- Well, what can I say !
What an amazing few days I had at this spot at the top North West of Scotland.
Fishing with various lures, I had the biggest fish I have ever caught ... plus the one that got away - my landing net wasn't long enough to reach down from the crag I was perched upon.
I will be definately going back to this mark in the future for a good few days of fishing.

Awesome video Danielle my granddaughter uses a pink lure all the time and out fishes me most of the time surprised u r not wearing a PFD fishing in locations that u r keep them coming. Happy catching from Australia Nick

Yeh they seem to really like the pink on the lures. I will be purchasing some form of pfd as I’m doing more and more fishing on the rocks 👍🎣🐟

Lovely fishing great place well done,, just a little tip for returning the pollock you can speer them head first into the water from a fair height and they go away fine 👍🏴cheers ,, ps I somehow managed to put this comment in the wrasse video 🥴

Great fishing up there Danielle, some lovely pollock. When returning them try spearing them head first into the water and the rush of oxygenated water rushing through their gills will nearly always revive them. Super fishing ❤️🐟

@fishinghinny 👍 great fisherman spirit that's good. I'm mostly catch for the table and practice catch and release on the small ones ,very large ones for breeding and conservation & also practice catch and release according to regulations.
We have to conserve our fish . Nice one
Fantastic pallmet fished for many years ,lots of fast bullock ,leccy fences big climbs etc but worth it ,why not use a nice carp rod I us old bssh hooligans to bully em ❤

Nice pollack Danielle, can i ask where you got the blue and pink jellytails ?. They are lethal for the bigger pollack, but i can't seem to find them anywhere.

Quick question, where did you get your landing net from and how much does it cost?.
I got that from Boyes, about £15, it’s got a good reach on it - just not quite long enough for when I was up on that ledge though 🤦🏻♀️
Lidl have some in just now for £12.99, not sure what those ones are like though 👍🎣🐟

Dunstan Steads car park, it’s a slightly shorter walk than from Craster, however it does get very busy at times with walkers and people visiting the beach and castle.

Really wish I’d weighed it now Dazz, after watching the footage back it was only out of the water for maybe 45 seconds, but at the time it felt so much longer and I was worried about getting it back in safely 👍🎣🐟
