I’m tired too. I felt you on being tired. I’ve been natural for 10 to 12 years and I’m 55 and I can’t keep fighting my hair every day. I have to go to work and I’m tired of keep trying to figure out what to do with my hair every day. I’m at the point now that I just keep my hair braided all the time. I used to have a jerry curl back in the day and this is bringing back memories 😊
Thank you ❤️ Yes, so did I. I had to go back to what I know worked for me! I am so happy I finally did. I wish I would have done it sooner but that’s alright I am here now and loving it. I have received so many compliments. I recommend scheduling a consultation with a beautician that specializes in this application. I had to wait a few months before I could get it done because my natural hair was that damaged.
I am 61 and I feel ya on being tired. I went from my natural hair to wave nouveau and I love it. I couldn't do all the work with natural hair anymore. I loved my natural hair, but just too exhausting.
Sorry for the delayed response and thank you for watching. You would be surprised at the number of people who still continued to get curls since the 80’s ❤️
Thanks so much for posting these videos. I am thinking of getting one in few months so yesss!!! I am going to watch your videos for a few months to see how you progress. I pray your hair continues to stay healthy and grow fabulously. Thanks again and please keep posting so I can see your Wave Nouveau journey!
Thank you so much for watching ❤️ I definitely will continue to post. It will be one year next month and I can’t wait to get my re-touch. I need to get me one of those T-shirts to begin tracking my hair growth. I am planning on creating a video with all the products I have been using so stay tuned!
You should never put heat in a Wave Nouveau, nor wash it before the straightener. I started doing this wave when they first came out over thirty years ago.
I got the Wave Nouveau two years ago after being natural for five years... worse thing I could do to my hair...here it is 2022 and my hair is still falling out even after cutting most of it out... hope you are doing well with yours.
Oh no!!! I am so sorry to hear that 🙁 I do understand everyone’s experience is different. So far I am going strong with no regrets. I can’t believe next month it will be 1 yr😍 I am going to have to do a 1 yr anniversary video❤️
You may want to look at your iron and vitamin d levels, any type of meds you have to take like for hypertension etc. because that can cause hair to break.
I had the exact same results from the WN that I got a few years back. So, it's a no for me. I didn't know they were still producing this product. It looks really pretty tho
so basically she relaxed your hair first and then immediately gave you a curly perm? it looks great and I guess you can just relax the roots as it grows out. I'm wondering about a double process like this making a lot of hair break off. did that happen?
Thank you so much for watching❤️ Yes, that is correct, the first phase is similar to getting a relaxer. Your hair is double processed but unlike a relaxer I am not going through that process each month. Some choose to wait 4-6 months. I will get my hair re-touched every 3-4 months. So far the only breakage I experienced was due to me using a ponytail holder. It kept pulling my hair out. I will be posting a video soon of my re-touch.
Thank you! I haven’t seen too many current videos regarding a positive review of the Wave Nouveau so I thought I would share my journey. Thank you so much for watching. Please subscribe to my channel and share with others who may be considering getting one❤️

Thank you for watching💕 My hair is washed and deep conditioned every month. I will then need to add moisture back into my hair. I like using Care Free Curl Gold Activator to bring back moisture after each wash. I als have a video showing me getting my hair washed. When you get a moment you can check it out ❤
Thank you so much for watching 💕 Maintenance is so simple and has not changed. I keep my hair moisturized using wave nouveau hair care products and a few other products for curls (video coming soon). I get my hair deep conditioned once a month. I will use a plastic cap after I get my hair washed and after a retouch only for the first few days but no longer than a week. Then I just put a hair bonnet on at night. I love how easy it is to get ready each morning. It’s truly a no fuss hairstyle ❤️
Did it burn at all? I’m trying to think back to when I had relaxers. I would not be able to bear a chemical service right after having my hair washed and blow dried.
Mine did not burn at all either. However it is a chemical and if left on for too long l am sure it would have the same results as a relaxer that was left on too long.
Oh nooo... from what I understand, coloring curly permed hair is supposed to be more damaging than coloring relaxed hair. Maybe olaplex would help though
Thank you so much for watching. For my initial appointment I paid over $100 dollars. I believe it was $120 or $130 I can’t remember but it was expensive but now it’s only $65 for every retouch.
Great question! I definitely try to make sure I keep my hair moisturized. It is not dripping wet.
