1. There was a bit of controversy about Pattinson being cast due to his role in Twilight. Though, he has built an impressive reputation over the years in art house movies like Good Time and The Lighthouse.
2. Matt Reeves is the director and is best known for directing the last two entries in the Planet of the Apes trilogy and Cloverfield. What you might not know is that his first major project was creating the college drama Felicity with JJ Abrams in 1998.
