what verse talks about a relationship with jesus?
By far the most terrifying sentence in the world 😳
He meant they did not trust in His finished works for their salvation, they went to establish their right standing with God based on their own works and righteousness. They were NEVER SAVED, NEVER BORN AGAIN. Therefore were NEVER KNOWN.
NAHUM 1:7 says the Lord KNOWS all who TRUST in HIM.
The Father's WILL concerning our salvation is to BELIEVE ON CHRIST for our salvation, NOT look to our own works and deeds for acceptance of God.
Also, they never established a relationship with Him. You can't know someone without first getting to know them... Personally.

@@simon_kamau If it’s all about obedience, then we have to ask ourselves, what kind of obedience? Perfect obedience? Just enough obedience? Who draws the line?

This is one of the passages that scares me.
why does this scare you. Jesus doesn’t say cryptic messages to catch you out, it’s very clear.
“This is the will of my Father who is in heaven” - “that you believe on him who he has sent” - Jesus. “WHO-SO-EVER believe on him has everlasting life.” That’s from the moment you’ve believed in him forever. To put your faith in Jesus is to be saved full stop. Full stop. Full stop. One you’ve done that you can never, ever, ever loose your salvation. With that being said the context like those Jews around him in those days was people can acknowledge who he was, they called him, master, teacher, lord, some out of respect others disingenuously. Theoretically speaking, actually, it’s not even theory, it happened and Jesus speaking obviously of all the occasions says that people will say or have said “in the name of Jesus” this and or that…Luke 9:49 describes how John said to Jesus that someone was driving out demons in Jesus’, prior to being filled the spirit, they could do that whilst Jesus was alive. This, Gabriela, is the will of God. Believe in Jesus.
John 6:40, John 17:3.
Did you do something that the opposite of what the Father and Lord Jesus told us to do so? Yet you against it?
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

Good job! I just want to add that Jesus was quoting from Psalms 6 when He said depart from me you workers of iniquity. Anytime there is a reference to an Old Testament passage, we should look it up to help get a fuller understanding... I'll paste it below...
1 O Lord, do not rebuke me in Your anger,
nor discipline me in the heat of Your anger.
2 Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am weak;
O Lord, heal me, for my bones are terrified.
3 My soul is greatly troubled,
but You, O Lord, how long?
4 Return, O Lord, rescue my soul.
Save me for the sake of Your lovingkindness.
5 For in death there is no remembrance of You;
in Sheol who will give You thanks?
6 I am weary with my groaning;
all night I flood my bed with weeping;
I drench my couch with my tears.
7 My eye wastes away from grief;
it grows weak because of all those hostile to me.
8 Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity;
for the Lord has heard the voice of my weeping.
9 The Lord has heard my supplication;
the Lord accepts my prayer.
10 May all my enemies be ashamed and greatly terrified;
may they turn back and be suddenly ashamed.
Amen, Redeemed In Christ Alone!

LUCIFERIANS reverse Scripture like you did, too.
Jesus is the WORD of God, which means every word in Holy Scripture are the WORDS of God.
None of the Gospels were written by Jesus Himself, but every word of Scripture is inspired by God.
To those believers, Lord strengthen their faith that they may grow and to non believers, Lord please grant them time that the Good News be spread far and wide so that many will hear and be save, for me know our Lord God is a loving Father. Amiens
My greatest fear is that ill hear those words from the Lord, please say a prayer for me.
I will pray for you but by your very own fear means you are probably wasting your time in fear. Jesus doesn't want you living in fear, he wants you to be spreading the gospel of salvation!
Just believe that his blood cleansed you in your prayer tell him, and the reason why he wants us clean is because he doesn’t want us to suffer when the truth is finally in us, my belief, he wants to share his power in your body “temple” because “why shall a man die” so why live in sins (lie) when you can live better and holy, your holiness won’t get you to heaven, since HE makes you holy, but his gift is what saved us, that simple brother, anytime you feel guilt, remember the blood Jesus shed for us dead sinners

