So far this has made a big difference in this Jeep, Now we get manual mode, 4.71 to 1 first gear and way better shifting. This Jeep now has all the power this Jeep can handle, hard to have a flexy Jeep handle the power.
Are you able to start on 4low up to 4th gear like you do on jls and jts?Because on 545rfe when you choose 2nd gear to start roll the car it starts from 1st and then shifts to 2nd…
@@SunTehPower So the transmission knows logic and what that means, if your running 3.73 gears and 40s the transmission probably will not start in a higher gear, but if you are running 31s and 5.38 gears yes it will probably start out in a higher gear. Now you could HPTuner the transmission to do what ever you want. We can flash the transmission to have manual mode for FREE...
curious back when you did TJ LS swaps, how did you get the jeep stock check engine light to turn off since it's PCM controlled and obviously the jeep thinks there's something wrong with the motor.

No we do not use the 2008 Computer, now on all of the TJ Hemi swaps we used the 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 computer and this works with the 8 speed HP70 4x4 transmission .. We have a wiring harness and module that will work.
@@jeepspeedshopwhat’s involved in swapping an ecu to a different year. Can’t find much online about it and was told I need to use a 09 ecu to get torque management to work. I have an 11 ram 1500
So on the TJ we used the 2005 Dodge Ram 5.7L computer, I guess we could just reuse your computer and turn off the transmission side to make it all work..
We are no longer doing V8 swaps in 2006 and older Jeeps, but we can do a 8 speed swap. Now we built this Jeep many years ago and i still do maintenance on all the Jeeps we built over the years. We built over 90 TJ Hemi Jeeps.

A 8 speed and a Hemi is a good combo

@@fredeschen3783 We can not do a 8 speed behind a 4.0L or a 3.8L, one main resin the crank sensor is in the bell-housing and the 8 speed dose not.
how does the speedometer work
Probably reuse factory speed sensor on tcase.
Well that is easy, the Jeep TJ gets the MPH from the T Case speed sensor.
