The opening guitar piece was Nancy having a showpiece for how talented a player she actually is. Especially in the early days, it was easy to get overshadowed by Ann's powerful voice.
Nancy almost never plays that opening the same when playing live, even though she always follows the same theme. She teases the audience by starting each line sort of the same, then going off in a completely different but equally beautiful direction. She is _amazing._
Nancy is as good a singer as Ann is. She actually harmonizes above Ann in many songs. She also fronts "These Dreams" and shows off her vocal prowess also.
"I was a willow, last night in my dream, I bent down over a clear runnin' stream, and I sang you a song that I heard from above, and you kept me alive with your sweet flowing love". My favorite verse. Great reaction:-)
What's so amazing is how Nancy's voice accelerates from velvety flow to white hot torrent at the end...I agree...such a powerful verse and classic delivery.

That acoustic intro by Nancy Wilson (lead singer Ann's sister) is one of the top acoustic intros of all time. Would be hard to play by anyone. You should find a video of Nancy playing it live. Each time she does it she plays it slightly differently. I agree on Heart's cover of "Stairway to Heaven" at Kennedy Center. Top performance of all time. Ann knocks it out of the park.
Heart singing Stairway to Heaven at the Kennedy Center is totally the best. Also listen to the official music video of "These Dreams"... a bit of a quieter song, but very powerful vocals.
Nancy destroys with that acoustic guitar in this song and of course Ann kills with her vocals. You guys should really react to a video of them playing this song!!!
Which begs the question, what is more important to non musicians, instruments or singing? If you sing well you get allll the credit and it sucks. So I did both and made some actual money.
So many great Heart songs -- I've seen them in concert 5 times & they are always fabulous. Check out Magic Man, Barracuda, Magazine, Dog & Butterfly, Love Alive, Alone, & especially Little Queen! And yes, Ann Wilson never missed a note.
Sadly, only seen them once but it was like 10 years ago and they still kicked ass on stage. They were technically opening for Def Leppard but their show was almost as long. Love all their stuff except the one song they also hate(sadly it got them more MTV/VH1 airplay than anything else), "All I Want To Do Is Make Love To You". It just did not seem like a song that fit anything about them. It fit more with a band like Roxette.
I love the way this song melds the soft and hard sides of Heart so well. Weaving the two moods in and out while maintaining a smooth flow. This is Heart's masterwork.
Must react to hearts cover of Led Zeppelin’s, “stairway to heaven“! Part of their appearance at the Kennedy Center honors… Led Zeppelin, live performance, exceptional
I saw them in concert back in 1978 and it was like being in the presence of GREATNESS. They were very under recognized because they were women in the 1970s.
@Becky Chapman Me to. The first time I heard them I cried. I saw them in Toronto, Canada at Maple Leaf Gardens. They opened for Rod Stewart's "Do You Think I'm Sexy Tour". I remember those days! Everything was so exciting!
"I was a willow last night in a dream, I bent down over a clear running stream, and sang you the song that I heard up above, and you kept me alive with your sweet flowing love..."
Ann Wilson is the bar for female vocals for rock music. Great reaction and thanks for sharing. Magic Man is another must hear for Heart as well as Dog & Butterfly and Dreamboat Annie; the last two lets you hear their softer side. Chris
Man... Ann Wilson is great, but I can't help but feel Pat Benatar is the bar for female rock vocalists. It's hard to go wrong with either choice, though.
This makes my heart happy. To see young people discovering the music of my childhood and loving and appreciating it is so beautiful. You guys made me go back in time to when I was a little kid listening to the radio and discovering this phenomenal band all over again. ❤
In fairness, that's kind of a low bar to clear when you consider the garbage that teens & young adults have to choose from today. No musicality whatsoever- just murmured profanity over generic, recycled beats. And then you have the absolutely dreadful music videos they're given that exist solely for the record labels to sell product placement rights to the mega-corporations pushing their latest piece of overpriced crap that's manufactured in China
" I was a willow, last night in a dream And I bent down over a clear running stream, I sang you a sung that I heard up above And you kept me alive with your sweet flowing love!" Its not an all female band by the way. The guys and the band we actually quite talented as well. But yeah Ann and Nancy totally rock!
They have a solid band, but Anne and Nancy really are the band. It's a lot like The Carpenters, where Karen and Richard steal the spotlight and are always the face of the band.