Recite the scriptures, even when you feel bad or say the opposite of how you feel. If you feel bad say Wow, I feel wonderful, energetic and alive! (6x's in a row for 3 days). This is what faith is. Faith is believing the opposite of what the devil will do and that is put pressure on you in the physical realm. He does that through feelings ( hint: You are not your feelings), bills that show up in the mail ( threatening you), and other stuff. Threats, threats, threats = physical pressure. Ask God to turn it around, building character while you do so. Pay what little you can consistently. Be truthful even if it hurts. Look at this scripture and recite over and over despite how you feel (Jeremiah 29:11). God is working His plans to turn your situation into good. You won't see it right away, that's why it's called Faith. Faith = Trust.
Remember God is good. God is good ALL THE TIME! There is a worship song by Steven Samuel DeVassy "God is Good." Sing this worship song until you have it memorized. Why? Because we need reminding when strange trials (problems) infiltrate our lives and we say "where is God?"
Trials are to work our belief in God and that is will we stand or fold when our physical life is threatened ( that is just a whisper meaning this physical life is temporary. Does the satisfaction of this Life have more power over us than God's eternal promises, that never change. Secondly, problems ( common to everyone like; how am I going to pay the rent, car note, tuition, overcome this illness are designed by the devil to push us out patience for God's promises to land on our doorstep. He'll hinder whom you need hindered and give you favor, with whom you need. God's goodness is good ALL the Time. He can do Anything. All things are possible with God. Stick with Him. He'll see you through and you will have a beautiful, courageous testimony. Testimonies come from fiery trials.
God is Great!

Many "Christians" could be left out.
There are three types of christians
1. Born in christian faith. Trust their
Cultural heritage of
2. Those who prayed "sinners' prayer but never REPENTED of SIN. That attitude which REFUSES God to rule their/our lives. They "believed " but trusted theIr lips to "save" them. And
3. Those sinners who understood and appropriated the Good news of the Kingdom. Believed in One True Living and Loving God of both love and justice.
Understood that they violated His RIGHTEOUS laws, ( SIN) repented and trusted Jesus as Lord who then becomes theIr/ our Saviour. BELIEVED REPENTED AND RECEIVED JESUS as Lord to become their Saviour, YESHUA the Messiah and RETURNING King 👑.
There is only ONE type of Christian and that is anyone that has been born again of a Godly seed aka “Incorruptible seed “ 1 Peter 1:23. That true believer has the seed of Christ 1 John 3:9. The same DNA of Christ himself. An incorruptible seed never dies because it is in Christ. Any man IN CHRIST is a new creation. 2 Corinthians 5:17. The new birth does not reverse itself . Those born in original sin are sons of Adam with his “corruptible seed” in Union with Adam Romans 7 and 8. Under the law of sin and death. Every sin man has ever committed or ever will has been forgiven upon receiving Christ :”1 John 2:12. Forgiven is in perfect tense( action completed in past with results that go on forever).
This passage doesn’t apply to a born again believer . Only false professing believers

I had done all that most say is necessary to be saved including believe on Jesus as my savior my whole life but in fervent prayer I asked Jesus if there's anything in my life that is coming between me and you and he told me Yes, your records (1977, I wanted to be a musician and my records were my life) you love your records more than you love me and if you really want to KNOW ME then give me your records (burn them). I knew that it meant die to myself and give the rest of my life to Jesus. I finally did it and I know that my life is pleasing to God and I am doing the will of the Father. I did what Peter said we must do in order to know that we will be able to enter the kingdom.
2 Peter 1:5-12 KJV
And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; [6] And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; [7] And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. [8] For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. [9] But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. [10] Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: [11] For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
its possible to do good works without faith but impossible to have faith and not do good works
Tell that to the thief on the cross that Jesus saved because he believed and then died with no good works. Stop adding works to faith to be saved and leading people away from salvation because they believe their added good works is going to get them saved. Good works should be done after being saved but not required for salvation or to stay saved or to risk losing salvation.
Romans 4
4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
Faith without works is a dead faith , true faith always produces works because you actually love God when regenerated. The thief on the cross would have surely produced works if he had lived longer. You are right that our works don’t save us, but works do matter, so much so that the son had to live a perfect life for us. Works are a by product of a Christian, the result of conversion.
@@matthewshepard5956 so stopping habitual sins can be a sign if conversion?
@@awefaweffea4111 I believe it can be. 1, 2, 3 John talk about the marks of a true believer and assurance. A changed lifestyle is one evidence. The world sins habitually without a real remorse that leads to repentance. In contrast I believe a Christian will struggle with sin, our lives are not marked by a blatant lifestyle that is indifferent about sin. Christians are sensitive to sin because they love God and desire to obey. The fact Christians live differently is evidence of a changed heart. Jesus says if you love me you will keep my commandments. He also says, why do you call me lord lord and do not do what I say? Luke 6:46 So, a Christian will live differently due to a changed heart and it will show, but they won’t live perfectly.

