Also sorry I guess the video didn't capture the FPS counter for lossless but it showed 40/120 on my end. Give it a try. If it doesn't work, refund it! Drop testimonies below
I dont get the fps cap to 40 on skyrim though could you clarify a bit more?
@@Zepbus1 He has a 120hz monitor, the frame gen is x3, so 40x3=120. If he was using the older x2, he'd be capping at 60, since 60x2=120.

Just coming to say this must be sorcery of some kind, never thought I’d get rock solid fps in heavily modded cities but here we are
Lossless Scaling is GOD
As a tip, I recommend enabling tearing as it reduces latency quite a bit.
Ey good tip!
*GOOD

Does it create more heat on the graphic card ? i have super 1600 and it already runs hot

let's not forget you need a FG capable card, I wouldn't say that unless you can "download" it on any cards
@@usr21882 You don't. AFAIK it works on any card. Slower, but works.
I'm ready for Nolvus V6 now.
no crap I was thinking the same i tried 5 but my 3090 almost caught fire.
How? The 6900xt handles it easily and it's a worse card. @@a1racer441
Gave it a try and you did not lie about the results!!! Free FPS! (for 7€)
HELL YEA.
I'm speechless... I saw your video and I thought, there's no way in hell that works. I'm currently playing Nolvus in 4k and was averaging 40fps. I decided to give this app a shot and omfg. 100+ fps right away. I don't know what to say.. Stared at my screen for a couple of minutes as I couldn't believe it lmaoo

@@daethmer7834 gpu manufacturers are scammers thats why
To be fair, it does produce artifacts, especially with transparent things. Thin UI elements gets blurry while in motion. But... those are small prices to pay! This software produces extra frames for you easily, it's almost magic.
Just realized this myself, I'm playing Wildlander as my main list right now and all the UI elements are at the bottom of the screen where most of the blurring happens. I can play the list without it at 72 FPS capped with almost no FPS dips in most places so it's not a big deal but it really makes the Wildlander UI look bad unfortunately. Still glad I bought it though might be useful for other lists or other games later on haha
I've noticed in emulators (on a ps3 emulator) it had less artifacting than in new pc games. Idk why that is. Maybe because the games are more basic
nah it works perfectly fine even at 3x in emulation zero issues with UI elements only a bit of halo around characters when turning
@@Dregomz02 that’s good for you but it’s going to work differently for everyone depending on their setup.
its less visible if you lock on much higher fps like 60 2x. you need a 120hz or higher monitor though
Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention!! This significantly improved the performance of my Skyrim.
Ok, i just bought the thing on Steam and .....IT WORRRRK so WELL!!! i know i shouldn't say that with my 3090 ti but even a heavily modded game like Skyrim can put my 3090ti at 40 fps in some area.
This is a big deal for the Skyrim community and for gamer in general.
Thank you so much for showcasing this software.
Can you try battlefield for me
I got this program literally yesterday and it changed my Skyrim experience. Really cool of you to show off how amazing the tech is.

