    I think it is the best electric ⚡️ scooter on the market!
    It’s a lot of money 💰 a lot !!
    At the same price you can buy a motorcycle 🏍
    But I’ve ordered 2 days ago from
    Fastride and I hope 🤞 it will be on Italy next week !!!

    Some corrections on your review from a Nami owner:
    The scooter is no longer sold, for almost a year now, with the 35Ah battery that supposedly had a range of 100miles. All new Nami's are now sold with a 32Ah or smaller battery. Their largest battery is now advertised as 90miles but in reality I can't get mine to more than 35miles with the 32Ah. Their smaller battery versions sold in Europe will do less than that.
    The grips on the Nami are not ergonomic. In fact they are pretty thin and have no wrist support. They will cramp your hands especially when you can't use your opposing thumb to hold on because it's busy with the thumb throttle so you have to grip much harder. First thing I did was get 740mm bars and ergonomic grips with wrist support. A trigger finger or twist grip throttle would be a huge improvement.
    The front headlight delivers very poor visibility when riding at night. It puts out a thin horizontal bar of light. It should be more floody. I replaced it with some motorcycle flood lights. The turn signals and headlight buttons are very hard to press especially with gloves. I replaced those with better buttons from Amazon.

      Thanks for watching and your comments.
      1. We had one of the first models from an early batch, hence the 35Ah battery. So, the review is correct in this regard. You are, however, also correct that now the NAMI comes with a 32Ah battery.
      2. The handgrip comfort is subjective. We've reviewed many scooters and found the ones on the NAMI comfortable. This is down to their almost squidgy (can't think of a better description) and grippy feel, as opposed to hard rubber.
      3. Again, lighting is subjective. When we consider how the headlight performs out of our 140+ database of scooters, it is in the top 5%.

    I'm going to order mine in a couple weeks very excited, however the main concern I have is the shipping. I've seen quite a few scooters that have come damaged due to the packaging. I would hate to spend that kind of money and get a damaged scooter. I know FFR has great customer service, but the hassle of waiting for parts and fixing right out of the box. Great video btw!

    • @ElectricScooterInsider
      @ElectricScooterInsider  3 роки тому +2

      Great to hear and thanks for the feedback, appreciate it. I also saw the shipping problems but I have to say that my unit came in perfect condition. The box was packed out with cardboard to fill empty space (also much easier to clean up rather than polystyrene). I agree with you about FFR. Ride and Glide for buyers in the UK are very good, too.

      @@ElectricScooterInsider I actually went ahead and ordered my Nami today. I actually called FFR about my concern with the scooter arriving damaged, and they said that mine would arrive on a pallet so I won't have to be worried about it. Very excited and can't wait to get on and see for myself what everyone else has been talking about. FFR actually hooked me up with a discount which was very cool of them.

      @@ElectricScooterInsider so I've had my Nami for a few days now, and this thing is a beast!! It's very powerful, but at the same time it's manageable. I'm still getting used to turning though. However, I will say this why put $40 tires on a 5k scooter??? Oh, and I ordered the first Gen Nami 32 ah, and they sold out of that model and they sent me the second Gen Nami 32 ah(Nami Burn-E 2 Max). It has upgraded Logan 4 piston hydraulic brakes, wider handle bars, 5 Amp fast charger, better turn signals, and a couple of other things. FFR hooked me up!.

      @@allanm3797 Great news! I'm glad you are enjoying it. When you turn, especially at moderate speed, it's best to lean into the turn as opposed to rotating the handlebars (imagine you are riding a motorcycle).

      Hi Andrew, good observation. We didn't have the Wolf King GT at the time of making the review, hence why it wasn't included. We do have the GT now, though, and will be producing a review of it where the NAMI will be an alternative.
      As for my top level thoughts between the two. If you can stretch your budget I'd go for the NAMI. Both are very fast and match each other for acceleration but the adjustable suspension on the Burn-e is the jewel in its crown. The way you can adjust the suspension to your terrain levels up ride quality beyond the King GT. On the other hand, if you want a scooter almost exclusively for the off-roaring, then the GT is one for you.

    Why do you mention apollo so offen? They are mostly just a rebranded scooter.
    There are many more that have more to offer then just the ones you have mentioned! And the comparison spread is off as well.
    Any one that has a wide range of different brand scooter riding and comparing to I think would agree. You must be getting paid off to say what you did.

    • @ElectricScooterInsider
      @ElectricScooterInsider  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Michael, Apollo models are mention just a handful of times to give context to the NAMI's power and design, but I don't recommend them as models to opt for over the NAMI. You are correct that older models from Apollo are OEM, however their newer models have all been custom designs.
      As for the alternative scooters, I like to try and give a range that meets all budgets since not everyone can afford the high price tags of these models. If you would like other recommendations that are a similar price then I'd suggest looking at the Wolf King GT - this alongside the NAMI are our favourite ultra-performance models.
      All of our reviews are unbiased and retailers/manufacturers do not influence our scooter selection or reviews. We don’t just focus on the good, we also highlight the bad to let you be the judge.
      Because we put all scooters through our thorough review process, we can clearly distinguish where a scooter is better or worse than its competitors. This allows us to show you alternatives, explain which are the best for certain uses, and ultimately, identify key decision-making factors.