I like the evangelistic approach you offer in answering the question. I did a vid on the bible's meaning of "knowing" for my own little circle (ours are like unedited home movies, lol). I used the intimate nature of our relationship with Jesus, and desiring to please the One we love, obeying His commands, especially to love others. It begins in Genesis when Adam "knew" his wife, Eve. On into John 10--"I know my own and my own know me."--Jesus Thumbs up, good stuff.
MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE, AND I KNOW THEM, AND THEY FOLLOW ME
He calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out. And when he puts forth his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. John 10:3-4, 27.
(He shepherds his own sheep, and gives them another Comforter, which is the Spirit of truth that dwells with them, and in them. The sheep of this fold shall be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air when he comes.)
I NEVER KNEW YOU: DEPART FROM ME, YOU THAT WORK INIQUITY
These other sheep that he has, were not shepherded by him, they went their way, the Spirit of truth is not in them. They shall be refined through trials in the great tribulation.
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and they that keep the faith of Jesus. Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth, they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
Umm the sheep have The Holy Spirit. It's the goats that don't have Him.
@@arcguardian
Both "his own sheep" and "other sheep he has" call him Lord. When the Son of man comes, the shepherd shall separate them as the sheep and the goats. Then shall he say also to the goats, Depart from me.
We are saved by grace thru faith
James 2 clarifies what Paul was teaching and what He meant by that and its not what most people today believe. For some reason so many use Paul to Contradict much of what Jesus teaches a true believer must do and be to be counted as a child of God so much as to say we don't even need to listen to Jesus teachings only Paul's teachings because we are gentiles. Fools there are no jews or gentiles anymore there is only those whom God knows through their faith in His Son Jesus who have followed and obeyed His plan for salvation and few it will be that makes up the great multitude in the end in comparison to the majority that will not make it into the Kingdom don't let that be you because some man comes along teaching things contrary to Jesus that sounds good but is false.

Yes, true. Thanks for sharing these Bible verses. Do you have any that speak of salvation? These verses you share make it necessary to be saved by a righteous and perfect savior. There is only one path. There is only one way. We cannot save ourselves by any other means. We can DO nothing.
Grace, mercy, atonement, propitiation, and His love and forgiveness are better than luck or fate. God expects no one to tempt destiny. Many will not have a chance. Nice to meet you and I’ll see you there! Bless you.
Did the people saying “I drove out demons in your name” in *Matt 7: 22* do it by the Holy Spirit?
Because didn’t Jesus say in *Matt 12: 26* that Satan doesn’t cast out Satan or his kingdom will fall?
Yes. They do it by His Spirit which can only mean one thing: "God is faithful, He never leave and He won't" even when He is used to gain something immoral on the back.
2 Timothy 2:13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.
@@chevychelios4672 Not necessarily. We don't know if they actually cast out demons or just laid claim to doing so.
I take that they are believers. Every believer will do works but some do Gold worth works but others straw. The ones who do straw worth work don't enter the kingdom of heaven but are cast outside the kingdom of heaven though they still have eternal life. The known to me is not about accepting the death burial and resurrection but relational in that they didn't spread the Gospel and live as holy as they should have.
1 Corinthians 3:10-15
According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it. For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw- each one's work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.
None the less who they are is a secondary issue and not a salvation issue. Why they got rebuke is important and we should not rest on the fact that Jesus died for our sins alone since we are required to live a life of fruitfulness.