Thanks for the video biggie, not entierly sure how this works haha. I'll have to look into this more
Listen. I don't know either but it does. It's some sort of sorcery.
It just works my friend
I'm going to assume it's similar in what fsr and Nvidias frame gen does. It adds fake frames in-between real ones, these are fake as they are of a lower quality and will also introduce input lag. It's why 60fps is recommended as a baseline as the artifacts and input lag get worse the lower your fps, this isnt really a thing for going from 30 to 60, it's more about going from 60 to 120 or hitting 200+ on high refresh monitors.
@@lilpain1997 Do yourself a favor and don't assume. Thanks 👍
Can confirm this is qorking awesomely! Running a Ultra graphics ENB Fallout 4 Storywealth with it Capped at 60
& my FPS Refuses to drop below 59.
HELL yea
doesnt storywealth always run at 59 to 60 frames? it did when i played it without this new scaling thing
@cleverlikem3218 that's where it's capped at, however I'll have it drop to 35-45 depending on what I'm doing & where I am. With this, it's STAYED at 59/60, never dropped once!
& since I run with a RTX 4080 laptop, I noticed a HUGE difference in graphics quality. Prob cause I had thus thing set on Auto 😂
THANK YOU A LOT FOR THIS
Thanks you so much my friend !
How do you fix the artifacting and spider sense like glitches on screen especially on 3x FG
Also can you help if we want to upscale to native 1440p from 1080p what settings and scale factors do we use
Do we change the ingame setting to 1080p while we set Lossless scaling settings to auto or custom?
Thank you
Been trying to use this but for some reason when running the upscale on 1440p Lorerim it cuts off the screen. Like I can't see my HUD anymore and misaligns the Better Third Person Selection.
Cool gonna try this in the morning
Lossless Scaling is the BOMB! I love this.
Can't wait to test it!! Thank you for sharing!!
p.s: what is the ENB in this video?
Definitely gonna try this. I have been getting 144 frames for the most part, in interiors and outside in less intense areas, looking at the ground/sky etc. But they can also dip quite substantially. I like my game looking good but i really like my frames, while frame gen isnt technically extra fps, if the input delay is low then who cares I suppose. I know it can also potentially cause ghosting/artifacting i think.
Hows you experience with it in general? Do higher drawcalls affect it? How is it in the notorious skyrim locations like falkreath?
Skyrim runs on DX11 so you still want to keep draw calls under 12,000 when possible. Anything over 12k will lower base FPS on any PC and the more info lossless has to work with, the better experience. Although I find that capping my fps at 40 and doing the 3x frame gen is ideal for me and I usually get 50+ fps in heavy areas.
Thank you! Hooked on Nolvus as well - This totally increased my FPS. Now using PureDark's mod and lossless scaling I'm pushing an unbelievable 120 FPS (which is max on my Oled) on the regular - Playing 4K Nolvus V5 ultra on a 4080. Thanks for sharing! "Buttery smooth" Yeah, there's just a teeny bit of lag, but this is Skyrim, it doesn't interfere with gameplay from my POV. Eagerly awaiting V6!
Oh baby a triple! Oh yeah!
This seems amazing! What about quality though, is there a noticable difference in the rendering with and without it?
thank you thank you thank you!!
Do you cap your frames at driver level, with another program, or Display Tweaks or such? I tried lossless scaling frame gen a while back with iffy results but I wonder if it was just my setup
Depends on the program. With Skyrim you can cap via ENB. You should take your monitor's HZ and divide by 3 or 2 depending on how much FG you're doing.
@@biggie_boss Gotcha thanks, was jw because I usually use the control panel and tend avoid using ENB’s cap but I know it works a bit differently with DLSS framegen (control panel cap caps after framegen rather than before), gonna try lossless scaling again now to see if it is different

Wow thank you for this tip! It honestly seems too good to be true, but I am playing Nolvus Skyrim and it works great! I can now run Nolvus at 30fps to save my video card, and this little app bumps it up to a smooth 60!
My room isn’t an oven anymore from my 3080 room heater running at above 80c, amazing!
Wow it actually works
Heyy great video, but why when i trying Ghost of tsushima, when i activate scaling is letterely very lagy? I dont understand what i have to do ingame settings? Thnx
So if you are using the x3 frame gen, you need to cap your fps at the third of your monitor refresh rate? Or am I getting this wrong?
That's correct :)
@@biggie_boss you don't mandatory need if you enable vertical sync in LS because that way LS will only generate frames up to your selected settings (X2 or X3) OR you monitor refresh rate (the first that is reached). So even if you can reach eg 45 fps flat and your monitor is 60 Hz then you will not get x2 (90 fps) or x3 (135 fps) but only the needed to get to 60 fps (less generated images might be wanted for less artifacts for example) but if you cap to half or third of your monitor refresh rate you might get some artifacts but you will also use far less power from your gpu (good for notebooks). matter of tastes and priority :)
Ok I hope you can answer this but, doesn't ENB require you to use fullscreen mode? LS is made to use on windowed mode right? So, should we run the game windowed mode or fullscreen with ENB?
Another question, if I wanna play 60 fps, do we have to enable or disable Vsync in game? Since my monitor doesn't have 120hz.
LS only works in fullscreen borderless mode you can't use it in small windowed mode. It doesn't matter if you disable/enable vsync if you don't have a high refresh monitor and game already had 30fps cap
@@Dregomz02 of course you can use LS on small windowed mode (border or borderless) but you need to enable upscaling to make it fullscreen
great video!! helped me a lot! but i got a little problem. I donwloaded this on top of nolvus, now my game is very bright i and i dont know how to change that. any suggestions?
I have a weird issue where when I turn it on and go back into skyrim, my whole screen just goes black and I can't do anything. I have no idea why.
That is a Skyrim issue. It strugggles with tabbing in and out unless you are running it in borderless windows.
@@SilentAssassin01234 Yeah that's the weird thing though. I went into SSE launcher and changed it to borderless windowed and it still did the black screen thing.
@@ZekeTheSimp0 I would use the SSE Display Tweaks mod. That’s what I use and I can tab out fine

