    I'm an RN. Here's my opinion ....You are going through an illness. See how you feel in a day or two. I would seriously consider changing your mind and eating to satiety. Then, once you get your hyperthyroidism under control, then you can do that more data-driven plan.

    I did keto for a couple years and loved it, was able to lose a lot of weight but still struggled with hunger. I even thought I had Leptin resistance. I eventually started feeling tired and having no energy again. Tried everything from fasting to carnivore. Wasn’t until I added starchy carbs back in to my diet thats what helped me to feel satiated. I’ve also been hearing lot about low carb can be a form of stress for some. Why some women lose their cycle. The more stress, the more carbs we need. Loving these Coaching calls. Thank you for sharing them with us ❤

    Have you ever thought of just going full blown strict carnivore? I know lots of people will kill me for this but the toxins found in plants and the fact your body is not built to digest them causes most of the problems be experience. This includes hormone problems. I don't see how it would hurt to try

      Nili, I can relate & right now am working through the same feelings 5 days post op spine surgery. I am documenting my post surgical, healing journey on my channel too. Hope you can tune in. I fear carbs like I fear God.(Satan has no power over me) My previous self and WOE did not cause me to have nerve & disk problems I realize. But in my heart of hearts, I trust that the proper human diet is paramount for this sort of bodily healing albeit, I gotta admit, there was a period where wanted to be a Dr. Baker miracle 😮 statistic. Another thought is for me, it's mindset & lean on my faith always. I used to justify Culver's Custard monthly. Moderator I am not! Abstainer for sure!

      It would be great reset/elimination method
      Just eats lots fat for hunger
      Crisped up fat is delish! As is butter; honestly lol

    I found this in a blog by a UA-camr Mary’s Nest ……
    “Not everyone should rush out and start making and eating L. reuteri cultured dairy. As always, if you are pregnant, nursing, or thinking of feeding this to children, be sure to speak with your healthcare practitioner first.
    Also, since L. reuteri may be associated with stimulating the immune system, if you have an auto-immune disease or have a related illness, you will want to check with your healthcare practitioner to determine if this type of cultured dairy would be appropriate for you to consume, or if it is best avoided.”
    Is this true? I made the yogurt a couple of days ago, now I’m afraid to eat it, I have hypothyroidism.

    I’m definitely interested in how everything works out for you. A thought I have is, what if the daily abundant carbs start to prevent the meat’s nutrients from being absorbed & utilized, therefore causing new issues eventually. This is a “carnivore” perspective I suppose, and I realize this is N=1. Thank you for continuing to share the ups and downs. ❤🤞🏼

    I know exactly what you are saying about being hungry when you have an over active thyroid. I've been there and I've eaten 2 burgers and felt like I ate air. No matter what you do you will feel hungry so until you get your thyroid under control you do what you need to do bc it will all level out.

    Go straight clean carnivore, only animal meat and fat, and water. Bonus would be is OMAD included. I never crave any food during my 24 hour daily fast. I never feel hungry and always have energy.

    Before I was diagnosed with Graves Disease I started having mental issues and could eat any man under the table. I couldn't fall asleep and wake up feeling like I had been ran over by atruck. It was bad. I had to have beta blockers to slow my heart rate down for a month before I had thyroid ablation. I gained 30 lbs in a month . I had to learn my hunger cues all over again. I say eat till your full and get your thyroid under control first. Your dealing with enough mental and physical.
    Forgot to mention that mine was so bad it had shut down my reproductive system.

    Each body is different. The thing about perspective being reality confuses me. Because I believe it makes it so? If I believe I am a furrie, maybe like a cat, even though I am actually a human, does my perspective actually mean I am truly a cat?

    We would be wise to remember that gaining weight is a survival mechanism. It is directly related to food availablity. Which is why the binge/fast or feast/fast cycle is ingrained in our DNA. Humans, just like every species on the planet have been doing this for millennia. It is directly related to our environment and the seasons. Bears hibernate in winter for a reason - food scarcity. So they feast the rest of the year in preparation.
    We have lost site of this natural cycle due to our modern civilization. It is the difference between millions/thousands/hundreds of years. We've only had food security for hundreds of years and it has corrupted our natural patterns. Not to mention the questionable nutritional value of that secure food!

    Didn’t you say that this problem was due to taking too much iodine? Then won’t it correct on its own in time?
