There are 2 options:
1. He is natty and has rather good genetics, but by FAR not elite genetics, because there are many naturals out there who can easily close the #3 without needing help from the left hand etc.
2. He has insanely bad genetics and is on roids
Imho the second option is pretty common in the fitness community

true to both of those statements however it's a grip killer when you do those fuckers to failure and add that fat grip to the pull-up lol it's not gonna make your grip that much better it's just a friendly challenge to make things interesting
