@@SouthFloridaSaltwaterFishing no problem, man I started watching your videos 4 years ago and you literally taught me everything. I know when I go out on the water.😂
@@SouthFloridaSaltwaterFishing I remember making your squid daisychain and making my father troll with it. He was very impressed. I pretended like I made it up on my own.
Just a quick thanks. I'm living in Mulege BCS and I bought an old 85 Mako 171 w a 75HP Merc Force.I'm new to this salt water stuff as I grew up stream and lake fishing the Sierras. Your tutorials have been invaluable to me. Thanks.
I am new to your channel and and really like your videos and info. I fish mostly Baja where techniques are different but looking forward to applying some of your ways down here. Keep up with the great content, thank you!
Hey love seeing big guy in his element of trolling. I guess those are the ballyhoo you rigged the other day? Dont't forget I would love to see you rig some mullet. Tight lines Sensei.
Hi Heath, Good to see you and Avi out fishing together again. This was another great tip from the master. Thank you for sharing your fishing knowledge. Say "Hi" to the Crew. Take care and have fun, Mickey
Hi Mickey, it was fun having Avi out with me, he enjoys fishing and a good boat ride. I'm not much of a bait guy, but I think having this skill, can only help when artificials aren't getting eaten. Everyone says "Hi Mickey". School starts this week, finally. Been a long summer. Hope all is well in Palm Bay. Talk to you soon. Take care.
Hi Heath, just want to thank you for your video series! There is no doubt all your tips & techniques have made me a much better angler. I fell in love with the Florida keys many years ago, and for the past 10 years I’ve trailered my boat to Islamorada for a month of fishing each year. There are so many species and ways to fish that I was pretty much overwhelmed and guessing until I discovered your excellent series. I hope someday I’ll run into you on the water! Your love for fishing is contagious, keep those videos coming!
Thanks a million. Here's a link to some great wire. It's stainless steel, dark coffee colored Malin LC8-42 SS Wire Coffee (#8 wire, 42 feet) amzn.to/44WuPL2
@@SouthFloridaSaltwaterFishing ahh! some time we overthink things! I have that SS leader wire. I thought I need something else, more manageable. Thank you and keep doing your videos, I have learned a lot from them and always love seeing how you have can have fun with the family without having a 200k boat!
Another GREAT video Heath! Great to see the Fish Slayer back out there!
If anyone deserves more subs and views it’s this guy, very educational fishing videos
Thanks a million. I appreciate it.

Good info! 👍
Great video. I have the hook, weight and rubber band. Now for the pin, what should I get? SS wire? Any recommendation?

Hi Heath do you use a swivel on main line
Yes I typically use a size 7 snap swivel with a coast lock
We can use mullets with that rig?
No. Rigging a swimming mullet is somewhat similar, yet entirely different. the spine has to be removed and the hook and sinker are rigged differently.
How long may I deep freeze ballyhoo for trolling bait, and it still be effective?
Up to 6 months. The problem occurs really, when you thaw and refreeze multiple times