3:09 This Is The Key... Amen! Spirit, Not Flesh.
I am still a bit confused. I do not want to be judgmental of others and yet I do find myself asking if people around me, including family truly know Him. These people are missionaries and teach others, but in our daily encounters, I see other sides that are very hurtful. Often, we cannot so much as agree on interpretation of scriptures. I keep thinking, are we not connected by the fruits of our spirits? If so, why do I feel like an outsider? I can never say to them, you hurt me without it feeling like a gaslighting situation. So how do I define this? Is it immaturity on their or my part? Or is it the way it feels when I speak to them...as if we do not share Christ likeness? Or am I completely off base to think there is a connection between these behaviors and what this scripture is saying?
1 John 4:8 The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
Sadly many preachers let their pride and ego take over and give glory to their selves and not Jesus

Jesus came to Earth to show us how to live, how to act and what is required of us to be a follow of him. We are to deny our flesh daily and to have no part in the ways of the world.

Matthew 5.44
But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
Jesus came & taught the people to keep his commandments. The commandments are still VERY much alive today and are not only for the Jewish people but for ALL people . They are a sign covenant. They are a set apart people. Jesus came celebrating the feast days (Passover and resting in Shabbat) we need to be following suit. All tho we are not saved by works we should have every desire to do them because he did them.
John 14.15
If you love me, keep my commands.
Today Gods set apart feats have been trampled upon & replaces by fake events like Christmas and Easter with absolutely no biblical basis whatsoever ever. I believe the ones who did not set them selves apart nor follow his way will be the ones who he says “get away from me I never knew you”
You're making the same error the Galatians made, which is why Paul gave them a very stern talking-to, even much more stern than he did with the church in Corinth who were living in blatant and habitual sin. What's required of us is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, since this is the will of the Father. Period. SHOULD we live right? Of course we should, but that's neither a requirement for salvation nor a requirement to keep salvation. Please show me in Scripture, without ripping verses out of context, where Scripture even says that. Believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, Paul told the Philippian jailer. No added requirement. Or did the Lord or His disciples leave a pertinent part out? I don't think so.
No, the ones He never knew will be the ones trying to keep the Mosaic Law, who delude themselves that their works count for anything, who don't comprehend that even our best works are filthy rags, as Paul put it. Those who slap the Savior across the face, saying what He did wasn't adequate or enough, they have to add their works and law-keeping to it because they pretend to trust Christ, yet do that terrible thing. Jesus Christ alone is the narrow gate and the strait path. You give lip service about not being saved by works, yet your train of thought, your words and your actions indicate you don't believe that at all, nor have you understood the Gospel of Christ.
@Pielun12 I didn't mean to insult, nor was there venom in my response. It's difficult sometimes to get meaning across in text because tone of voice and expression are absent. Yes, as believers we can disagree about non-essential issues. However, the issue of salvation is not a non-essential one, it's one of the core doctrines of Christianity. If a person adds works to salvation in any way, then I don't consider them a brother or sister in Christ because if that's all they've ever believed then they're not saved. This is the same false gospel the Judaizers taught that Paul dealt with in his letter to the Galatians.
You don't even know me, yet you make many assumptions about me, like that I advocate living in sin. I don't. Sin has temporal consequences and ruins our witness to a fallen world. However, when it comes to sin, the older I get, the more aware I am of sin in my life and that sin is a condition of our fallen flesh. I don't even mean "obvious" or "big" sins, but sins many aren't even aware of. Boredom is a sin. A moment of fear or worry is a sin. Complaining is a sin. I could go on and on. We'll never be without sin as long as we're stuck in these fallen bodies. Does that mean I'm saying it's hopeless, go sin it up all you want? No, of course not. I don't know why you make that assumption going by what I said.
He meant, you never gave me a broken heart contrite spirit of repentance.
Fear God, honor the king, love the brotherhood.
What a good video.
This group depended on their works to gain entrance. It’s grace through faith in Christ and Christ alone. A Christian will do good works, but those works flow out of a new heart wrought by being born again. Salvation is Gods work in Christ alone.

The real issue here is why do some people believe in Jesus and others not believe. Jesus answered this question himself, he said "you do not believe because you are not my sheep, my sheep hear my voice and I know them and they follow me"
Because you ain't had a relationship with him, that is what matters!
As I was going through this video I had a chilling thought about Eddie Long!

