You aren't in Guadalupe Mountains NP, you're in Whites City! Not even the same state! 😄 (Joking) Good video Laura. Your park pass does cover that $10 fee. So if someone influenced you to pay that on top of having your park pass then I guess just feel good about your donation to the park. That trail is getting insane. Didn't used to be that many people doing it. Good job on your state highpoint. We also do highpointing but are only at 9. Getting to 50 is a slow process for us.
@@LauraLeanne we had planned to do it over our daughter’s spring break but it was raining and that wouldn’t have been enjoyable. It’s definitely in our list. We did Palo Duro Canyon 👍👍
Great video and hike! Glad I watched your video before I made the trip out. I wouldn’t have had any cash on me. You got yourself another subscriber! Looking forward to your future videos.
I live in texas myself and the guadalupe mountains are about a good 10 hours from me since i live in deep east texas. But only question i have is it straight forward to reach the park itself? I know the reception is not great but i am not trying to get lost either trying to make it there. Great video!
I drove from East Texas coming back and had reception the entire way! I always recommend putting on "directions" on alltrails and it will bring you to the trailhead. Even just outside the park I nearly had full reception :)
@@LauraLeanne I appreciate it!! I was kinda worried about losing connection once i get close to whites city. But your comment has reassured me and i am looking to do this hike asap! Thank you. Safe travels 😁

How cool!!!
Are there some expose areas with drops? How wide is those trails?
@MaryLou-jv2zp nothing too crazy for drops but a bit near the top. Wide enough for people to pass each other safely.
What a great hike you had!
Thank you for this!
Glad it was helpful! Are you heading out to do it anytime soon?

Desde un tiempo a esta parte, siempre he querido conocer ese lugar. ¿No viste ningún puma?

Planning on doing this.
Good luck!

Another peak off the list!
That’s a cool goal, that you’re trying to hike the highest mountain in all 50 states. How are you getting there, are you on a road trip?
I'm at 10 now on the road. Slowly getting there :) Mainly have the West Coast ones so far so those are the harder ones!
I enjoy your UA-cam channel so very much I'm glad I describe to it I have a huge crush on you you're so sweet