Linda Ronstadt has a "zero to one hundred" vocal moment on BLUE BAYOU, the authorized live video of the song. It is really quite stunning. Starts off soft, quiet, and then BOOM, that incredible powerful voice she had. Good gracious. WOW. Cannot wait to see their reaction to it and hope the have her on a Female Friday soon with this.
These ladies are in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for a reason and it's well earned. They rock. Glad you enjoyed this one and hope you explore more of Heart in the future.
That guitar intro was brought to you by the amazing Nancy Wilson. Her sister Ann is the vocalist, but Nancy sings a few of their songs as well. "These dreams" is an amazing song that showcases Nancy's vocal ability.
The studio version is great, but you need to see them do it in a live setting... Just to see Nancy Wilson do her kick at the end of her acoustic opening.
I was lucky enough to see Heart twice in concert. The second time, Ann's voice actually made the amplifiers start to crackle and without missing a beat, she immediately reduced the power of her voice and the amps stopped crackling. That happened 3 different times. We were all amazed. Thanks
I actually got to eat lunch with Anne n Nancy. I work as a stage tech and was a very long day for me and then I was sent to my lunch break. Ended up at same table with them. Was an amazing experience for me.
My wife and I saw them in concert two years ago in Miami Florida and they were amazing! Nancy showed off her guitar talents and Ann's voice was as strong and beautiful as it was back in the 70's. You can't really appreciate how great Ann's voice is until you hear her live. Two major talents who lost nothing over the years.
I was a willow last night in a dream I bent down over a clear running stream I sang you the song I heard up above and you kept me alive with your Sweet Flowing LOVE!
Well, "These Dreams" is quite different from this style, with Nancy instead of Ann handling the lead vocals. "Dog and Butterfly" also gives you a different take on their talent.
"I was a willow last night in a dream. I bent down over a clear running stream and sang you a song that I heard from above - and you kept me alive with your sweet flowing love." The lyrics to this song are as great as the music.
Have a listen to “Dog and Butterfly”. Not sure if there is a video for it, but the song is amazing. It’s on the album of the same name. Thanks, and keep up the awesome content.
There are some songs that are just incredible with headphones. Heart in general are good but magic man is the next level. Try something you may not have heard. Men at work " maria" or over kill hope you enjoy remember good headphones.
🥀 Hi ! I know you're probably not getting into the comments for this video anymore. I just wanted to expound on the powerhouse voice Ann Wilson brings to the performances, plus the struggles for her in the years to come. She's had so much backlash over her weight gain that it has hurt her career over and over. That voice of hers has stayed true no matter what her "weight" was !!! And even to this day she pounds those notes out perfectly !!! She deserves the highest praises and everyone who wants to squash her as a person/artist/performer, needs to finally let it go, and just walk away !!! Leave her in peace, she's earned her place as one of the all-time greatest female rock voices in history !! 😘❤️🙋🏻♀️
I was trying to think of a good song for the girls when a song that came out when I was 3 years old popped into my brain: "The Candy Man," by Sammy Davis, Jr. After all these years I still remember that song.
My senior year in high school, "Dreamboat Annie" was playing on my radio above the sink at the donut shop I worked at. Heart reminds me of life at 17. (I'm 62 now) Ann Wilson is married to Cameron Crowe and wrote most of the music for the movie "Almost Famous". If you ever do movie reactions, that is a flick you should check out.
This was a time when every young person would be packed into their cars on summer evenings and out cruising the mainstreets and heading to whatever place was a good place to hangout . So much energy , so much fun , a great time to be that age . Those warm summer evenings with everybody cruising around with the windows down and cars full of people singing along to those great tunes. .
Dreamboat Annie is one of the greatest debut albums ever! My favorite song off of Dreamboat Annie is "How Deep It Goes" and as Ann has introduced it: "another love song from Seattle." More of a ballad, it shows off Ann's more tender vocals. Beautiful.
I love these sisters too, had the pleasure of seeing them live back in the day and they do an awesome concert. Magic Man is another great song of theirs. I also am in agreement with many that recommended their performance at the Kennedy Center honoring Led Zeplin, they did Stairway to Heaven justice! Robert Plant literally had to wipe away tears while watching them.
The lead vocal, as you probably know, is Ann Wilson. The opening acoustic guitar introduction was by Nancy Wilson, Ann's little sister. That mystery lyric was: "I was a willow last night in a dream, I bent down over a clear-running stream. I sang you a song that I heard up above and you kept me alive with your sweet flowing love."
