Can I just say, its been my 3rd day drinking this smoothie and it's helped me so much. I don't have a thyroid anymore plus I have pcos so balancing hormones is a big need of mine. And this has given me energy and made it last all day. I usually crash at 4pm and for the last 3 days I've felt so much better ! Also I add almond milk and vanilla protein powder so it fills me a little more since my job is physically straining. If there are other variations of flavors I can try please make a video. I would so appreciate it !!!

Omg I can't thank you enough for sharing this video! I asked and you delivered! I used to have a very stressful job that left me in a very dark place until I finally just quit. I went back to my previous employer and I am much happier, however the damage from the stress was already done. I'm seeing my doctor and will be going to an Endocrinologist next week. But I really wanted something in my diet to help give me a boost with my hormones. If no one has told you today, "I super appreciate you and your videos. You are so inspiring!" My endocrinologist told me I can eat any fruits and vegetables including cruciferous vegetables, he said my thyroid was already damaged and it would not make a difference. Just don’t binge on them. Everything in balance.

Thanks for the great video? I read that you're supposed to use ground flaxseed fresh, not store it. Do you store yours in the freezer or something? Also, won't the blender just grind them for you with the rest of the smoothie?

I remember hearing from another holistic health practitioner that the nutritional value of freezing raw foods was counterproductive since it destroys it. What's your take?
not true. i use organic frozen fruit all the time and have amazing results.

One of the main concerns for nutrient loss associated with freezing seems to be related to the blanching process that oftentimes occurs prior to freezing. About 25% of the vitamin C and a greater percentage of folate are lost during the blanching process that occurs before foods are frozen. About 10% of thiamin (vitamin B1) is also lost during blanching. It's important to remember that these percentages of nutrient loss are very general and can be different with different foods. Fruits and vegetables are picked at peak ripeness and often frozen within hours, locking in nutrients and flavor. Generally, frozen foods retain their vitamins and minerals and there is no change to the carbohydrate, protein or fat content. In some cases, frozen foods have more vitamins and minerals compared to fresh because fresh foods lose vitamins and minerals over time while freezing preserves nutrients.
