Game is just going to be like any generic s***hole VR2 game meant to fill up their library, this has happened several times before, don’t expect anything extraordinary

@@lizardjoe4224 Five months before release and still no gameplay or screenshots usually mean anything good. I'd like to be wrong because this franchise deserves a really good game. Moreover, the fact that this "must run on Q3" or Q2 immediately lowers my expectations.

I don't know why they haven't made a VR version of Isolation already? I mean, I'll take this too (assuming it's good) but I would LOVE to replay Isolation in VR. In fact, I've been holding on a second playthrough in hopes of exactly that!
When I heard about Flat2VR, Alien Isolation was the game I immediately thought of.
I honestly would prefer a BETTER AvP or Colonial Marines.

Me, the guy who spent most of Alien Isolation stuck in a locker. I'll 100% not be completing this LOL.
I'll never forget being in a locker for a good 10 minutes as the xeno refused to leave the area. Once the coast appeared clear, I exited, only to hear that tell-tale "THUMP" of alien re-entering the scene and back I went into the locker. I never knew such seemingly boring gameplay could be so intense!

This will be an instant buy for me. I've been waiting years for someone to understand the potential of the franchise as a vr horror game.

For a "dead" platform, PSVR2 is going strong with its multi-plat library, with some of the best titles with top-tier graphics.
I have little doubt that there will be more exclusives, timed or otherwise in 2024.
but this one isn't an exclusive though. It's a multi-platform title.

Multiplateforme VR games usually suck. I would much prefer a good flat game port ( like alien isolation in VR ) than a port of QUEST VR game. We need more hybrid game ported from good flat game. We had ton of them on PSVR 1 ( Minecraft , borderland 2 , Wipe out , Hitman, Dirt Rally, Ace combat, Star Wars , Skyrim etc )
The way the industry is atm, I'm cautiously optimistic. A bit worried they can ruin it by releasing unfinished/buggy and/or with MTXs and other monetization - none of which are ever ok.

I don’t know where all this PSVR 2 is dead comes from. Yes Sony don’t make AAA games anymore but most of the triple AAA games there are you will find them on or coming out on the PSVR 2

Probably not. They were working on the game last year and after they heard what lost people were hoping for, they apparently changed the game. Single player horror game also. So not like Ghostbusters at all 😊

Hi Bryan, just a tip: like on PSVR this week in spoken form, it's always good to put the trailer description in your video description 😊 but thanks for exposing me to the teaser, at least now it has a name and release window. I'm not sure I'll play it, Isolation made me very uneasy, though I'm a huge Alien 1 fan!

Most anticipated title so far but now I'm getting mixed feelings. Also, not a trailer and it's a stretch to call it even a teaser. More like a teaser for the release date. I for one find the whole thing a bit underwhelming

They need to drop the 'Rogue'. 'Alien Incursion' is a decent title. 'Alien Rogue Incursion' is clunky and overlong.
Also that artwork in the still image is concerning. Cartoony and stylised in a way that screams 'quest game'.

As soon as I saw meta quest I just know we are getting a crappy quest port.
It says quest 3 though so many the bar will be higher...
Keep in mind that metro awakening and wanderer fragments of fate are also coming out on quest platforms.

Holiday (at least here in the states) generally means anytime leading up to Christmas, so my guess would be November or December 2024

It's hard to get excited for a game that hasn't even shown a single screenshot of in-game environments or characters. Hopefully when we get an actual trailer we'll all be a little more excited

What a lousy trailer, the first 30 second was just a ponderous list of companies, way too slow, that could have been 5 seconds of the trailer. Lousy music, and a visual right at the end that told us nothing. What was the point in this!! If anything it turned me off and was left with the feeling I had just wasted a minute of my life.
