- The last of my videos from before Marks passing.
Future videos will be more up to date, it's been a hard few weeks so videos have not been possible.
I am determined to live life to the full from this year forward, loads of new stuff to come, please let me know of anything you'd like to see me fish, I will try to cover as much as I can, distance permitting.
Big trips are planned for May and September.

I was at the cliff a few weeks back and there was a 6 rats living under the ledge, they definitely know where the food is lol, all the best for 2024. I have still not caught a codling and I'm well jealous, keep at it ❤

Great video it's fishes better on a southerly if you want to learn more about sea fishing try joining a local fishing club Blyth. Bedlington. The ship newbigg are all good clubs..

Hi Danielle, I don’t want to sound too preachy but I noticed when you were baiting up that you were using regular elastic. There is an alternative called latex that is degradable it is more friendly to the environment etc. The most popular brand is Tronixpro & I would recommend that you get the heavy one which is still very fine compared to regular elastic. I really enjoy your videos and you are learning every time you go fishing. Thank you for sharing your videos with us ❤️🐟

Great to see a dedicated Fisherlady giving it her best and doing well. Never really known why but you my lady are a rare breed!? 🤷♂️ Probably something to do with cold, wet and miserable days and nights standing still and dealing with minging bait fingers all over our sandwich handling fingers 🤣
Rockling are great bait for cod. You'll catch 3 and 5 beard rockling... I think thays the two of the species you'll get from memory.
I've recently started using bait needles, I have two types :
Standard bait needle
Bait prong (not sure if that's the correct technical term), it's got 2 or 3 prongs/needles and a handle which is great for building muscle and other soft baits in to a manageable hook bait.
They're cheap, give them a go 👍

Haha yes, those reasons are enough to put a lot of people off. I do see other women from time to time but usually with partners. I haven’t minded doing some sessions by myself, in fact, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it. I’ll miss Mark immensely though, he’ll always by by my side encouraging me on - he was very much the idea behind the channel.
I will look at the baiting up items, I’ve seen a few other anglers using them, looks less messy on the sandwich fingers 😆🫣🙏👍🐟

Rats carry Weil's disease, so carry a small bottle of anti-viral hand sanitiser & especially always use it before eating or drinking anything. It can make you very ill. Ray & the others are right, you are strong, well done Hinny ! Also just do the trips you want to do & be yourself, you have a flair for it.

I do carry a hand gel with me and use it frequently while fishing, but I’ll be extra vigilant when I see rats around now.

Went fishing last Sunday to crag point didn’t dare try to get down was far to slippy in the dark
Yeh it’s far too dangerous in the wet, that mud is like an ice rink. Always best to err on the side of caution 👍🐟

I still have that rod, it’s my favourite- it cost £15 with reel included (I chucked the reel) I can’t fault the rod.

Tip light is a Breakaway Glowstick, purchased from Billy’s in North Shields. Really good, but have to watch for line getting wrapped on it sometimes - might just be me though 🙏🐟👍

I only ever fish where it feels safe to do so, I’ve always been into the outdoors, hiking, climbing, kayaking, windsurfing, I’m pretty deft on my feet and keep extremely fit which helps I think when venturing onto such places, I always take great care 🙏🐟👍