hey i have a stupid question but can i use this together with frame gen for any game that supports frame gen? for example frame gen plus this on cyberpunk?
You can. Latency will increase but it will work
I get weird ghosting artifacts around the edges of the screen. Like it is blurred... Any idea why?
Probably cause its generating frames...
it is normal and cant be avoided with this type of framegen. for me it is not to distracdting, but if it bothers you to much i would refund it, because there is nothing you can do to avoid this.
which is better, dark's upscaler or this?
What hair mod is this???? Or mod list?
How did you get this working with ENB? Getting a black screen
good 1 big man
How does it compare to Puredark’s DLSS with FG?
does this work together with puredarks dlss upscaler?
Since most graphic cards can run this now, what CPU would be recommended?
rtx 4090: 2000 USD
lossless scaling: 7 USD
makes sense from an economic standpoint. this tool is incredible. i was able to achieve 60 fps with pathtracing on in Cyberpunk with a 2080 ti. all because of lossless scaling. it's crazy because that's some cards on par or similar to the 3090 struggle greatly with. with that being said capping my frames to 20 and putting the frame gen mode to 3X it produced alot of warbling and artifacts even making my character's head flicker. but i still think how impressive it is to be able to hit 60 fps with pathtracing regardless on a 1st gen RTX card.
Just leaving a comment here for the algorithm this is too peak to handle... They doing gods work now lmao 😂
Got an RTX 2080 Ti does this program have an option I *can't* use? Cause from what I remember 20-Series cards can't use DLSS 3
it works
I have been trying Lossless scaling on plutonium launcher (free call of duty). One of the games i play mw3 i typically get avg 130fps on medium to low settings. When i use Lossless scaling it literally makes everything worse i go from 130 to 50 or 88 fps and sometimes the lossless app will dissapear and my game will be locked at 60fps when i fullscreen it. Need explanation or help please.
is this better than puredarks upscaler?
thats fucking wild
I tested on 3060 and 60hz monitor. Imo the best results I got with these settings. Nvidia control panel - Vsync ON/Adaptive HALF, low latency mode - ultra. Lossless scaling options - FG LSFG 2.1, X2, Vsync OFF. But input lag is big compared to skyrim upscaler and there are some artifacts around edge of the screen.
The new update makes it so it throws away any frames it generates over the screens refresh rate
For this version my legion go not stable as per previous 2.8.2 driver..
I dont know how to reroll driver
Buying this the second I wake up. 4k everything here I come.
That's not how this works and it won't magically make your games better. You want a baseline of 60fps as this isn't real fps, it adds frames in-between the real ones and is recommended to have a baseline of 60 due to input lag and issues that can arise. It's not something that's going to magically allow you to play games at 4k. Even with the upscaling part ( as it's not 4k then )
So this is just like fram gen. It goes from 30 to 120 but still feels like 30
@@quemsereu2009 yup, it will feel worse technically as it adds input lag. You would need reflex or AMDs anti lag to bring it back down. If lossless has one those then yeah it will feel more like whatever your base frame rate it. So 24 fps would still feel like 24fps, just look like 48 ( but with a ton of artifacts)
Frame generation can't be captured by recording devices but it will be reflected on your monitor when you are playing. Also for any g-sync users like myself you might have to disable g-sync as you need to be within 30 frames of your refresh rate for g-sync to feel good
Yeah I didn't see any changes in frame rate whatsoever
@@WallabyWinters I have the tool and can vouch that it works if you use it correctly
@@WallabyWinters Turn off fullscreen in games
Recording devices you mean hardware? Because softwares do capture it, and the difference is blatant. And it doesn't seem to be working in the video. At least I could see no difference at all
It's pure wizardry is what it is.
I got it a while back for Dragon's Dogma 2 and Cyberpunk 2077, since my GPU doesn't support official frame generation (RTX 3070) and I was surprised by how well it just works with no discernible downside like input lag, or the jittery UI you get from frame generation mods.
Even the upscaler, I've found that looks/performs better than those in-game for most cases.
Really no issues, like input delay or those weird black artifacts? I watched some video about using this with Cyberpunk and crosshaid was blinking entire time
@@daethmer7834 there is *some* but not as much as what I've experienced with mods that do the same. The frame gen mod for Dragons Dogma 2 makes the UI so jittery that it bothers me.
It's not perfect, but it also depends on how low your actual frame rate is.
The lower it is, the more input lag you'll notice and the more artifacts will show. But that's the case with all frame generation.
In my testing, if you're getting 40-50fps minimum, you're fine.
Could someone please help me ? I am using nolvus on an RTX 3070, whenever I activate the scaling, my game just freezes. sounds and everything is fine but I can't tell why it's doing that.
I'm speechless... I saw your video and I thought, there's no way in hell that works.
And it doesn't fucking work.
It does work though. At least for me and a ton of others.
@@biggie_boss Wanted less power consumption from 4090 and tried it in Ghostrunner and Metro Exodus, not the most up to date games, didn't work. Disabled gsync, same result, locked / unlocked fps, same result. It activates alright, for example in Ghostrunner. But power consumption's the same and fps I get is actually less and is muddied with AI frames. So if that's how it works, I guess it works. But why tf would anyone play like that.

