Deathcore never was and will never be like this. This is the best EP of all time, and the best deathcore album of all time, and one of the best albums of all time.
@@ПельменьПельменевич-о5п Hell yea brother AGATG will always be a favorite of mine, they are super chill dudes... I actually own their Micro Korg keyboard they wrote most their albums synth parts with lol ... I bought it from them many years ago when they were funding something for the band, they even hand wrote me a thank you note on this crazy pirate scroll with an old fashion fountain pen XD
Way better than new crap….every song on new reign is a great song…listened to this for years never gets old only better when I compare to new Shiite. Too many following everyone else anymore. Osiris, bleed the sky, oceano, periphery, veil of maya, etc…used tone and original time changes, now everything’s overkill and kinda not headbanging material like their old stuff….bummer….so many pits when I used to go see those bands
i remember i used to play this album all the time in my car while driving around back in the day. I even got a lot of my friends who weren't into heavy music into this album. So good
The drummer writes most of the music. In 2007 in summer slaughter man I was about 16/17 well I got the chance to smoke out in their van and get a pre view of what was after this album. They did say Cameron (the drummer) does write and compose the songs. The guitar part/drums/some bass. The members learn it. Ad their own flavor. And wahla
Lol, I was telling a friend about this the other day. Cameron is pretty cool I got to see them live when I was younger at a small venue. Super close and when he threw the drum sticks into the audience it landed right in my hand. Later I went out back and saw him loading up their gear in a van? I think it was a van? So long ago. I talked to him for a few minutes then snapped a pic with him. Super chill guy.
@@TRFAD Sounds like a cool experience dudes. I've had the honor of smoking out with a band myself, The Protomen. It's super cool to be able to just be a fellow human with people you look up to.
Well done man. It just isn't same as it used to be brother, that's for sure. I am only 27 and those days of people being cool and chill without bringing guns and acting like lunatics are over. Had alot of good memories going to peaceful gatherings but I don't know about now unfortunately.
Thats mostly true for the first two albums. He did do like 85% Lee is involved in the song writing now. If you haven't heard fourth of July and glass bluntz(pre new reign demos) definitely do it now!
My personal opinion is that The New Reign is still the best BOO Album and my fav song off that album. This record just stood out so much amongst all the other metal albums that were dropping around then and continue to. It just has so many recognizable parts and was clean, very original, catchy as all hell, drum parts are amazing as well as the guitars and synth and the vocals didn't fight the music but blended and complimented the music ver well.. I mean this is just one of those albums that is very hard to top even being in the band. BUT its like they say.. You spend your whole life writing, preparing and delivering that first album to the public and only a few months to a year on any following album! Its great though! Anyhow, I bumped the shit out of this today.. so metal!
Someone alert the press, someone actually used their opinion in a civilized and well thought out manner. You sir, win comment of the fucking year! Never thought I'd see the day.
couldnt agree more. newer stuff all sounds very similar and the remaster of this album, the eternal reign, was disappointing. I will still listen to a higher place and the discovery, but not often and nothing more recent than discovery. Abstract Art is my favorite track because of its epic breakdown.
110% FORSURE. the best part about it is cameron, the drummer, wrote all the music. the new reign will always be thebest. discovery was okay, and like 3 songs from a higher place, then they fell off mt playlists
i love the melodic death metalish sound that boo has soo f'ing awesome, i especially love the symphony like style some of there songs have. they are soo much more than just a regular old metal band, boo is the synergestic meaning of harmony
Literally this OG EP was a total masterpiece. I still come back like once a year or two when I never even listen to music anymore, or even if i do the music isnt nearly this heavy anymore to bask in the total masterpiece that this entire album was.
I will always love this album more. I just think its such a great album and it was made when they were pretty new as a band / unheard of. This album shows off their true talent.
Havnt listen to this song in forever .. not really my style anymore.. but I seen them play it live a couple nights ago on the chaos and carnage tour .. melted my old ass face off 🤘🏼
man I graduated high-school in 08 around the time this came out, and dont really listen to metal anymore.... but God I go back and listen to this album, and can't help but get right back into it like I was 18 again. this is the greatest album of all time. seriously not a bad song on the whole thing.
the guitarist of this band is one talented dude and bringing metal in the right direction without repetition all the time, ive been learning this album might post a cover up xD
Minor 3rd trills moved up diminished shape, moved up Minor 3rds, sounds great every time. It makes a legitimate exercise for index-pinky finger-strength, as well. Hope this Helps anyone reading.
Yeah the remake doesn't really add much, especially with this song and Open Arms. Some songs benefit from it like The New Reign; some didn't sound good with the re-record.

