I saw this mod being born in the former BRDoom forums. That blue key random puzzle at 3:06, I remember the thread in the forums where it was conceived. Ah, this mod brings me good memories. BTW, I recommend ANY mod made by Arch. Seriously, everything he releases at the Doom community is high quality.
This is the very first mod from your list I have tried, and I must say it's just wonderful how they translated the whole Monkey Island magic madness into Doom. Loving this so much :D Also, not sure if you noticed, but the pistol, shotgun and super shotgun (and probably chaingun too) sprites are actually skins of the same weapons from Outlaws, a great LucasArts Doom-styled game in the Far West. So basically this mod is tributing LucasArts as a whole to me :D

I loved it, just tried it and the underwater level on the ghost ship freaks me out, idk if I'm aquaphobic or what but jumping made it feel dreamlike and I panic. 😆 the audio is so good but it made the panic worse 😆

if you use a map editor such as doom builder you can disable the kill switch for when you don't run in opengl, my computer has trouble. simply open up the 2nd map in the editor and open the script editor and scroll down till you see his message and delete the line of code underneath it
I know this video is three years old but I've been trying for ages to get this mod to work. I've run it on Doom and Doom 2 while using Brutal Doom and Doomguy's weapons and hands haven't changed post-installation. I also cannot use ammo, so I always run out of ammo at the end of the first map. Anyone have a similar issue? Is it a compatibility problem with Brutal Doom?
i guess this mod only works with GZdoom 1.9 version... whenever i try to load it up on my latest gzdoom i get decorate script errors, since it tells me to enable the opengl if its loaded on zdoom. :(
When he walks into a light or dark room, he should switch which eye the patch is on. They were so you wouldn't get blinded going above of below deck. One eye was always adapted for low light. They did have multi shot guns like the Noch and one that used multiple hammers along the same barrel. The reload time really should be longer, making you more careful of able to shoot fresh running over another gun (implying you picked up an unfired one and shot it). You can always reload while moving. I'd love to see some shotguns, moltov cocktails, actual grenades (they had them;bombs), smoke bombs for distraction, and throwing knives added to this. Instead of the BFG, you could use the Noch volley gun that shot 7 rounds at once (and kind of hurt the shooter). There was no mini gun equivalent, maybe a Puckle, but that's too big amd slow to use. I guess you could also have multiple guns of the same type so you can swap them but eventually have to reload them (again, unless you pick up a new one of the same type).
My dude, you seriously should turn off bilinear filtering. You're hurting the poor pixels! They're all smudged together like an ultra compressed texture!
Ok, this is a cool mod. I do feel it lacked some commitment to the theme. Like those cartridge loaded flintlocks. And generally too much precision. Also, no proper musket? Could have fitted a rifle there as a highly-precise long-range weapon with slow reload time. Rifles are pretty old, but the first rifles weren't superior to smoothbore guns at first. I'm surprised the mod doens't feature crossbows, they were still popular in the period. I think it would have been interesting if some weapons had a bayonet upgrade or alt-fire. Also, lots of Doomsy guns back when would have totally worked. Hot Shot Cannons, Volley Guns, Nock Guns, shield guns...
Nothing is more scarier then a cacodemon with depth perception.

It's pretty much a technical reason. There are no mirrors in the engine, so that is another room with another doomguy