For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who disobey the gospel of God?
TO NOT EXIST IN JESUS GRACE IS TO NOT EXIST AT ALL THAT IS WHY HE SAID IT I LOVE YOU ALL APOLLO STEVEN XXX
Jesus knows those who are His sheep; HE is their Shepherd and they follow HIS voice. Those who are His are on the side of Truth, the true gospel of salvation. Those who do good works but are unsaved are the 'goats' on judgement day.
I’m come to the conclusion that Jesus must love me. The way I live and I still haven’t perished. He must love us more than we know
Matthew 25:1-46 NIV Bible
He say that because to many of us are not truly following according to his teachings and not doing his will we just want to do what we want like getting rich and worship money and idol's
You can only know someone through a personal relationship.
John 3:36
He said that to the five who never gave their heart to Jesus. They were religious on the outside but in their heart they did not believe in Jesus. They did not have a real love relationship with Him. They were not saved. They rejected John 3:16. He closed the door to Heaven on them. Sad.
“And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;”
Mark 16:17 NIV
I’d like to add a little more detail in that we are all born into a relationship with God when we enter this world. It’s just that it’s the wrong one and not the one that will enable us to enter heaven.
John 3:36. makes this clear, and I suggest paying attention particular attention to the word in that verse of either “abides” in the king James or “remains” in most other versions which means the stain of sin and what goes with it remains I with us until God grants us the gift of faith and ability to repent of your sins. NOT BY WORKS BUT BY FAITH IN CHRIST IN LOVE AND INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP
Good video. Great subject!
My comment is for comment readers to help to clarify.
A more clear version for this scripture is the New English Version which shows us that iniquity is lawlessness.
Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’"
The most direct answer I found is John 10:27 "My sheep listen to My voice; I KNOW them, and they follow ME."
Many think Paul said that the law was done away with. No more commandments? Nope! Be careful of Paul. Peter, who Jesus told to care for his sheep said so in 2Peter 3:14 "Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace. 15And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, 16as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are HARD to UNDERSTAND, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own DESTRUCTION, as they do the other Scriptures. 17You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the ERROR of LAWLESS people and lose your own stability."
In a nutshell what is required is in Revelation 14:12 "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."
Commandment #4 is to keep the Sabbath. If you think it is Sunday you are following the catholic church. That is their canon 29.
"Christians must not judaize by resting on the Sabbath, but must work on that day, rather honouring the Lord's Day; and, if they can, resting then as Christians. But if any shall be found to be judaizers, let them be anathema from Christ."
This directly contradicts God's 4th Commandment. What did Jesus say about that? Matthew 5:19 "So then, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do likewise will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever practices and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven."
Here is the 4th Commandment from Exodus: 20:8 "Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10but the SEVENTH day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God, on which you must not do any work-neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant or livestock, nor the foreigner within your gates. 11For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth and the sea and all that is in them, but on the seventh day He rested. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy."
So if you think that Paul said just pick a day, that would be wrong. Plus you arent to buy or sell on that day. So much for going out to lunch after service. (I miss that!)
Here is a scripture that shows how important it is to God. Ezekiel 20:20 "And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God."
It used to mean the death penalty to anyone who broke the Sabbath. They tried to trap Jesus with it to kill him.
Soon the Ten Commandments will be revealed just like when Moses surprised everyone as they danced around the idol in the movie. That day is coming again. Just about everything in the bible repeats. Most will be caught off guard- without oil for their lamps. I struggle trying to keep the Ten Commandments. There are really 613, so I am no holier than anyone. But I dont want anyone to be fooled. So dont believe me. Look into it for yourself.

Not to be saved but because you are and truly been saved by Christ and have been sealed by the Holy Spirit and given a new heart and mind change a turning from sin.
God is love and it says love fulfills the law.
So the Holy Spirit is Love that comes to live in us our helper.
He got a name and you cannot blame him if he says depart from me I never knew you...
This Is It. Becouse Heart and actions are away from him.
Just the way the bible explains this proves the bible is true.
Jesus's blood washed away our sins and condemnation. God hates sin to the point that every liar will be thrown into the lake of fire. We all lie and will commit countless sins thus Jesus took on the punishment we could not bear. God sees the righteousness of Jesus and we are sealed at the moment of belief on Him. When God said I never knew you, he means it.
I do believe it means what it says. Contrast that with John 10:27-28.
**John 5:28-29**
28 "Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which **all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,**
