- My new best friend. Last night I even got to stroke him but no camera so no proof. The hand feeding bit starts a little way in. So don't give up too soon. I have been hand feeding these lovely creatures for about 3 years but this is the first time that I have captured it on film. It is not something I can do every day as they don't have set meal times and I am not sitting out in the cold waiting for him to arrive. There is food for him all evening but hand feeding has to wait for me to see him from the kitchen.
That's amazing Chris -- and satisfying. Mind you, those claws and canines can inflict some damage! Great result :)
Wow, next thing you know the badger will be sleeping at the foot of your bed, best guard dog ever.

Okay Chris.... oh, let's have a talk. I have two things to discuss with you sir. That I don't know if you've noticed. Did you by any chance see the teeth on that thing? And here's the second thing. Did you by any chance notice the texture of whatever you were feeding him?, and the diameter of whatever you was feeding him?, and the color of whatever you were feeding him???? I'm not a rocket scientist. You know that much as we've talked you figured out that I'm just a dumb old truck driver.... But THEY ARE..... very similar IN the texture color and length of your FINGERS sir!! Not to mention they smell exactly like what you're feeding him!!😱😱 I don't know that that's a good thing???🤯🤯 in Kansas here where I'm from we have a very old saying if it looks like a 🦆, Walks Like A 🦆, flies like a 🦆, quacks like a 🦆, then blasted have a sky by all means and pluck it needed! I'm thinking that Badger might have the same idea about your fingers, sir :-) LOL you are crazy! I watched a video when I first seen your Badger, of two Badgers fighting. It was not pretty.....
Your badgers across the pond must be more civilized than their North American cousins. Hand feeding one of ours might just mean losing your hand...and your arm...and maybe your face if they're feeling peckish.
