Nice, I pass this one on the way to the scrapyard. There's another one on Pinetown Rd. There used to be a FS 2001 next to it, but I think it was taken down.
In schuylkill haven we just lost 2 of 3 model 7A’s. Last one active is at the rainbow fire department and it has bad brushes! I guess we may be getting new sirens, and I might take one of the sirens.
The one at liberty fire department, no wires are connected to the siren head and the power box (only the county wire is connected) and the same goes for the one on the hill next to the new schuylkill hose FD. I hope they get replaced.
Sirens of NE Ohio I'm not quite sure, although I do remember reading a thread on ARS about it (maybe it was my own?🤔) All I know is that there's only a handful of cyclones left abandoned in place.
The 2001s were probably auctioned off, some of the Cyclones were abandoned, and the rest were probably taken by ANS (ASC's in-house installation company) and scrapped similar to what they have done in other large system's they've replaced, including other Exelon nuclear systems across the Midwest.
@@sirenfreak57 There was a graveyard of Limerick and Peach Bottom thunderbolts at TMI that has been cleared and I assume there were cyclones there as well
Nice views! They’re Amazing

You would be right, the 2001 is gone. What scrapyard are you talking about?
@@CentralPASirens Allen's Auto Inc. (AAI). They seem to be good people in there and their prices are pretty competitive.
@@Longsdorff Oh yes, that's pretty close to me. I'm basically between there and Roundtop.

Trains and Sirens Oof, that sucks. Which ones are gone?