My first rock album I bought growing up because it was women dominating the rock scene! I was so blown away by her voice…God blessed Ann with this voice!
Kick ass song! Well crafted Rock song with lots guitar sounds and styles (3 guitarists in the band!) and great drums (albeit, with some tastey overdubs), along with Ann’s fiery vocal work. You should listen to “Magic Man” and “Straight On For You”. Also check out a tune recorded/released live, on their Dog & Butterfly” album, called “Cook With Fire”. Incredible rocker!
Ann Wilson is freakin' AMAZING!! I saw Heart in concert, and the test of a great band is how they sound in concert, and Heart was sooo tight! Nancy Wilson is the guitarist at the beginning of the song, and Nancy crushes the guitar!! They are both fabulous!! The whole band ROCKS!!
"Straight On" is what you're looking for y'all! It's their 70's banger that hits hard like "Barracuda". Great reaction & discussion on Nancy's amazing voice!
Can we get Sade some love on Female Fridays, please! No Ordinary Love, Cherish the Day, Kiss Of Life (got Amber's sax she like!).. anything by Sade except Smooth Operator, which is one of her biggest hits. Not her best though.
I totally agree with you. In my opinion Anne Wilson is the only one who has the chops to do Stairway To Heaven complete justice. If you get a chance to see this video, do it.
After listening to this for 40+ years I still get shivers when I hear the "I was a willow...." and then ends with that enormous, amazing "l-o-v-e". Thanks for reacting to this....love it!
Bless your family, and best of luck on the baby. Amber's been a trooper; puttin' out all this work while she's about to pop!! Can't wait for an update and for little fella to make his debut; when y'all are ready of course. It would be cool to find a legendary song to react to when he first comes on, and then you can show him the video when he's older.
Lets remember that many 70s records were meant to listen as a whole like watching a movie. Dreamboat Annie was their debut album and it starts with Magic Man. Magic Man definitely should be your next one.
Ann’s voice is still out there ROCKING and nailing it. Attended four of her concerts this summer and she is still SO powerful. G.O.A.T. rock singers! IMO 💜🤩💜
I saw them with Joan Jet in 2019 they all rocked so hard and sang so well. it could have been 1977. Plus it was an outdoor concert in 95 degree heat. Only concession? Joan took her leather Jacket off!
Hi J and Amber..respectfully informing you that we who grew up in the age of power rock are very aware of this band and many others who produced such phenominally great music..the raw power and channeled talent is what that era was all about..and the list is extensive..there is sadly very few artists these days who even get my attn...if you missed that era ..you have to appreciate the dynamics of the times ..Heart..Linda Ronstadt..Blondie..Pat Benetar..Martha and the Muffins ..Carole Pope..et al..these ladies gave their all to rock music..they deserve the adoration they recieve ..from yourselves and others..you have the best channel ..love you both..sincerely Jimmy..lead guitarist of the rock group " THE GIANTS "
Just yesterday I heard this on the radio, and my first thought was "Female Friday"!! And here it is! Next Heart reaction: "Magic Man" and my favorite, a gentle ballad (for Amber) called "Dog and Butterfly."
A cool soft song from " Heart " is called " Dog and Butterfly ". I promise Amber that you'll be hooked on Heart even more. Love your reactions. You two are the best. Thank you.
@@skyepuppy7763 I once had a dog named “Skye”. We always called her “ Skye Puppy “…. I still miss her. But, yeah, Heart is a great band. Not a lot of female lead hard rock bands in the mid/ early 70s. Since they began, they never took much time off…they are still active and they still sound great
Dolly "Coat of Many Colors" would be great for the girls and Debbie Gibson any of her songs are fun and kid friendly. Also Cyndi Lauper Girls Just Wanna Have Fun or True Colors would be AWESOME for the girls to react too!
I personally think Cyndi Lauper is one of the most underrated singers of all time. People loved her fun side (Girls Just Wanna Have Fun) but her True Colors is a classic with beautiful lyrics.
The beginning acoustic guitar playing is the lead singer's sister. As crafty and gifted vocally Ann Wilson is, her sister Nancy equals that with her guitar playing. Edit: Song's lyrics were written by Ann and she did while coming down from doing shrooms for the very first time. During her shroom high that night, she started to worry about how the current world could end in a nuclear war at any time. And because she was currently madly in love at the time, she felt each time she's with that love, she will make love to that love of her life as though the world is at its end.
