It’s the lasting light and love of God. Gods glory is his grace (the beauty of Christ and his sacrifice for God and mankind. It’s the good of mankind and the glory of God. Restoring what was lost because of the great love of Christ.

You are partially correct. It's true that the glory of God is His character, but it's also His creative ability, amongst other things. When you see a beautiful sunset or mountain or meadow, etc., it speaks to God's creative ability, and that speaks to His glory. I would be careful about thinking it has to do with "the highest level ideas humans are cognitively capable of" because that attributes God's glory to man's mind.

I am not sure what exactly you are trying to say with this. This is one of the single most beautiful parts of the Bible, where the Lord Jesus Himself weeps for a dead person. It showed the love and goodness of God's character, and how much God loves each and every one of us, His creations.
But God demonstrated His own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. We were the reprobate, yet Christ loved us and died for us, even before conversion. Same with the Corinthians church. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 ".... And such were some of YOU!"
Look at up the sky, look at the stars through a telescope, look into a microscope, learn more about the world. The love, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the perfect example- literally- of God's love and mercy and glory.
