Jon added lyrics and no doubt contributed to the sound, but Trevor Horn needs his credit due as well. This track appears to be immediately after Jon recorded his voice on Cinema’s (Rabin, Squire, White) demo. Rabin’s original acoustic version sounds a little more like the final track. The prechorus here definitely sounds like Squire’s contribution, and this time, I’m glad it was cut!
I think it would of without it being called Yes. Since Asia in '82 being a big success you had prog bands going pop for years so without that idea there was no way it was going to work. Horn Anderson ZTT productions plus the guts of this demo was angle. However the work Squier/White did with Page would've been big

He got rid of all the extraneous rock'n'roll "one-way ticket" and "scared of romancing" bits, and the more obvious chord changes, and transformed it from Kiss into Yes. It takes a great ear, and a very decisive personality, to hear a demo like that and visualise (auralise?) a glittering finished product such as OOALH.
Trevor Horn was the one responsible for the end result. He was famous in the 80s for completely rewriting work that became ultra-successful. The best example is 'Relax' by Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Trevor Horn reworked it so much that there were effectively no original contributions of the band (apart from vocals) left on the final track.
I remember in March of 1982 hearing "Heat of The Moment" recognizing Howe and Downes and at first thinking it was Yes with Wetton (since he was singing on the track) replacing Squire at Bass. The DJ announced that it was a successful progressive mashup called "Asia" with Wetton, Howe, Downes, and Palmer. I was-wondering what had happened to Squire, White, and Horn...now I know that Kaye rejoined and then they joined forces with Rabin to form Cinema....and with Anderson replacing Horn (and Horn moving to the producer slot)...they would be Yes once again...and deliver 90125. This is an AWESOME! account of Yes in 1981-82!! "Run with the Fox" fits in with these songs. "Run with the Fox" was Alan White and Chris Squire from 1981 and was a special Christmas release. It predates Cinema by a few months, but it was a lone single. Definitely from the same era.
My understanding was that Kaye was added on in name only, pretty much after everything was in the can. I don't think he's playing on the album at all - all the keyboards are the Trevors. Kaye was so late in the game that it's Eddie Jobson and not Kaye who appears in the "Owner" video.
Here's something that will really blow your mind: Trevor Rabin was the origional lead singer on the ASIA song Only Time Will Tell! This was pre Cinema but just before. He was working with Wetton and Palmer at the time. There's a demo somewhere on youtube with Rabin singing lead and Wetton singing backup on the song, the recording is crap but you can tell it would have been awesome with Trevor on lead vocals! Not sure why Rabin left but I don't think he was forced out by Howe and Downes, I think he was gone before they joined ASIA.

(I must've made Looney Toons' Roadrunner look like a snail... 😂) By the time this was announced, it was to be called "80102" though. Only later the title was changed to "90125", which is the catalog number. Still got it, of course...

This is fantastic! Interesting to hear how the music to "Moving In" replaced the music in the original version of "Hold On." It's cool to hear that heavy guitar riff from "Fools" was used in "Hearts," which was built around Kaye's beautiful intro. I think "Hearts" was the only true group effort song that was written after Jon came on board. Also, this is the first time I've ever heard the original demo version of "Owner of a Lonely Heart." Amazing what production value Trevor Horn gave to the final version of 90125.

The most interesting thing to me about this is that there is supposedly a 20-minutes-plus version of "Cinema" in the vaults somewhere. I wish that a finished version of it that would be considerably longer than the excerpt that we get on "90125" would be released. I also wish that ARW would have come up with a live version that was longer than what they played on the tours. Would be interesting to hear what Rick would do with it if he had more runway to work with ... thank you for sharing this.

He brought some catchy riffs and ideas. It was Horn who brought it to fruition. Maybe Chris and Alan had some input as well that turned these bombastic demos into the timeless album it became?
Actually it was Trevor Horn who rewrote Owner of a Lonely Heart, despite strong objections from Rabin. And Jon hated the lyrics. He got just that one line in “watch it now, the eagle in the sky...” and Horn added the subtle gunshot sound effect to signify shooting that eagle out of the sky LOL
I had the privilege of seeing YES in 1985 in Rock in Rio here at Brazil. It was the band without Steve Howe but in compensation with Tony Kaye's return. At the time, I as a fan twisted the nose for the LP 90125, which also did not like drama of 1980. Anyway, looking at their work today, I have to admit that 90125 was a good LP, listening to this work that Keith Bradbury published me comes to mind as if yes should not have returned ... but as cinema, even with Jon vocals. Here in Latin America, the information has been distorted about the band, except when a member comes here and speaks directly on those occurring. Another thing, I think all the artist has to have the freedom to do whatever it suits him, even if sometimes bothers the fans. Note: I still do not like drama. Hugs!
Fascinating to hear how they spliced Moving In and Hold On into one great song. The Trevor Rabin versions of Owner of A Lonely Heart and a few others were so corny, though. Yes definitely needed Jon Anderson and Chris Squire to be YES.

