Just from the form alone and seeing the words, "Perfect", "Micro", "Macro" and "Multi-task" from a Terran already sparks entertainment. Then I saw Hydra-Corruptor and I knew Harstem wouldn't miss the chance to not let Lowko live that down. Most passive Zerg I've seen and as expected from a product from Wish(TM), it's a botched job.
Lol exactly my thoughts, guy is Plat and says everything was "on point", on top of that even talks about "multitasking", I'm yet to see multitasking in Diamond, let alone Plat 🤣
@@beckerzineo Yeah even in low to mid master league multitasking isn't really a thing. they might split their armies more and have something that approaches it but multitasking is the pinnacle of skill in this game. When you can control two armies and macro at the same time nearly as well as you would normally while focused just on one of those things, even if "normally" for you isn't absolutely amazing, you can probably get to high master. I'm in high diamond and I play against masters all the time and I know from that personal experience that neither me nor my opponent are multitasking really, if we split our focus it becomes very apparent during the replays.
21:21 really characterizes this entire video. Mines trying to path past hydras while unstimmed marines lose a fight they should have won. This guy's obviously not entirely incompetent, but really really needs to work on micro.
The interesting thing is that, even though he didn't micro at all, if he had simply sent his "multitask" groups out with A-moves instead of move commands, he might've won. So many of the fights were his units dying without ever firing a shot as they try to walk through the zerg army. Also, it would've helped him if he just stopped making any mines or tanks. They're great units, sure, but I think you can count the number of times the mines and tanks were actually able to fire on a single hand each.
I agree - he move-commanded his squads to some random locations for a new, "surprising" attack angle. But due to map layout and creep, the Zerg saw it coming from miles away. What I do not get is, that his camera was looking at it. Whenever I rally troops to some spot on the map and my troops just die, I usually look at my base, building stuff etc.
I swear every one of these submissions only makes the race of the submitter seem OP. In this case, terran had negative micro in every single fight, somehow managed a 10k resource lost deficit in a TvZ, and still managed to be kind of in the game still. This is something I would submit as the zerg player for terran being imbalanced.
For a Plat player, he's focusing macro so hard that he was able to stay in the game. I remember when I was in the silver league, I always try to blink micro, try to fungal, storm, feedback etc. Even I was floating in minerals. He simply produced more stuff but threw them. I think he is on the right path, he can later add micro. Macro is more important in lower leagues.

I really love how we start this game with raising a depot last section and to block the path of the SVC making the second depot and move commanding the first two marines this leaving the overlord at like 4hp causing a scan to be used later.