You need to a reaction to their cover of Stairway to Heaven. It's with LED Zepplin in the audience at the Kennedy Center Honors. You can thank me later!
I absolutely love Heart. I went to their concert in the 80's in Hampton, Va. We wouldn't let them off the stage. They kept going and it was awesome. Oh and Cheap Trick was the opener. Totally awesome concert! Good luck Amber, I sure hope you welcome your new baby soon.
Thank you both for a wonderful video. I am new to the channel, I turned 63 last month and I have found your channel. :) I would love to share a story about when I saw Heart in 1976 touring for this album, I hope you will enjoy. I saw them live from about 100 ft, good seats. As Nancy was starting the intro A drunk guy jumped on his seat and screamed out to those around him, " you know what's coming " and they screamed Crazy On You . At that point I looked at Nancy , she grinned , looked at Ann and the band and the band shifted into the song Magic Man ( Suggest you listen to the whole album it is great ) The drunk sat down so embarrassed, it was a glorious night. I would love if you could do some Pat Benetar.( I have a great story for that one too ) Have a great day and thanks for letting me share.

Which begs the question, what is more important to non musicians, instruments or singing? If you sing well you get allll the credit and it sucks. So I did both and made some actual money.
There’s one from Midnight Special that’s incredible. In their primes, killing it.
So many great Heart songs -- I've seen them in concert 5 times & they are always fabulous. Check out Magic Man, Barracuda, Magazine, Dog & Butterfly, Love Alive, Alone, & especially Little Queen! And yes, Ann Wilson never missed a note.
Their 'Live in Seattle' videos are spectacular and Alone is one of the best from that show!
COOL!!! I saw them 4 times!!! They are even better in PERSON!!!
Heart is one of the bes t ROCK BANDS to come out of the 1970s
They already reacted to Barracuda so this isn't their first time hearing Heart.
Love what you said about her voice. There is no buildup, because that high note is where she LIVES!!! Excellent reaction.
I love the way this song melds the soft and hard sides of Heart so well. Weaving the two moods in and out while maintaining a smooth flow. This is Heart's masterwork.
Definitely a masterpiece from them, that's for sure!
Must react to hearts cover of Led Zeppelin’s, “stairway to heaven“! Part of their appearance at the Kennedy Center honors… Led Zeppelin, live performance, exceptional
Have to do the live Led Zeppelin performance of it first from Madison Square Gardens!
Thanks for mentioned it. I had the same thought. The build up, just amazing.
🎯👍👍
A great Female Friday cover of Stairway to Heaven is Dolly Parton's version. It's a doozy in my opinion.
I saw them in concert back in 1978 and it was like being in the presence of GREATNESS.
They were very under recognized because they were women in the 1970s.
1978 was their best tour ever, imho. And I have been a fan for 47 years.
@Becky Chapman Me to. The first time I heard them I cried. I saw them in Toronto, Canada at Maple Leaf Gardens. They opened for Rod Stewart's "Do You Think I'm Sexy Tour". I remember those days! Everything was so exciting!
@@Rottimail It really was!
Chris
Magic man is awesome!
Man... Ann Wilson is great, but I can't help but feel Pat Benatar is the bar for female rock vocalists. It's hard to go wrong with either choice, though.
Dog & butterfly is much softer and another great Heart song. Check it out!
Ann Wilson is one of the greatest rock voices of all time. Currently Floor Jansen is my pick for top female vocalist.
Must check out Hearts cover of
Stairway to Heaven
Live from the Kennedy Center
One of the best performances that you will ever see.
The best cover ever
" I was a willow, last night in a dream
And I bent down over a clear running stream,
I sang you a sung that I heard up above
And you kept me alive with your sweet flowing love!"
Its not an all female band by the way. The guys and the band we actually quite talented as well. But yeah Ann and Nancy totally rock!
He took her from behind...👌
They have a solid band, but Anne and Nancy really are the band. It's a lot like The Carpenters, where Karen and Richard steal the spotlight and are always the face of the band.
Linda Ronstadt has a "zero to one hundred" vocal moment on BLUE BAYOU, the authorized live video of the song. It is really quite stunning. Starts off soft, quiet, and then BOOM, that incredible powerful voice she had. Good gracious. WOW. Cannot wait to see their reaction to it and hope the have her on a Female Friday soon with this.
YES YES YES....TO LINDA RONSTADT
omg please do blue bayoooouuuuuu
amazing
You would both love their song, “Straight On”. It’s got some funky ole soul to it!
