I was hoping to get some recommendations for pc vr but you mostly focused on console and wireless 😢
Well there are a lot of different companies that are making pcvr headsets but most of them i wouldn't recommend. For me personally i would go for PSVR 2 as a PCVR headset with the adapter since it is much better and cheaper on nearly every aspect compared to its competitors.

did a demo of the apple vision pro yesterday. Yeah, the resolution is insane, interface is clean and eye tracking is responsive. honestly from my perspective its not heavy, but perhaps because ive used headsets since 2017. I dont like the passthrough brightness much or the fov, but its definitely the cleanest
if you are a vr veteran nothing will really surprise you on the vision pro, but its crazy to think we are at this level and the resolution is like this

@@Camlo434 Coming from Quest 2 and Quest 3, the gestures/hand tracking on the AVP are amazing. VR headsets that require controllers to navigate effectively should not be called “VR”, tbh.

The biggest problem with the apple vr headset is it is Apple... don't get me wrong, I'm not an Apple hater, but I don't own anything else Apple. Why would I buy it? Especially since it is so damn expensive!

It egregiously priced. 3500 dollars could build you a very VERY high end pc which has way more practical applications. Why would you throw that money at a headset unless you’ve got money to burn. That thing could literally open my third eye and I wouldn’t buy it for that price.

Just got the VR2 and was thinking about returning it due to the small game library until I just learned from this vid that you can buy a steam adapter!
I have the Quest3 and the Pico4. The Quest is just better in every respect. But I won't give my Pico4 away. It is still a great headset that I use daily.

@@feanorcfw I use them often for fitness and after an hour I just put the Pico or Quest on the shelf where I recharge them and take the other for watching movies...
Why would you use the other daily if the quest is better?
@@AEONIC_MUSIC The Quest has Beat Saber and the Pico4 has a clone, Mutrix, which in my opinion has the better features and I like it more than the original Beat Saber. So that's why I play this on my headset. It is also a more comfortable headset, so for most of my PCVR games I use the Pico4.
The Quest has the better graphics and I have a few programs on it that I don't have on my Pico4.
Watching movies on both headsets is awesome.

I'm starting my first job soon and I'm getting a fairly decent amount of money from it. Was wondering what your recommendations would be for VR headsets? I'm looking for PCVR primarily and I wouldnt mind having a cable. Money isnt an issue since I dont mind saving.
go for the meta quest 3 you can play pcvr games with no cable and with cable and theres also hand tracking and it doesnt cost 1k
If you want pcvr with cable then the PSVR2 is a good option now that it has a PCVR adapter and the price isn't that bad either and it has a nice Oled screen. The other pcvr headsets out there are really expensive and most of the time not worth it
even tho i had to skip through all the meta quests...you did inform me enough to make a choice on a purchase. so thank you. i did not know about the PC connection device the psvr2 had. that makes it a VERY viable option.

What was the point of this video if you're just going to skip all the headsets in PCVR category!? Valve Index, although considered one of the best VR headsets, isn't available on most countries! And bigscreen although nice is a custom fit so you cannot share the headset with anyone else i.e kids, then you just ignore HTC Vive? Pimax variants? You also don't mention that Quest 2/3 CAN function as a PCVR as well! And it has different method of doing so as well!! If you're going to make a "BEST X OF Y TIME" Videos.. Please put in some more though into what you're doing... This is a waste of PCVR people's time.
I have a ps5 and i want to buy a vr headset should i get psvr 2 or meta quest 3? My budget is 500 dollars and my priorities are gaming mostly and some movie watching if its possible; i dont have a powerful pc so i could only rely on my ps5, can i use a meta quest 3 with my ps5? No you cannot use quest 3 with ps5. I would say meta quest 3 but if you just want to play ps5 vr games I would go with the psvr
sadly you cant use the quest 3 with the ps5. But unless you want to play the psvr 2 exclusives I would recommend the meta quest 3 more.
Just bought the PS5 VR2 not realizing it's not fully wireless....how is one expected to use with cords under your feet? not to mention unless you have PS located behind you there is no way to run the cable without obstructions......didn't even put it on when I saw the cord. yeah the cable is one of the main points I wish could be taken away from psvr 2 to make it the best vr headset but sadly it is not possible. I am happy you enjoyed the video. stay awesome

@@VRelity Well, I got the Ultra last week already. Initially a little disappointed, but now I use it more than my Quest3. The improvements over the Pico4 are clear and noticeable. 3d pass through is so much better. I like the controllers. Sturdy and a bit heavier than those of the Quest3 and without the rings like those of the Pico4. I logged in with the same account and only one game I couldn't use stand-alone anymore because the headset isn't compatible: Mutrix, the very good beat Saber clone. But I could buy it on Steam, so at least at home I can play it.

@@VRelity One outstanding feature is the possibility to take 3D pictures and spatial videos. Picture is sharper than my Samsung Note 20 takes!
The absolute proprietary Ness of PlayStation turns me off 1000% don’t wanna be stuck in their particular ecosystem, so that one is off the table

pimax is know for having the biggest indeed and most other vr headsets out now have about the same compared to each other

good question I think quest 3 on battery saving mode or psvr2 since it won't need a battery charge when connected

If you have a gaming PC I personally recommend the index, or if you want to go cheaper/standalone the quest 3
I think the quest 3 can be a great option in general since you can change the setting a lot for use in seated position.

Funny how no one talks about the longevity of those battery operated headsets. Just like electric cars, no one ever say how long these batteries will last and how expensive they will be when replaced. In the case of those headsets it's probably impossible to change them so when the battery can no longer be charged (and this is not a IF it's a when) you will just have to simply BUY another headset. BATTERIES HAVE A FINITE LIFE so many recharge can be made and once this is reached .... then what, what happens to that marvellous resolution that still could work but ... well it needs new batteries that are unfortunately sealed inside the headset. The more time you spend on it, the more you recharge the less it will last (1-to 3 years max) and those cables that keeps it charged as you play are like a hole in your battery life leaking it's life like a bullet hole
actually most people use rechargeable battery head straps which doubles your battery life on a single charge so that lets you play 4 hours non stop for a pretty long time

Quest 2 is out of stock everywhere and the quest 3 is very expensive. I'm kind of stuck here... I want to play VR on my PC, standalone is not a necessity but would be awesome. I've wanted to get a VR for a very long time now and haven't been able to decide on any headsets.
I have heard rumors about Meta developing a new budget friendly headset but nothing really confirms it from what i can find.

I have had Meta Quest 2 and 3. But sold the 3 like under a month after back to the store and solg the 2 as well. The reason being my eyes cant handle the scren that near and i just dont think passthrough is worth it on the 3. so ill be waiting for the 4.
Lets hope that the quest 4 will have better passthrough in that case
