I understand first hand. I have been delivered, it’s a demonic spirit not God. The only happiness we will ever find is in God as he instills it in us. Otherwise Satan never wants to see us happy so he gets in our minds leading us to think that having more and more of this or that will create happiness. Well, here is the truth, if the “this and that” is not God or of God- in his will, happiness will never be found. Spend quality time with him in his word. Seek to understand it, and do what it says (of course imperfectly) and he will answer your prayer. If you also have faith that he will! Very important. I sent a prayer up for you. God is good!

Well said 👍🏻 After falling for the “new age” ideas, it took me time to understand what Lord wants to say.
Put it simply, God will give you hope. God will give what is good for you.
7 years with a debilitating disorder that's ruined a lot in my life and I still have yet to find hope. Did God give me this?

Sounds like a contradiction. Ask me for "anything" and you shall receive but it has to fall into my category. Sounds like what I need I won't receive because I'm suppose to struggle for the better good. Hmm that's scary cause the only thing keeping me going in this world is that he'll one day answer my prayer.

I asked for something thinking that something will make me better , wealthier, better status , I guess I'm asking for the wrong things but I don't know what else I can pray for I do have other problems should I ask God to take them away !

Can you to me then , I ask for a godly husband someone after his own heart, so that I can come out of fornication but instead he gave me some old man that's old enough to be my father I was Pacific about what I wanted in a godly Man someone young my age after his own heart but instead I got nothing so the things I asked for is not in vain it's something to help me but it never comes out to be so this word asking you shall be giving and seeking you shall find I think it's not true

Doesnt make sense... you clearly believe in fate... so how can one ask if you can be healed from a sickness if fate (Gods Will) can be that you die with that disease. You cant possibly know his "will" if you believe in fate. There would be no reason to ask anything at that point... because his "will" conquers all your requests. And for jesus to say "ask ANYTHING"... then you put stipulations on it .. is confusing and contridicting. Maybe jesus should have said "ask for anything "good" and ill give it to you..
You have to be able to discern what is good. If you keep not getting what you want or chaos in life than, it’s you who’s making this happen. Not God. God only what is good for His children. His children are confused though. They only think they know what is good because rarely do they question their own beliefs and feelings.