Not to take away from Anderson's minimal contributions (as he came when the album was practically finished), but it was actually Trevor Horn (Producer, and previous band member) who complimented the "Masterpiece", and the final result of the songs. Horn truly did a superb producer's job. He himself acknowledges 90125 is the best work of his career. I believe it would have turned out completely different if Jon had had his hands on it...
Trevor Horn was 100% correct about Rabin's lyrical talent....that he had absolutely none. No offense TR, your guitar and song composition is top notch.
The stars aligned for 90125. Rabin's mid-atlantic tendencies certainly needed reigning in at several points in each song, but it was 66.6% there. This is a fascinating document demonstrating the importance of thoughtful arrangements and objective editing as well as meticulous production. A group effort with Rabin's contribution being central. Rabin's lyrics always lacked any real poetry - that just proves he's human when taking into account his hard earned, well rounded, highly musical talent. An amazing collaboration considering it was so long ago.
It’s amazing how this material sounds EXACTLY life Wolf. This is EXACTLY what these songs would sound like if they were on Wolf yet 90125 the final product hardly sounds like Wolf at all. It’s amazing how Jon, Chris, Alan, and Tony make all the difference!
It’s great to be able to hear these tracks. A few of them I’m hearing here for the first time. They show how a song develops, and how it seems almost like a premonition. It also reveals how some of the spontaneity of an early take has to be sacrificed to arrive at a more unified finished piece of music. I can appreciate punk music, but I also understand wanting to make something polished. The song “Hearts” on 90125 is a perfect example of how putting a lot of work into a song to develop it pays off. It’s as if Trevor provided the missing part of a theme that Yes had been working on since “Tormato” and “Going For the One.”

I had heard some of these before, but many I had not. Fascinating, thank you so much for compiling this. Trevor doing Brian May doing Pictures at an Exhibition was a fun listen. I'm always fascinated with the creative process and how ideas morph towards completion. Rabin is a talented guy, but the Yes input took the germs of ideas to fruition. Thanks again.

Yikes... feels like they dodged a whole lot of bullets with this. I suppose that's how the process goes though. I still love 90125 to this day, and can honestly say I have a completely new appreciation for the magic Trevor Horn worked on this.
It really sounded like some American arenas band such as Journey. Jon Anderson’s voice and touch along with Trevor Horn’s amazing production gave a real up and finesse to the sound

There's some really good material here, but I think Mr. Rabin listened to "Hold The Line" by Toto a few too many times. I'm glad that similarity was tempered by the production and rewrites in the final album. (Not busting on the song... it's a classic.) "90125" could not have happened without Trevor and the reinvigorating of Yes gave them a shot in the arm to continue making great (but very different!) music through the 80s and into the 90s.

Thanks , interesting view of the evolution of how yes writes ,I don't think "Owner" would have been the hit it became without where it evolved with Jon back in the fold ,in fact inspite of some interesting bits the whole feel here is of an average arena rock band of the era ,Interesting to note there is another completed and completely shelved album that Yes did in Paris following Tormato ,it was never released and it was to be called "talk" ,its before Trevor Rabin was involved in the band , so it was also before the first big split,apparently the band was very unhappy with the end result and shelved it , I have a rare copy of it on cd ,about 100 lp's were released within the yes camp , i acquired a copy of the lp on cd from a former employee of the band , if i can find it i'll put it up , some of the tracks such as " for Richard " and a few others have wound up on youtube under the guise of bonus unreleased studio tracks from Tormato but not all of it
Actually the album wasn’t released for many reasons, Alan White broke his ankle skying with Richard Branson from Virgin records and wasn’t able to finish the recordings, the band wasn’t satisfied with Roy Tomas Baker (from Queen) production, they were fighting and arguing all the time and both Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman spent more time on a pub in Paris, nearby the studio, than recording.
Interesting in a historical context. I keep reminding myself to not be too harsh since these are not finished tracks. One thing I don't really like is Trevor's vocals. Somehow they just grated on me after hearing them back to back to back. They all sound kind of the same and too raspy. Just a personal opinion. Very much rock-based, not so much prog, so not what I would have been into... Anyway, I appreciate bringing these together to give us a taste of what might have been!
I'm glad they turned this MESS into YES. "I'll be moving my love into you"? I'm sure their were some snickers from horn and anderson on those lyrics probably more appropriate for a kiss tune 😅as great as Rabin is he can be a bit corny
No doubt that Jon Anderson improved this from a pretty good album to a very good album. He came along when these tracks were completed. Huge difference in the final product.