It's great when emulating older games which have physics tied to the framerate. Been playing Parasite Eve 1 at 60fps, PE2 at 120fps and 3rd Birthday at 90fps. That way you won't introduce any bugs with physics and game feel much more smooth to play as long as you will be using the gamepad. what hair pack is that?
I have many questions about this software
1- should I turn on vsync for this lossless scalling software in nividia control panel ?
2-i played rdr 1 in emoulator and the fps between 40 to 55,is it good using lossless scalling for these type of fps ?
3-what I do for a game that locked at 30 fps and my monitor 165hz
1) do you have a screen with freesync/gsync? if so then vsync should be disabled since you have VRR
2) it's better to lock your framerate to lowest average framerate otherwise your pacing will be all over the place, maybe lock it to 50-45fps and check if it doesn't drop further. PS game runs much more smooth on Xenia emulator (but it has more bugs)
3) 30fps will triple it to 90fps so it will feel much more smooth but nowhere near your monitor's refresh rate

@@gyro0232 Heavily modded Skyrim is demanding. We are talking about 2K+ mods with 4K textures and extra clutter w/3D LODs. Also a bunch of stuff to make it more "current gen" such as physics and ray tracing
Does this perform better than puredarks FG?
Puredarks needs a certain minimum fps to work well, and does not work for everyone. Also it’s only a 2x at best in my experience. Also occasionally shits the bed requiring a restart at times.
I’ve yet to try this but looks way more promising.
@@RiceCubeTech So I just tried it out and yeah, it's better than Puredarks.

i will try ark survival ascended exited to see the results! thanks man for the video!
I have the program, I like it but I wish there was a .5 frame gen just every third frame to increase smoothness while reducing input latency.
As someone who uses high refresh rate monitors I've come to notice the difference, but it's more of a feel than anything. While frame gen can increase the smoothness of the video it doesn't make it feel different, it still feels like native fps. Just because you generate extra frames doesn't make the input less you still need to wait for the next native frame to generate before the software can add a new interpolated frame.
I don't like playing at 70fps to bump it up to 140fps I don't want to use 45fps to triple it to 140fps that feels horrible. We have all played a game or two at very high frame rate only for the experience to feel bad, you get very high input latency, where the time it takes to register a movement in game takes longer to update the video than low fps. Middle Earth Shadow of War comes to mind, 140fps easy yet it feels horrible, than going threw several forms I find out the game engine has horrible input latency. Something like 17-18ms at 140fps which is horrible generally the input latency should be around 4ms.
I've tried to just leave the frame rate uncapped but it feels horrible, just microstuttering in some of the games I play. I would much prefer to just lock my frame rate to something like 90 and gen it to 120fps. That way the input latency is still low, so the response feels good.
what's the hair mod used in this vid sir?
I think it's one of the fuse or dint hairs. They are free on patreon.
does it work on an RTX 2070 super?
For me PureDark DLSS (quality) + Losseless Scaling FG is the best option (RTX 3070 Laptop). Upscaling from LS is worse in image quality (tested all options, got a little less fps than PD + LS) than PureDark, but PureDark FG is not working on my RTX, so Im getting best from both worlds. Ive noticed some blurring on edges of screen, but acceptable. And yes, input lag is noticable, but ok for me. FPS locked on 48 (144Hz screen), resolution changed from 1920 to 2560 and got lik 80 fps in Riverwood (heavy modded, mostly 2k textures + ENB)
Is this only works for Nvidia RTX-Powered graphic cards?
Or will it also work on Nvidia GTX graphic card?
I think it's RTX and anything that is compatible with FSR. Not sure about GTX
it should work with non rtx cards since lossless scaling uses its own frame gen rather than nvidia's
So I can utilize it with my GTX 1650 Super?
@@ranggafirdaus8932 i just tested it on my 1660 super and got a stable 120 fps on my heavily modded skyrim (Locked the game to 40 and used the x3 option), there is some not so noticeable imput lag but holy fuck, literally free fps for non modern gpu users like us
