Overly gushy review. "The options to customize are endless" is a gross overstatement. There are basically 4 adjustments that matter. Power and acceleration for each motor. Disabling e-brake is broken causing owners to have to cut harness wires to fix issue. Onerous throttle delay from start can't be adjusted or disabled. No acceleration curves. No modulated braking which cheaper scooters like Apollo have. And if you buy from certain EU vendors, push to start is locked so you have to buy new display $150 from other country to fix that. For now PMT tires don't come stock. You have to ask dealer to replace for you at extra cost. Maybe in future they will. It's a good scooter and you can even say it's the best and I would not argue but it has hordes of issues like all scooters do. You should point out the bad too so people's expectations are not over inflated.
I did exactly what u stated and got mines for $3650 which is still pricey for me. Now I’m broke but don’t have to depend on New York stupid buses. And I can’t even express how convenient this scooter is commuting around Manhattan. Just stay away from stairs. I never thought I would buy a scooter over $1000. This thing better last me over 10years. Ohhh I purchased an extra handle for my child so we can commute together. Just got to make sure I stay under 200 pounds which will be harder since I have a scooter that goes as far as 100 miles on one charge. When the stomach appears I will be lifting this 100lbs up and down stairs. It better help me make some money if I decide to do Uber eats.
@@stephandaley3613 Glad you got a scooter. Which one did you get as I couldn't tell with the $3650 price tag. I still love my Nami Burn-e 2, but I'd definitely purchase the Burn-e 2 Max if I had to do it again. Unless the battery is above 80% you're not really going 40+ MPH. But then this thing not going above 43ish MPH has probably saved me from a bad situation. Congrats on the scooter!
How do volts affect a scooter's performance? For example, the Nami Burn-e 2 is 72V 28Ah and it has 2x1000W motors. The Wolf GT Pro is 60V 35Ah with 2x1200W motors. But they get about the same speed. Also, the Apollo Phantom is 52V with 1200W motors...but I read the Nami goes up hills better. I don't know how this works!
Volts and amps are multiplied to give watts. So two 1000 watt motors running 72v will draw about 28 amps, so the burn-e would get about 1 hrs running time at 100% power. two 1200 watt motors running on 60v will be pulling about 40 amps, so would get just under 1 hour of 100% power from the 35amp hr battery. Burn-e has about 2015 watt hours in a full battery, Wolf GT battery is about 2100 watt hours.
I recently bought a new Nami Burn-e2. According to FFR the side turn signals have been replaced by rear lights. My scooter only has solid white side strip lights. They do not change when turn signals are on.
I am trying to find information on max speeds for each mode on the nami burn e 2. It seems that no reviews or sites or videos share that info. Yes u showcase the top end performance mode speed but I am so curious on the other modes to determine range and focus for charging especially since i will use this for work and some enthusiastic riding
Obviously this is subjective. Many believe it's the best looking with that military grade look. For me I like the rigidity of the tubular frame. It really rides better than scooters composed of many bolt on parts. The Nami's frame is one piece. It is virtually indestructible. The tubes have X reinforcement inside too.

Since I've ridden both the Rion and own a Nami I can tell you the differences. The Nami beats the Rion on overall package and versatility. The Rion might be slightly better for race track at the cost of no suspension, no lights, no kickstand, no display, and shorter range. The Nami is all around a more complete package having all these. You can off road it or track it. Stem is higher and more comfortable, deck is more roomy and pleasant with best in class suspension, acceleration is fast enough (Rion beats it by a little). Top speed on Rion is a lot higher but why you need to go 100mph when 60mph is more than anyone needs. After you upgrade the Nami with MPT tires and Magura brakes (easy upgrades) you basically have a more practical Rion. But it's harder to convert a Rion the other way and way more expensive.
The gayest thing about scooters is that the tires are so small and you look dumb riding them. They do look fun to ride though. Think I'll stick for now with my Surron X, Begode Master, and Inmotion V12HT unicycles.
The problem with scooters, is that it's impossible to look good riding them. No one has ever gone ''oh cool, nice scooter''. I get they're great for commuting, but they just look sooo bad. E-skateboards seem to be the best option these days.
@@justmehereUK looking cool is an extremely subjective opinion. What looks cool to one person may not look cool to another. I can’t show you something you refuse to see. I get compliments on my Wolf King GT scooter often as I’m sure many other riders of modern, high-performance scooters hear from curious onlookers. I’m over 50 years old now and I grew up on skateboards and bmx bikes and still admire those sports very much. There’s nothing wrong with your E-skateboards opinion, but the popularity of E-scooters is rising daily and won’t be going away anytime soon. 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
Using this scooter for short commutes is the way to go, as it makes it really fun. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxvyNuxpWiHTNypxG6nyqyf7ywc7Q16PDM Both the levels of speed it allows you to use are very fun, though 20mph can get pretty scary on bad roads. It makes a cool electric sound as it is accelerating. The battery life is also pretty impressive, as I can go anywhere around me within a ~10 mile radius and back home with a full charge. I expected the tires to feel somewhat like a toy, but it is legit, and has pretty good grip on surfaces. Braking on this scooter is also really fun, since you can even do a little drifting if you break hard. The wheels on the scooter are definitely very high quality, as they are wide and well sized. The entire scooter is pretty high quality too. I have fallen on it a couple times because I was being a little reckless, and the scooter still works perfectly fine, with some minor scratches on the sides. I found the brake lights to be very cool as well, since they flash when you brake.

After you upgrade the Nami with MPT tires and Magura brakes (easy upgrades) you basically have a more practical Rion. But it's harder to convert a Rion the other way and way more expensive.
@@vripiatbuzoi9188 awesome comparison!

😀😀😀😀👋💋💪👍
No at 40 mph
47 mph to be exact
It's not the best e scooter.. there are better...
Which one? I'm in the market for one and I really like this one but I'm open to suggestions
The gayest thing about scooters is that the tires are so small and you look dumb riding them. They do look fun to ride though. Think I'll stick for now with my Surron X, Begode Master, and Inmotion V12HT unicycles.
You have no idea..45 moh sucks
U can pony up an extra $1500 & get the MAX… then u have 60 mph… is that better?
The problem with scooters, is that it's impossible to look good riding them. No one has ever gone ''oh cool, nice scooter''. I get they're great for commuting, but they just look sooo bad. E-skateboards seem to be the best option these days.
You might be very alone in that uncommon opinion.
@@allemander lol what, show me someone looking cool on a scooter. It's like skiing, I love skiing, but well aware it looks bad
@@allemander lol there's no way you're getting compliments mate
So having fun is based on how cool you look? That's a shallow way to live