Prog Power Pop with some slick metallic guitar and Horn production synth glimmer , but can never replace Anderson Howe Bruford or White on those first 3 albums or 4 ,You and I , Siberian Khatru ,Heart of the Sunrise.Changes was the best track or Rabin track on 90125 IMO.Many real Yes fans like Topographical Oceans and Relayer etc. My first Yes Album was Tormato 😅 They supposedly did a lot of Shrooms but eh. It's got a couple signature moments here and there but you know I'm not the best Yes officiando Bless the Universe and all Prog fans😊 I listened to Tempus Fugit tonight @ 2am ish why I saw this Cinema
Left to his own devices, Trevor Rabin would be a run-of-the-mill singer with generic lyrics and riffs. This would have gone nowhere. It took Trevor Horn to show him what he was good at and Jon Anderson to really turn this into something special.
@Keith Bradbury , I would also like to know where this Cinematic bootleg cd came from, because this demo version of the band Yes/Cinema is very different from the 90XYZ double bootleg cd, which I have, contains one song by Yes, four by the supergroup XYZ and twenty four from the prog band Cinema, but many Cinema recordings are not 100% good in audio quality, as there is some background noise. Some recordings of this post are the same as I have, but some are not. Also, in your Cinematic, I didn't understand a track named "Cinema", but it is also a version of "Make It Easy" An example is this version of "Make It Easy" is very cut in relation to the original that is on the 4 cd box YesYear (1991) and on the reissues on cds with bonuses of the album 90125 (1983), which, in these two official works of Yes, also contains a good version of "It Can Happen' with Chris Squire on vocals (the same as in the YesYears box on the cd reissue of 90125). On the cd reissue of the 90125 album there is also the track "It's Over", also by the band Cinema. "Make It Easy", but one is instrumental and the other is a big and worse recording, because it's from a band rehearsal that there are even lines before the song starts. Can you tell me the origin of this Cinematic? It's a cd bootleg from your collection?
Actually, this compilation is culled from a variety of sources. My goal was to create one album from the many demos and recordings known to have been created shortly before Jon Anderson rejoined. Some of the pieces were released either as bonus tracks, through Trevor Rabin, or bootlegs. I tried to take the "most complete pre-Anderson" versions I could find, focusing on riffs used on the official 90125, during the 9012Live Tour, etc, while avoiding songs which were the basis for upcoming albums (like "Big Generator" or "Talk.") My goal was to create a single album-length title that reflects what "could have been" if Jon Anderson and Trevor Horn had not become involved.
This is great, and a Cinema album would have been good alright, just more AOR and less Yes-like. With Jon's return, the sound was more yes and more prog rock, and more beautiful. cttgaegoaktd 😛😛😛😛
Not sure if anyone else will agree, but these songs remind me of Dave Porter's upstate NY band, 805. They released one fine prog-pop album on RCA, "Stand in Line", in 1982. The song structures, vocals, and especially the lead guitar really have an 805 quality to them. Until I heard "Cinematic", I wouldn't have thought Yes was as big a model for 805. (If you're curious, "Stand in Line" and other songs are available on You Tube.)
An interesting 'best guess' on the UA-cam poster's part - who is also incorrect in stating "Some of these songs are complete." (More enjoyable is Trevor's 2003 release of "90124", which includes cleaner versions of many but not all of these demos.) These are *all* demos, even if you can hear Chris on there - per the 90124 liner note quotes by Trevor Rabin, the music that was actually recorded for the Cinema album became Yes/90125 when Jon was added "at the very end". In other words, take off Jon's vocal tracks from 90125 and what you hear is closer to Cinema than any of these demos. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/90124
"Make it Easy" and "It Can Happen" were both complete productions. The first was dropped and the second was re-recorded. We know "Make it Easy" was completed prior to 90125 because it was featured live on that tour. Rabin's 90124 is great, but also contains demos that would end up on future albums (Big Generator and Talk) as well, thus this assembly does not duplicate that album. Several tracks presented here are not on 90124, but much of what was on 90124 would create the foundation of 90125.

