Thank you SOOOO much. The company website SUCKED the day I bought it and it sucked after I purchased by never relating to me that the filter was so easy to fix!
The first time ever that I clean that filter. My vacuum is 7 yo and few weeks ago was stopping now and then. The light turned red so I cleaned all the machine excepted that because I didn’t know there was a filter in there. So let’s know if that was the problem. Thank you and greetings from Gran Canaria
The openings in the back cap allow heat to escape so the electronics stay cool. Air pressure differences might push a little air in and out. But there is no cooling fan, so the air flow through the filter should be negligeable. I can't imagine that filter needing cleaning during a lifetime of ordinary vacuuming.
Yes, it’s completely normal. While using the vacuum, there shouldn’t be any blockage in the airflow. In case there is a blockage(hair tangled in plastic/your hand) the vacuum will cut its power off and prevent any possible damage to the main board which is located right at the exhaust, and uses the airflow coming through for cooling.

Mine was pretty bad! But then again I've been to Burning Man twice 😂. Thank you for the informative video! I'm sure my vacuum will work better now
Twisted off with considerable force. Fairly clean after years of use.
Mine was very dirty!! thanks for the video!
Ours also needed to be pried open and, likewise, the filter was relatively clean. Thanks.
According to the manual, you twist the back cap anti-clockwise and then pull off. Ours came of fairly easily, without using a knife
Varies by model. My V7 Motorhead back does not twist off.
There is maybe a revision of the V7 because on another video, the dude just turns the filter with ease
That's because it's got a HEPA filter. The
Mine twists but it won't pull off. I'm afraid to force it or use a knife.
Thanks for this mine was filthy 🤧

Muchas gracias, tu video es muy claro. Debería ser el video oficial de la compañía
The blue filter comes apart for cleaning!
Tell us how, please
Thanks for the vid ya legend
Mine pulsates if I put my hand over the nozzle, is that normal

I think my filter at the back is rotten. It's blowing out black stuff
Mine just twists open
maybe you have the v8 model that one is just twist to open
6min and a split finger later I got it opened…and found out the replacement I got was for the v8…
The second cleaner twists off...
My secret filter was filthy
Mines clean😅
Yeni modellerde bu filtre çevirerek sökülüp yıkanabiliyor.
Any time you have to use a knife on an appliance, you are doing it wrong!
Except in this case. It wasn’t designed to be user serviceable, but that doesn’t mean you can’t service it.
