I would never say Joel has not made mistakes especially in interviews and early on. He does not want to turn away the very people he has been called to reach. Joel is called to a different set of people, the Children of the Baby Boomer's who will respond to the Love of God and how we need to Respond to his love. I would agree he should talk about Sin and Judgement on occasion but of course you would not like the way he would approach it anyway. You just will never get it... At least I see no sign you will. And he encourages his audience to put God first, immerse ourselves in Jesus. not enough of course just to Feel good. I feel good when the Yankee's win. Our challenge is to apply the Word of God, trusting in the Lord's Grace, Love Forgiveness and Direction.