Roger Hodgson should have been the singer-guitarist-keyboardist of the band, proof is on Trevor Rabin's ''90124'' album, there is a song called ''Walls'' and you can hear both vocals from Roger and Trevor on it.
Hodgson entered some years later into the picture (six years after the Cinema sessions). He was invited to join Yes n 1988 after Jon's departure to form ABWH; and then Rabin recorded the "Walls" demo with him (the finished track was included on the "Talk" album in 1994). But, back in 1988, the ex Supertramp didn't felt ready to commit himself to Yes. He asked Rabin to record some material as a duo instead, but it didn't happen. Their only other collaboration was when Trevor played guitar and keyboards and sang backing vocals on "The More I Look", a song of Hodgson's "Open the Door" album, in 2000.
No that’s Trevor, he’s singing all of the vocals in this version. In fact he’s playing all of instruments as well, it’s from his early demo tapes which were sent to Chris.

Trevor Rabin is an amazing talent. He's got the whole package. Great composer,musician,vocalist and producer

He brought some catchy riffs and ideas. It was Horn who brought it to fruition. Maybe Chris and Alan had some input as well that turned these bombastic demos into the timeless album it became?

Actually it was Trevor Horn who rewrote Owner of a Lonely Heart, despite strong objections from Rabin. And Jon hated the lyrics. He got just that one line in “watch it now, the eagle in the sky...” and Horn added the subtle gunshot sound effect to signify shooting that eagle out of the sky LOL
I had the privilege of seeing YES in 1985 in Rock in Rio here at Brazil. It was the band without Steve Howe but in compensation with Tony Kaye's return. At the time, I as a fan twisted the nose for the LP 90125, which also did not like drama of 1980.
Anyway, looking at their work today, I have to admit that 90125 was a good LP, listening to this work that Keith Bradbury published me comes to mind as if yes should not have returned ... but as cinema, even with Jon vocals. Here in Latin America, the information has been distorted about the band, except when a member comes here and speaks directly on those occurring.
Another thing, I think all the artist has to have the freedom to do whatever it suits him, even if sometimes bothers the fans.
Note: I still do not like drama.

Fascinating to hear how they spliced Moving In and Hold On into one great song. The Trevor Rabin versions of Owner of A Lonely Heart and a few others were so corny, though. Yes definitely needed Jon Anderson and Chris Squire to be YES.
Wow, amazing to hear how this progressed and was refined after Jon returned and it became the masterpiece that it is. I think this is an important piece to keep and worth listening to in its own right for its time and place. Thanks for sharing this!!
Not to take away from Anderson's minimal contributions (as he came when the album was practically finished), but it was actually Trevor Horn (Producer, and previous band member) who complimented the "Masterpiece", and the final result of the songs. Horn truly did a superb producer's job. He himself acknowledges 90125 is the best work of his career. I believe it would have turned out completely different if Jon had had his hands on it...

Trevor Horn was 100% correct about Rabin's lyrical talent....that he had absolutely none. No offense TR, your guitar and song composition is top notch.
The stars aligned for 90125. Rabin's mid-atlantic tendencies certainly needed reigning in at several points in each song, but it was 66.6% there. This is a fascinating document demonstrating the importance of thoughtful arrangements and objective editing as well as meticulous production. A group effort with Rabin's contribution being central. Rabin's lyrics always lacked any real poetry - that just proves he's human when taking into account his hard earned, well rounded, highly musical talent. An amazing collaboration considering it was so long ago.
As a life long YES fan of 53 years now, your opinion of Trevor Rabin's vocal abilities lacks considerably.
It’s amazing how this material sounds EXACTLY life Wolf. This is EXACTLY what these songs would sound like if they were on Wolf yet 90125 the final product hardly sounds like Wolf at all. It’s amazing how Jon, Chris, Alan, and Tony make all the difference!

