Hi! April 2024 graduate…I’ve been doing the 20/4 hour squeaky clean protocol since I started the course and still going strong. I find myself less and less stressed about food and the choices I make and my weight is steadily dropping-not extremely fast, but steady over time, so believe Dy Ann when she stresses consistency over time! It works. I have had a couple of days that I “ebbed and flowed” because I didn’t want to miss out on my life-like this past Friday when I took my Mom (she’s 76 and a cancer survivor) to get a manicure and pedicure and she also wanted to have lunch. It was a later lunch, but still a couple of hours before my feasting window. I chose not to miss the moment with her. I made a reasonable food choice and enjoyed my time with her. I weighed Saturday and was down another pound + then flowed right back into my 20/4. I didn’t stress over eating or not eating with her. I felt confident in my decision and moved on-there was no feeling like a failure or feeling guilt because I “broke my diet” - there’s no diet to break. It’s such a good feeling. Thank you Dy Ann! 😊💕😊

My mother recently died and I self sabotaged myself up just a few pounds but I have to say it took a lot of eating for me to self sabotage. I'm back on track now. I was afraid that the stress would be too much for me. My brain has since calmed down and now I feel more in control of myself. The hard decision at her death and with hospice felt so hard and I didn't want to feel. But I'm back to feeling again and fasting. Doing some inner child work and praying a lot too. thank you for all of the wonderful videos.

I am so grateful that I have found you, I truly believe this is the most valuable piece of information I have ever heard regarding fasting!! I am new to your channel and put in practice the principles you explained. I did however have some questions at first about crystal light and coffee creamer lol. But you answered my questions with a question! And I cut those things immediately out and I have never seen such fast and effortless results that I have experienced doing only 3 simple things I did to tweak my fasting journey that wasn’t working for me.. after doing these 3 things I have lost 7 lbs in the past week..I no longer have that brain fog, and tired fatigued feeling anymore, I feel amazing!! I increased my fasting time to 20hrs, I cut the creamer in my coffee, and tracked my water!! THANK YOU 🙏 THANK YOU!!

I did very well with this when I followed it a couple years ago but after listening to you for months I decided I could be " one of those people" to get off my thyroid med and Doctor allowed it which was disastrous for me. In addition to that not being able to keep the 20-hour clean fast though I continued IF 12-16+ now I'm in a place where I have to get the weight off again 😣
No one, not even doctor mentioned weight gain as side effect of quitting thyroid med. Of course I know it was a combination with the lack of 20 hr fast.
Unhappy and discouraged but glad i found this video today.

Dear Dy Ann, thanks so much for this diet. Finally something that works and is worth the effort. It is actually not that hard to fast 20 hours, my problem is how to feast the 4 hours as you feel full so quickly by having just one meal. Could you pls make a video with few ideas how to feast efficiently in the 4 hours window and also with benefit for our bodies. Perhaps throw around some scenarios and everyone can pick what suits them. That would be soooo useful! Thank you!

I think that my body might go into a starvation mode and hoard the food therefore gaining even more if I do 20;4 is there a trick for this not to happen? Lost 36 LB over 3 months in 2016 using IF. I kept fasting and even pushed a couple of 48 hour fasts. Was great for a long time. I exercise, golf and don’t eat grains or dairy. Even doing that, I have steadily gained back 20 lb since 2020. I recently pushed to a 20 hour fast, shifted my fast to begin at 2 PM and gained 2lbs!😱
I’m flummoxed. I can fast without hunger. I think my metabolism has shut down. I’m exhausted. Just turned 64 and getting depressed. My wardrobe is to tight again. Any ideas?
I’m at the gym now still committed to strength no matter what. 13:00

Hello , new to your channel, Dy Ann, and shamefully confessing a rookie when it comes to fasting and how it works ?!
Basically, the instruction on board, you explain, about one side "fasting" (presumably no food for 12 hours ? is this correct?)
Then, below on the chart, is the "fasted state" from 12 hours to 20 hours - ( again, presuming, this is the time to eat ? In other words, a window of 8 hours to eat ? is this correct ?)
Also, wondered does the starting at '0' represents starting at midnight to midday ?
Then, from midday to, for example a window up to 8 pm is for eating meals ?
    Thankyou, 🙂

Saw you today for the first time and subbed. I have done IF many times over the years, and also have done longer fasts. I usually just eat twice a day, but my weak spot is the evening hours where I want to have yoghurt or popcorn 😟. I do really struggle with belly fat. I’m turning 78 in two days and would like to set a goal of losing some of that, at least. I’ll research your channel. I appreciate how well spoken you are. Thank you!

Hello Dear, Just started following your channel. Thanks for all you do. I know this is totally off topic, but if you don't mind sharing, wanted to ask you abt the precancerous polyp video you did abt 2 years ago. Did they tell you how big and what kind of polyps you had? I just had a routine colonoscopy and was found to have 3 polyps, maybe precancerous😢😢. Waiting for the doctor call. How are you doing now?

Even though I had joined a friend in a fasting challenge I was not getting results fasting 16/8. Until I stumbled on to your page , desperate to learn more about fasting and why I wasn’t seeing results. I actually was feeling like I was being punished everyday, lol fasting was not enjoyable.
