I had the opportunity to ride the Enduro late Summer. Enduro smashed anything in front of it, and climbed better than my S-works Stumpjumper. This bike kicks ass!! It's more bike then I need but I am sure a Stumpy version will appear in the next year. Once that happens I will be all over that. Specialized nailed it with new Enduro.

So will we see a Mk4 Nomad vs 2020 Enduro video any time soon? Also, the SWAT tool in the steerer is a fantastic idea, but it’s quite a lot more cash than the OneUp Components version. Saying that, the Specialized version is significantly easier to fit.
thank you pinkbike and great comments from fellow riders. does it really pedal more efficiently than the old enduro? you can make it to the top of a hill faster? changing the axle path? of the the rear wheel so it moves backwards slightly must hurt pedaling efficiency. that is a straight up downhill bike type of design and not helpful to moving forwards unless you are trying to keep stable on a downhill run at speed.and, you guys might be too young to know this but if this new bike looks like a nomad it's because the nomad look is similar to the demo line of bikes which specialized came out with long before the new nomad.

A question for Jason - could you guess how you would fit a S5? My current bikes have reach 475 mm (Nordest Bardino L) and 465 (2014 Enduro 29 XL), so the S5 511 mm reach is way longer but didn't feel too weird. Any thoughts appreciated, thanks!
Personally I'd probably find the S5 a little long. The S4 hits the reach sweet spot for me on both climbing and descending. I ran the same 40mm stem (down from 50mm) as Kaz as well. You're a little taller than me though so I'd say try before you buy! - Jason

I’m enjoying the bike so far ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA My only real complaints are the brakes and the pedals. I feel like a bike designed for bigger people should have much larger pedals and more heavy duty brakes. I’ve only gotten two really good rides out of it, minimal downhill action, and the brakes feel like they’re already going out. A larger person has more momentum, so I think this wasn’t thought through very well. Also, I wear size 13-14 wide shoes. My feet cramp up on these pedals that are clearly made for smaller feet.