Movin In immediately reminded me of Toto’s Hold The Line! Very hard rock sound! I’m so glad Anderson returned when he did!
It’s great to be able to hear these tracks. A few of them I’m hearing here for the first time. They show how a song develops, and how it seems almost like a premonition. It also reveals how some of the spontaneity of an early take has to be sacrificed to arrive at a more unified finished piece of music. I can appreciate punk music, but I also understand wanting to make something polished. The song “Hearts” on 90125 is a perfect example of how putting a lot of work into a song to develop it pays off. It’s as if Trevor provided the missing part of a theme that Yes had been working on since “Tormato” and “Going For the One.”

Yikes... feels like they dodged a whole lot of bullets with this. I suppose that's how the process goes though. I still love 90125 to this day, and can honestly say I have a completely new appreciation for the magic Trevor Horn worked on this.
It really sounded like some American arenas band such as Journey. Jon Anderson’s voice and touch along with Trevor Horn’s amazing production gave a real up and finesse to the sound

I read some years ago that SOME of these songs were demos of Trevor Rabin solo's career even previous to join to Chris Squire and released some year later in an album cold 90124
Fascinating stuff. It would have been fun to hear Squire keep his lead vocal on the album version of It Can Happen.

There's some really good material here, but I think Mr. Rabin listened to "Hold The Line" by Toto a few too many times. I'm glad that similarity was tempered by the production and rewrites in the final album. (Not busting on the song... it's a classic.)
"90125" could not have happened without Trevor and the reinvigorating of Yes gave them a shot in the arm to continue making great (but very different!) music through the 80s and into the 90s.

Thanks , interesting view of the evolution of how yes writes ,I don't think "Owner" would have been the hit it became without where it evolved with Jon back in the fold ,in fact inspite of some interesting bits the whole feel here is of an average arena rock band of the era ,Interesting to note there is another completed and completely shelved album that Yes did in Paris following Tormato ,it was never released and it was to be called "talk" ,its before Trevor Rabin was involved in the band , so it was also before the first big split,apparently the band was very unhappy with the end result and shelved it , I have a rare copy of it on cd ,about 100 lp's were released within the yes camp , i acquired a copy of the lp on cd from a former employee of the band , if i can find it i'll put it up , some of the tracks such as " for Richard " and a few others have wound up on youtube under the guise of bonus unreleased studio tracks from Tormato but not all of it

Actually the album wasn’t released for many reasons, Alan White broke his ankle skying with Richard Branson from Virgin records and wasn’t able to finish the recordings, the band wasn’t satisfied with Roy Tomas Baker (from Queen) production, they were fighting and arguing all the time and both Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman spent more time on a pub in Paris, nearby the studio, than recording.

Interesting in a historical context. I keep reminding myself to not be too harsh since these are not finished tracks. One thing I don't really like is Trevor's vocals. Somehow they just grated on me after hearing them back to back to back. They all sound kind of the same and too raspy. Just a personal opinion. Very much rock-based, not so much prog, so not what I would have been into...
Anyway, I appreciate bringing these together to give us a taste of what might have been!

No doubt that Jon Anderson improved this from a pretty good album to a very good album. He came along when these tracks were completed. Huge difference in the final product.

Prog Power Pop with some slick metallic guitar and Horn production synth glimmer , but can never replace Anderson Howe Bruford or White on those first 3 albums or 4 ,You and I , Siberian Khatru ,Heart of the Sunrise.Changes was the best track or Rabin track on 90125 IMO.Many real Yes fans like Topographical Oceans and Relayer etc. My first Yes Album was Tormato 😅 They supposedly did a lot of Shrooms but eh. It's got a couple signature moments here and there but you know I'm not the best Yes officiando Bless the Universe and all Prog fans😊 I listened to Tempus Fugit tonight @ 2am ish why I saw this Cinema
Left to his own devices, Trevor Rabin would be a run-of-the-mill singer with generic lyrics and riffs. This would have gone nowhere. It took Trevor Horn to show him what he was good at and Jon Anderson to really turn this into something special.

