wider range of subjects. Just my two cents.
