Guadalupe National Park

October of 2024 we set off to complete a bucket list trip for me. The kids and I hiked Guadalupe Peak. It was a great accomplishment for the kids and I. I did some planning, and with luck the weather was near perfect. I am really proud of this trip, we really supported each other and worked together to make this trip happen.
A bit about the hike:
it is rigorous, the first hour or so is up...steps and switchbacks
there isn't really any place to use the restroom on the trail
there are some shaded areas
be patient and take all the pictures you think you need and then take some more
take your time, up and down was about 8 hours for us

Looks like a fun hike! I definitely want to spend more time exploring the Guaplupe Mountains NPS.