@Keith Bradbury , I would also like to know where this Cinematic bootleg cd came from, because this demo version of the band Yes/Cinema is very different from the 90XYZ double bootleg cd, which I have, contains one song by Yes, four by the supergroup XYZ and twenty four from the prog band Cinema, but many Cinema recordings are not 100% good in audio quality, as there is some background noise. Some recordings of this post are the same as I have, but some are not. Also, in your Cinematic, I didn't understand a track named "Cinema", but it is also a version of "Make It Easy" An example is this version of "Make It Easy" is very cut in relation to the original that is on the 4 cd box YesYear (1991) and on the reissues on cds with bonuses of the album 90125 (1983), which, in these two official works of Yes, also contains a good version of "It Can Happen' with Chris Squire on vocals (the same as in the YesYears box on the cd reissue of 90125). On the cd reissue of the 90125 album there is also the track "It's Over", also by the band Cinema. "Make It Easy", but one is instrumental and the other is a big and worse recording, because it's from a band rehearsal that there are even lines before the song starts. Can you tell me the origin of this Cinematic? It's a cd bootleg from your collection?
Actually, this compilation is culled from a variety of sources. My goal was to create one album from the many demos and recordings known to have been created shortly before Jon Anderson rejoined. Some of the pieces were released either as bonus tracks, through Trevor Rabin, or bootlegs. I tried to take the "most complete pre-Anderson" versions I could find, focusing on riffs used on the official 90125, during the 9012Live Tour, etc, while avoiding songs which were the basis for upcoming albums (like "Big Generator" or "Talk.") My goal was to create a single album-length title that reflects what "could have been" if Jon Anderson and Trevor Horn had not become involved.
This is great, and a Cinema album would have been good alright, just more AOR and less Yes-like. With Jon's return, the sound was more yes and more prog rock, and more beautiful.

Not sure if anyone else will agree, but these songs remind me of Dave Porter's upstate NY band, 805. They released one fine prog-pop album on RCA, "Stand in Line", in 1982. The song structures, vocals, and especially the lead guitar really have an 805 quality to them. Until I heard "Cinematic", I wouldn't have thought Yes was as big a model for 805. (If you're curious, "Stand in Line" and other songs are available on You Tube.)

Saw 805 at Gentleman Jims in Geneseo NY back in the day. The raw power/SPL was so great it kept kicking the breakers out!
An interesting 'best guess' on the UA-cam poster's part - who is also incorrect in stating "Some of these songs are complete." (More enjoyable is Trevor's 2003 release of "90124", which includes cleaner versions of many but not all of these demos.)
These are *all* demos, even if you can hear Chris on there - per the 90124 liner note quotes by Trevor Rabin, the music that was actually recorded for the Cinema album became Yes/90125 when Jon was added "at the very end". In other words, take off Jon's vocal tracks from 90125 and what you hear is closer to Cinema than any of these demos.

"Make it Easy" and "It Can Happen" were both complete productions. The first was dropped and the second was re-recorded. We know "Make it Easy" was completed prior to 90125 because it was featured live on that tour. Rabin's 90124 is great, but also contains demos that would end up on future albums (Big Generator and Talk) as well, thus this assembly does not duplicate that album. Several tracks presented here are not on 90124, but much of what was on 90124 would create the foundation of 90125.

Roger Hodgson should have been the singer-guitarist-keyboardist of the band, proof is on Trevor Rabin's ''90124'' album, there is a song called ''Walls'' and you can hear both vocals from Roger and Trevor on it.
Hodgson is ok, but he's not Jon Anderson.
Hodgson entered some years later into the picture (six years after the Cinema sessions). He was invited to join Yes n 1988 after Jon's departure to form ABWH; and then Rabin recorded the "Walls" demo with him (the finished track was included on the "Talk" album in 1994). But, back in 1988, the ex Supertramp didn't felt ready to commit himself to Yes. He asked Rabin to record some material as a duo instead, but it didn't happen. Their only other collaboration was when Trevor played guitar and keyboards and sang backing vocals on "The More I Look", a song of Hodgson's "Open the Door" album, in 2000.
The first version of "Owner of lonely heart" has really bad bits in it. It's cool that they erased them.

No that’s Trevor, he’s singing all of the vocals in this version. In fact he’s playing all of instruments as well, it’s from his early demo tapes which were sent to Chris.
If only they'd release "Time" (the 20-minute piece that was either condensed or excerpted into the "Cinema" instrumental on 90125).
