mad respect man cause you're always one of the few escooter-tubers who actually isn't too conservative to show what these machines are capable of.
While many others review the power-scooters with way too much caution, as soon as I watch your's it's almost like I'm watching a different scooter despite it's the same.

@@TheLillianYoung Great point. Hyper Scooters will probably always be my thing but one day soon I think I will eventually give an EUC a try. I've had my eyes on the new S20 but I'm waiting for reviews to drop after its release. Nothing beats experience of riding PEVs. Portability and storage convienance is not a big factor for me, and being an older guy I would rather ride a scooter with less maneuverability than an EUC to limit the possibility of potential accidents. If it wasn't for seeing so many cut-offs and face plants, I'm sure I would have joined the EUC community by now. For now, I'm just exploring the next level of my hyper scooter experience as I enjoy my DX2 while waiting for my Rion Thrust to be built. Thanks for the awesome feedback.

Wow. So this scooter is just everything we imagined and more. I'm so excited to try one. I'm so proud of Michael and Nami for taking the burden of advancing our sport because very few others seem to be putting in any effort towards full innovation. This scooter and its pure sinewave 50 amp controllers looks like a ride on a magical dream carpet. Its going to take a while for someone to top this. Rion is nice and all, but its not nearly as rugged and flexible with terrain.

Love how the range, how starting power is individually customizable for each wheel, and of course the built in horn and headlight so I can keep it looking clean without a lot of stuff bolted on.

That's a wicked fast scooter with a lot of great features & not much wrong. After watching your other video riding in traffic those rear turn signals are essential. You can always add a rechargeable bicycle headlight that attaches to to the handlebars or stem. Also a good light on your helmet or a headlamp will help. I was concerned about the screws that came loose on their own & the bottom needs a beefed up skid plate. I think the EUC is better for the 💵 money. Right Way! 👍☮️🌟

Looks like the front control arms are too short, if it is longer than the point of where the stem pole bottom, you will have a very nice caster angle, that will prevent wobble and increase stability. Excellent review but I do have some reservations about the design of some of the components. The front end reminds me of the design of the Zero 10X and that is definitely not a good thing. You even said yourself that it needs a steering damper and I think that you underplayed a serious flaw in this scooter. As we both know the design of the Kaabo Wolf Warrior front end is probably the best in the business. It sucks for transporting but it’s the best for setting up ONCE and then just riding for years. Also this beast does look like it has some fit and finish issues. I would like to see what one of these looks like new and clean. Power and brakes appear to be amazing. I definitely want to see more on this model. Headlight also looks super lame for a scooter with this type of speed so it’s a beautiful piece that needs to go to finishing school.

    • @davidt8274
      @davidt8274 3 роки тому +1

wolf has 2 very heavy stems, shorter in height, and hinges from the deck. It is held together by the thread of a screw. If that screw strips, it will fold, and you're dead.
When folded, the wolf is 150cm long (can't fit into a standard dualcab ute tub vertcally or horizontally, you have to put it at a diagnonal, which means you can't transport anything else of significance). It sucks.
Other reasons why the wolf sucks - if you actually rode one.
Wolf actually isn't that stable at high speeds ether, you have to put in some effort to control the scooter, which is why after 30 km, you fatigue, compared to 70km and still being fine on the burn e. To really get stable, regardless of what e-scooter you ride, you will need a damper (this is due to lack of camber of the wheel and steering, you can look it up on youtube, it is why it doesn't self right to center or automatically turn to steer against falling like a bicycle, seriously, look it up)
The wolf GT which was built to match the burn-e, has the controllers mounted on the stem, which raises the center of gravity some more, and it still lacks cooling unlike the burn-e, is still slower than the burn e in acceleration, and has much less range despite due to square vs sine wave controller difference in efficiency.
The charge ports are on the side, and it means you have to park a certain way to access your charge ports, unlike the burn e which you could go from either side.
Lastly, the wolf is supposedly built for off road, but as some off road enthusiasts have demonstrated, all E-scooters suck at going off road due to stem strain (the longer the stem, the worse it is< it is like bending a piece of plastic forwards and back til it snaps), they eventually break, this means the Nami's carbon fiber single stem will die relatively quickly compared to the Wolf, which has a shorter stem, and doubled, so if you buy it for 'off roading', you really should've gotten an e-mountain bike instead.
This is why the Burn-e is better than the wolf.
And back to the point of why the wolf's front end sucks - all scooters that hinge the front wheels SUCK, period, you lose the entire scooter if anything happens to the joint, immediately. It is even worse in the wolf's case due to how it is a screw instead of a full bar (it is a tiny threaded bar with a locking nut, so the force is place on the threads of the screw - the worst kind of holding mechanism amongst all the hinged wheel scooters). So, no, please have an objective view of things, they need to change the hinge mechanism of the wolf, it's terrible. (the cheapest kind of car jack is obviously a screw based one, and when it fails, it strips everything and whatever is under = dead, THIS is the holding mechanism of a kaabo wolf). The locking pin of the wolf also tends to dissapear into the oblivion when it comes loose on some really crappy trail, so people end up replacing it with a bolt and nut.
2 stems may be good, but you should've brought up the front end of the zero 11x (after the update to the C-main arm), no flex, double stemmed, hinged at stem NOT front of deck, that can be considered the current best in terms of front ends (not counting the arm failure of course)

The possibility of the battery expanding doesn’t sound too promising granted you know how to take care of scooters. So this has to be a manufacture issue. And the exposed wiring in the back. Everything else seem like it can be fixed via customization. This is a promising looking scooter but at this price range I would expect a bit more. More as in the back light attentiveness in the daytime, the screen brightness in the daytime, front headlight and the molding that occurred at the bottom. It feels like I could take that extra 1k and turn the kaboo wolf king into a better scooter via customization. Dope review sir 🦾

The only thing I find abit weird is the front end. It looks like they have put the forks on backwards. But says that it seems to work. I’ve just built a electric mountain board and the battery I built aswel does 30miles of range very impressed . Great review bud. You will have to get a little led light bar for the front. Just subbed 👍🏽😎

Solid review. I question the water resistance rating with all those exposed wires up front. Also sad to see that they resorted to a single socket head screw to prevent the wheel from turning 180° on a $5000 scooter. 🤔

@@StreamerTV No the estimated range on this is 100 miles. Actual range when ridden hard and in cold weather is 48.5 miles. That, the sign wave controllers, the construction, insane acceleration, and top speed is what sets this one apart.