slice the cake - the man with no face
Coming back to this song years later, and it still gives me kick ass memories!! Never ever will this album get old!!
Rock on 🤘 (TESS)
Summer breaks during my high school years had the best tours.
This album has aged so well..
Almost like a fine wine awaiting consumption from the future.
It's 2023 and it's still perfect.
2023 and still here for it ❤

Even in 2024!
forgot how much I loved this...
Still so good !

I saw you all 2011 at Clearwater Chicago. Local IL here. Thanks for sharing your pain and truth. God Bless.
Paul
My fucking HEART coming back to this 11 years later

@Xarfax umbagwe He could have meant Viola. Too bad you can't hear it in the mix.

2023 and still jamming these good oldies ❤🤘
I grew into metal listening to this band. so much love.
Agreed. Hands down, favorite album by them.
Even though they re-amped this whole album I still find myself coming back to these golden artifacts. I love you boo 👻
🔥🤘🏻🔥
this is my favorite BoO song, and it's super important to me. I'm so glad I got to see them play it live. They completely killed it.
September 5,2024.. Deym still my favorite band
This album takes me back to 5th grade lol. Best thing to ever come out in 2007

Duuude jajaja i agree with u, that's the best album by them.
Agreed. The new reign in my opinion is the best. I love it but after this album I don't even waste my time listening anymore

that was awesome. i havnt heard this album in forever. takes me back. its like pre-djent
Bone chilling guitar riffs.
I have this song twice in my playlist because I love both the new and eternal reign versions so much, and they're so different
they nailed it with this album
Masterpiece of my favorite!
Best band I’ve seen perform live. They sounded like you were listening to the cd, that’s how good they were!!!
Their music is out of this world. It has an egyptian( osiris) melody yet sometimes it sounds medieval. I love this band!
i love the melodic death metalish sound that boo has soo f'ing awesome, i especially love the symphony like style some of there songs have. they are soo much more than just a regular old metal band, boo is the synergestic meaning of harmony
Damn never noticed how this album and Commons Mans Collapse by VoM sound so similar!
Michael Keene produced and co-wrote both albums!
For sure. If we're being totally honest, The Common Man's Collapse is the better of the two by far but this album is a classic
I have seen these guys 3 times now and they need to start playing more of the new reign.
2024, still slappin
Literally this OG EP was a total masterpiece. I still come back like once a year or two when I never even listen to music anymore, or even if i do the music isnt nearly this heavy anymore to bask in the total masterpiece that this entire album was.
Best album, the drums are what make it a fav for me
Agree 100% one of my biggest influences for drummer is this album and lamb of gods New American Gospel
+Lies and Slander you know there was no drummer on this EP, all produced digitally
Lies and Slander
What about All Shall Perish: The price Of Existence, that's pure drumgasm.
10 years later and that song still gets my dick hard. God Damn.
Spot on! Spot on!
Seeing these guys in may. So pumped
same with misled ive seen these guys 3 times in NY one of the first bands i fell in love with live
This is still so great.
Number one song to practice vocals for me.👌
brings back memories from way back when in 2011 childhood days still listening to this new album in 2016 weredi the time go😰😰😰
I have listened to all the songs by the band, and this is still my favourite one. Amazing band. : )
One of their bests.
its great to see record labels upload their own music instead of it being taken down from every users profile.
I'm so glad I seen this live
I really love that groovy riff in the beginning. It results in uncontrollable headbanging
I went through some of my old music CDs and found this album and i was like OMG I FORGOT ABOUT THE NEW REIGN. This album was actually childhood to me
this album is a masterpiece
That intro though.... Timeless.
Holy shit, The pits were so violent during this one.
So much fun though.
We're you at the agora?
Naw I wasn't.
02:33 this is the yogurt rain!
my fav song by BOO so far !
so awesome
Fave band as of now!!
My favorite BOO song ever
this is one of those albums that you really dont wanna take out of your car. the beats man.
i have known about born of osiris for like 4 years and i forgot how good this album was
great albums always deserve remastery
Love how it starts off all chill and metal as fuck yet with a groovy tempo
I will always love this album more. I just think its such a great album and it was made when they were pretty new as a band / unheard of. This album shows off their true talent.
VOTE UP! IF YOU WOULD BUY THIS ALBUM IF THEY RE RECORDED IT!!!
+MegaOsiris11 OMG this really needs to happen hopefully this year.
^^
They are re-recording
And just like that,, i can finally leave happy. =)
lucky for all of us they are!! They also just released a track that was supposed to be on it
One does not simply sit still while listening to Born of Osiris.
Cannot be unheard...
10 years later, still sick asf. \m/
Brings me back to my high school days. Glad I got to see them live. Thrice.
Havnt listen to this song in forever .. not really my style anymore.. but I seen them play it live a couple nights ago on the chaos and carnage tour .. melted my old ass face off 🤘🏼