These ladies are in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for a reason and it's well earned. They rock. Glad you enjoyed this one and hope you explore more of Heart in the future.
MAGIC MAN!!!
That guitar intro was brought to you by the amazing Nancy Wilson. Her sister Ann is the vocalist, but Nancy sings a few of their songs as well. "These dreams" is an amazing song that showcases Nancy's vocal ability.
Heart's FIRST number ONE
In the 70s HEART ROCKED ,Enough said ,,,,,, This was 1976
The studio version is great, but you need to see them do it in a live setting...
@@talon7132 I'm happy for you that you got that experience. And a little jealous...
I think you'll love Ann's virtuosity in "Alone" and Nancy's mellow and lovely voice in "These Dreams" 💖
Crazy on you has one of the most epic acoustic guitar intros by Nancy Wilson.
"I was a willow last night in a dream. I bent down over a clear running stream and sang you a song that I heard from above - and you kept me alive with your sweet flowing love." The lyrics to this song are as great as the music.
This song & "Magic Man" - epic legendary songs by Heart. Put on a great live show.
Go back to the 70s Any thing
Have a listen to “Dog and Butterfly”. Not sure if there is a video for it, but the song is amazing. It’s on the album of the same name. Thanks, and keep up the awesome content.
For sure..!
I looked and there is.
I had the exact same thought when they asked for a kid-friendly suggestion.
I love that song. There harmonies are so perfect and pure
Must be next song, please!
Heart is the most powerful female group ever. Magic Man is my favorite song by them and shows again, how versatile they are.
2 girls with 5 guys doing the work!
So you are calling the 3 men, females???
YES definitely a good one!!
Yes!!! I have asked for the same thing!!
Completely different sound than Heart -- haha -- but yeah, that's a fun song.
@@breckrichardson390 That's the truth! :)
Oh, I get it now. Just heard them say they want something kid friendly.
Ann Wilson is in my opinion, one of the best female vocalist I've EVER heard!
Huge Heart fan from the beginning. I used to save my babysitting money to buy their albums on vinyl. Her voice still gives me goosebumps. Best ever!
My senior year in high school, "Dreamboat Annie" was playing on my radio above the sink at the donut shop I worked at. Heart reminds me of life at 17. (I'm 62 now)
Ann Wilson is married to Cameron Crowe and wrote most of the music for the movie "Almost Famous". If you ever do movie reactions, that is a flick you should check out.
Oops! Nancy Wilson used to be married to Cameron Crowe.
Yep. I’m 62 too and I have Dreamboat Annie on 8 track. I still have all my 8 tracks. They remind me of a good time to grow up.
I totally agree with you takes me back and also the Dreamboat Annie was the 1st eight track I bought. Oops just really really dated myself😆😭
This was a time when every young person would be packed into their cars on summer evenings and out cruising the mainstreets and heading to whatever place was a good place to hangout . So much energy , so much fun , a great time to be that age . Those warm summer evenings with everybody cruising around with the windows down and cars full of people singing along to those great tunes. .
@@charlielightfoot7006 Oops is right. Thank you. I revisited this and almost made the correction. Decided to let my goof shine the way. :)
This is one of my absolute top favourite songs ever. Criminally underrated. Glad you got to enjoy this greatness.
Thanks for sharing!
Dreamboat Annie is one of the greatest debut albums ever! My favorite song off of Dreamboat Annie is "How Deep It Goes" and as Ann has introduced it: "another love song from Seattle." More of a ballad, it shows off Ann's more tender vocals. Beautiful.
Sing child sing is madd cool 😎
How Deep it Goes and Soul of the Sea are two deeper cuts that deserve a listen. So beautiful
Love White Lightning
This album is still in my all time top 5...
Dude...the WHOLE album Dreamboat Annie is amazing! These two need to listen to it from front to back and just enjoy!
Yes, I was going to mention that that was Nancy on the intro
Nancy is such an underrated guitarist
@@JeffMartinEquinox beautiful!!!!
I've always thought that the Dog & Butterfly album is a true gem, and sadly a bit overlooked.
HEART was at the pinnacle of success and then Anne And nancy destroyed the band by firing them. After that, heart were a decent cover band.
One of the best live acts I have been fortunate to see
"Straight On" is what you're looking for y'all!
Not her best though.
ohhhh good one! She's amazing!
Yes! Love Sade. She would be a perfect pick for FF.
