So glad to hear the original composer is back, the OST was amazing and added so much to the feeling of exploration. Walking into the Hallowed Marsh expecting a miserable swamp zone and instead being greeted by that amazing soundtrack was one of the highlights of the game for me.
I just started playing definitive version, first time player. Love this game, almost stopped playing but found merit within and it paid off. Glad a 2nd is on the way.

If you watch carefully in the trailer there is a character dual weilding daggers in a reverse grip, they flip it forward for an attack, then flip it back to reverse. Looks like you'll get your wish!
@pentagram4872 This is true. I can't wait for this game, I was excited for some other titles like Monster Hunter and Dragons Dogma 2, but now I honestly couldn't care less for those games.

I work with French from France everyday and they don't have the same accent. Don't take me wrong we all have an accent, was just surprised. I watch a lot of non native English speaker UA-camr and it's fun to guess where they are from with the accent. Always funny to hear good French since I'm french Canadian myself.

My problem with outward combat was not clunkiness, it was more the fact that it seemed like it revolved around trading hits, unless you were a mage, gunslinger, heavy or had a combo that would just kill in a few swings. Enemies had unlimited stamina and had attack animations that they usually can immediately dodge or hyperarmor your attacks right after they finish there attacks, with some enemies, I notice would literally wait for you to attack, then start swinging. I got used to the combat but I felt like I was locked I'm to playing every encounter the same, Appling Buffs and Bulldoze though or use range and cheese. I loved the fact of preparing for a fight with buffs, but felt that some that were overpowered were actually necessary. I want to feel like I'm not cheesing or just using powerful things to win. Oh, and I know this has nothing to do with combat, but for the love of god, please change enchanting.
well to be honest i do not really agree with you even though i see where you are comming from. I guess you will have to wait and see but i do not think the core mechanics will change that much, more like a smoothed out version of them.

I know this is probably wishful thinking, but I hope they do something like Witcher 3, where you get an option to insert your previous decisions of the older games, and npcs would react accordingly, not assuming you the same character just from a story stand point.
Well to be honest i kinda wish they implement something like this too, though outward 1's choices were hardly important enough for it to make much changes in outward 2.
The only thing we know is that lost and prayer will come out first, then witherbloom and the outward 2. Nothing more precise than this. We wil have to wait to know more.

It is very unlikely. However there are most likely going to be mods for that.
For me the best part is the change to UE5 since my pc has a problem with Unity for some reason which made it impossible to play the game as of late