Misha Mansoor stated that Cameron wrote and played all the drums, guitar, bass and keyboard parts for this album. He's a genius.
This band has the most innovative guitarist in metal in my opinion
the guitarist of this band is one talented dude and bringing metal in the right direction without repetition all the time, ive been learning this album might post a cover up xD
omg the ending is so beautiful :D
song makes me speechless, intro is beast.
Defiantly the best song off their EP
This album was so good
this shit stay the best song
May this album, a common mans collapse (Veil of maya) and rareform (After the burial) be cemented into the history books as masterpieces forever!
Fair play Im really into this band !!!!!!
They fuckign AWESOME !!!!
All 8-bit BOO is amazing.
BOO BOUNCE!!
Heavy ❤
0:23 "NOW LET ME TAKE A SHIT!"
I like groovy. Groovy is funky. And I like funky, as well.
still my all time favorite song. So random that they decided to upload it.
Holy shit boulders............
My mind has just been blown.
1:55 those harmonies
Minor 3rd trills moved up diminished shape, moved up Minor 3rds, sounds great every time. It makes a legitimate exercise for index-pinky finger-strength, as well.
Hope this Helps anyone reading.
I feel the same way. Goes with most bands/movies/shows for me
Love This Song Born Of Osiris Kicks Ass :)
1:31 I had a coregasm
EVERYONE THEY'RE REMAKING THIS ALBUM! :D
ShookHot wuuuuuuut
The remake blows
Yeah the remake doesn't really add much, especially with this song and Open Arms.
Some songs benefit from it like The New Reign; some didn't sound good with the re-record.
do they still play live?
Klart Lompok the orc remake doesn’t hit as hard for sure
It's that Boo Bounce, man.
BOO BEST SOBLNG EVER
Such an epic intro.
masterpiece-
00:40 to 1:30 holy shit
yeahhhhhh this that good sheeeeeettttttt
best track on the album tbh
good shit boo
Even someone with a broken neck can't stop headbanging to this.
I swear The New Reign had sounds that came straight of out pokemon RSE
probably there best song
1:53 puts a smile to my face every time lol and idk why.

you know that Jason Richardson wasnt in Born of osiris when this Album was recorded?
Oh?

Nah they were all fresh outta high school though and that's damn impressive
