    Good lessons here. It's all about the basics. And drag setting is one of the basics. Fresh good quality line, good solid knots, fully functional rods/reels. The basics tip the scales in your favor.

    Excellent video. Been fishing for 25 plus years, and still learned something. Makes sense why I always lose my fricken fish in the kelp. I need to tighten that drag down, and stop em. Or Atleast try to

    incredible information Phil! You can host a class just on setting drag!! Not a bad idea!?! Who needs Cars and coffee when you have....Coffee an Drag Setting??? Have a great day. I'm back on the fish after Wednesday when the winds die down on a 4 pax! Going for broke (cuz the price is high too ! hahah)

    I like 25% with a full spool. When you have half your spool out the drag increases and I wouldn't want it to increase enough to break my leader
