Great work! I'm just getting into electric scooters and just love the "land surfing". This may have been mentioned before, but the Segway Ninebot's top speed is indeed 30 kph, but that is not equivalent to 27.9 mph as indicated at 0:47 min. The correct conversion is 18.6 mph. Happy scooting!

Ya I have the ninebot max and the top speed of that is only 20mph and goes up to 40 miles on a charge. So ya I agree in saying that version cannot go 27mph when it costs less and is built lighter and smaller than the max.

If you're thinking of going for any of the chinese scooters, go for the laotie 30ti or similar (Boyuda, fieabor etc) they're all great for the money, though the laotie has an absolutely massive battery wirh 21700 cells and is usually as cheap/cheaper than the others with the exact same design.

I got the kaabo mantis pro. The only problem is that it's not water friendly. So ,I got it water proofed with some off-road tires. 😎

Dualtron ultra user here. Guess what, it's really the best one tbh. After slight modification, this piece of machine is a beast. Comfort, speed and distance. Changed throttle to wuxing index throttle, magura hydraulic breaks, reverse component handle bar and adapter. Best ride ever

If you get in a hole with these relatively small wheels at 90 km per hour, you can seriously hurt yourself.. This is why I would prefer one of those " motorcycle frame " e--bikes.
True I had an accident. It happened so quick. I was thrown 5 feet. I was taken to an ER. Had face surgery. Lesson learned. Wear helmet. Which I didn’t.

Artur Lukomski yeah I agree. That’s why when I had the accident last year I was not wearing helmet, gloves. I was thrown 5 feet and almost hit the car in front of me. Luckily there’s no one behind me. I was taken in the ER and took cats scan. I had 5 or 6 stitches on my right face. I broke my right thumb

The es4 doesn’t have a 800 watt motor or go 27 mph it has a 300 watt motor and does 15-16 mph this video isn’t accurate disregard it’s information.
It goes 18.6 mph.
@@jaxw2628 it depends on the software, stock software limits you at 18 for es4, 16 for es3, I have custom and can get to 20 on a full charge and more downhill.

@Preston Yoyos My neighbor has one, and on flat ground I can easily keep up with it or even pass it on my bike. So if you want to go fast it’s not great, and also the tires are garbage.

Given the post has a few noticeable mistakes.Kind of wonder what we didn’t not notice.
I got me a Xiaomi scooter 🛴 and it helps me out alot like going to work and out to home also when driving with friends at day and night,saved alot of money instead of giving them to the gas station ⛽ money 💲💰 I got this and it's way better than the bus or the car.

correcting the mistake at the start of the video with the es4 as an owner of one the stated top speed is 18.6 mph however i can hit 32 kph on it and with great performance the only downside is the lack of front suspension or if you are looking for something very fast rather than a good commuter with a little kick in it

Pfft who wants a petrol scooter. Loud, dirty and Smokey. They are such old school compared to something like a Dualtron thunder. No range anxiety when you can ride 70+ km. Plenty of battery power for each day.

Most of the scooters in the video are nowhere near $5000. Literally every scooter in the video either comes standard with a removable seat, or you can purchase a seat that attaches on. In some cases, the high end e-scooters are actually faster than many petrol scooters (V2 of the Dualtron Ultra can allegedly go 100 km/h, for instance). A big selling point of these scooters is that they *don't* use petrol and are thus more eco-friendly. And as for range anxiety, these scooters on the higher end can go for 50+ miles on one charge, which should be plenty if you're just trying to get around a city. Obviously no scooter, petrol or electric, is made for long road trips.
So yeah...why not just buy a petrol scooter? ....all those reasons

i have MI 365 since last xmass, if you drive in city, you will never like to speed up over 20km/h. walking people not able to notice you or they are moving suddenly because walkway for walkers they don't think someone riding in walkway. yes range is important i added external battery now i can make 40km in single charge however after 20km of riding you will be tired believe me. for my opinion segway and MI365 is in good price range and enough futures for city riders

Some of these designs have other been cloned or it's same factory, different importer or overseas seller and cost MUCH less than the prices you stated. Frankly, paying over $1500 for any of those is absurd, maybe $2000 if it came with a 2nd battery pack you could swap.

I have the Ninebot es4, Max's out at 21 mph. My cousin just bought the Ninebot max, he almost sent it back cuz he was pissed it doesn't have the Led lights on the bottom LOL It goes the same speed as my Ninebot es4 but definitely supports more weight
