Great video. Aviation and philosophy are two of my favorite subjects and you have blended them masterfully.

I love it. And I totally get what you're saying. I've been living by life's terms, letting the crap go, and letting the Universe take over. I can't be any happier.

This video is rad. Thanks for making it!
I sat in the hangar today staring at my 170B after flying it. A money pit. A machine that has challenged me physically and emotionally since I got it with a dripping wet ppl 2 years ago. I pondered the nature of flying small airplanes and whether it was worth it. I’m honestly not sure. But I know I cannot give it up.

What a glorious aircraft! At the least... being a steward of that history is worth it, much less the flying experiences. Look up!

This is an audio essay backed with a phenomenal soundtrack that should be taught to young people, regardless of aviation status. "You have to start with a plan." And, yes, sometimes things don't go your way, but an obstacle is not an end. This is inspirational.

I set a goal to get my Commercial in 2023... Haven't even studied for it! I have like 3 weeks left so there's still a chance.

Yes, the best way in life of flying is to be a better pilot.

Great recap! Maybe 2024 for instruments, but who knows what it will bring?! I told my wife today my resolution for 2024 is commercial and CFI and she appropriately challenged me and asked, “is that a resolution or a goal?” This was a timely confirmation that resolutions, goals, or even dreams are only ideas. It’s up to us to act, no matter the direction it takes us

Any details on how/why the Piper got blown onto her roof? Insurance fixed or replaced? Enjoyed your video! Wayne (DA40 KSBA)

It was a plane I was renting at the time in a kind of time share manner, and it was flipped and totaled during a gradient wind storm event - the tie down loop snapped and it tore off the rest. Glad you enjoyed it thanks!