Absolutely. And Coincidentally, I heard a SADE song on LA radio 94.7....just yesterday
Definitely need to do Sade! Another great song for Amber would be, "Your Love is King."
I love Sade. Soldier of Love is great,
Their cover of Stairway to Heaven, at the Kennedy Center Honors, is one of the best covers ever.
Yeah really need to check that out
They did an amazing job with Kashmir also with Jason Bonham on drums.
ua-cam.com/video/OsxnqOv06xE/v-deo.html&ab_channel=MarceloSena
Yes you really need to check this out
I totally agree with you. In my opinion Anne Wilson is the only one who has the chops to do Stairway To Heaven complete justice. If you get a chance to see this video, do it.
Have they done the original?
Love the LIVE early version. Still, love Heart and thank you for your reactions!
A legendary song would be Danny's Song by Kenny Loggins - ua-cam.com/video/322_GED6Ccs/v-deo.html - It will bring a tear of joy to your eye.
Beautiful Boy byJohn Lennon!
@@angelleach6866 perfect!!!!!!
@@sassytbc7923 thanks! I think it might take Jordan down tho. 🥺
Omg ANN is insane on vocals, but Nancy on guitar is next level.. hell yes!! HEART rocks!!!
Lets remember that many 70s records were meant to listen as a whole like watching a movie. Dreamboat Annie was their debut album and it starts with Magic Man. Magic Man definitely should be your next one.
Heart has a special place in my life. They were my very first concert on a double bill with Kansas.
Never knew they toured together but, what a great pairing.
Thank you for understanding why we love Heart so much!!
Ann's voice is a V O L C A N O in this song. Molten lava in musical form flows and spews from her vocal cords. That's skill!
*Lita Ford*
Songs: *Kiss Me Deadly* and a duet with Ozzy Osborne *Close My Eyes Forever*
Such an amazing guitar player.
The live version from 2013 is simply stunning. Anne's voice was awesome to start with but with age it has become out of this world.
I still own this album after 40yrs, grew up on heart, one of the best 😊
Please do ‘Alone’ Heart at their 80’s best! Everyone talks about Anne’s vocals but Nancy’s backing vocals on this track are EPIC
Nancy sings lead on "These Dreams".
Yes yes please do Alone, also who will you run to my favs
They sucked in the 80s. Even they didn't like the corporate "rock" they were going into.
Alone is for sure the most memorable song from Heart in my opinion
A cool soft song from " Heart " is called " Dog and Butterfly ". I promise Amber that you'll be hooked on Heart even more.
Love your reactions. You two are the best. Thank you.
Im hooked on you two.ima old northern canadian white dude,,you guys are melting my old bones.luv.
Great choice! You want to hear Heart get funky listen to "Straight On". You'll love it!
I think "Magic Man" is their best song and I think you'd really like Ann's vocals in "Straight on For You".
yeah, right! great tune. great band
Straight On is a GREAT song for cruising down the road.
@@skyepuppy7763 I once had a dog named “Skye”. We always called her “ Skye Puppy “…. I still miss her. But, yeah, Heart is a great band. Not a lot of female lead hard rock bands in the mid/ early 70s. Since they began, they never took much time off…they are still active and they still sound great
You two really need to hear and see the live version! You'll love it !!
Dolly "Coat of Many Colors" would be great for the girls and Debbie Gibson any of her songs are fun and kid friendly. Also Cyndi Lauper Girls Just Wanna Have Fun or True Colors would be AWESOME for the girls to react too!
I agree with Debbie Gibson for kid friendly
Yea for "Coat of Many Colors".
I personally think Cyndi Lauper is one of the most underrated singers of all time. People loved her fun side (Girls Just Wanna Have Fun) but her True Colors is a classic with beautiful lyrics.
For some soft rock from Heart, check out "Dog and Butterfly" and "Dreamboat Annie".
YES!!! That was a performance of a lifetime!!
I have watched it MAYBE 25 TIMES Its SOOOO 70s , LOVE IT ,, And Heart And THE ZEP
One of my favorite Heart tunes. Those gals were/are CRAZY AWESOME! Y'all should do Ricky Lee Jones "Danny's All Star Joint" on one of your Female Fridays!
Such a great tune! Very underrated artist and wayyyy ahead of her time.
Oh, yes. Rickey Lee Jones with her jazzy Danny’s All Star Joint is a must listen.
Great suggestion ! Wilburn Reacts did that recently and his appreciation of it kinda surprised me. Excellent channel btw.
