In all fairness to the cab driver, very honest fare.. You'd rarely encounter that kind of cab driver here, most of them over price specially if you came from another country. Kudos manong drayber, you deserve that tip..

Yellow taxi's have a higher rate. Perhaps they're paid more as well, and are more regulated, hence less temptation to overcharge?
@@fredtacang3624 ive seen a foreign vlogger. From airport to his hotel in P. Faura, he was charge 2k. He didnt know if it was overcharge or not but most pinoys in his comment section were angered by the taxi fare bec surely it was overcharge. Though i cant recall if it was airport taxi like this one. He just hopped in into the taxi that was lined up in the arrival area.

As many have said, the taxi driver gave you an honest fare. As an American that's lived here in the Philippines (Cavite), the airport taxi drivers can be very naughty lol. I once was told it would be 2k pesos (about $40) from the airport to my hotel, which was literally a 15 minute drive. I laughed and told him to either run the meter or let me out. He let me out, and I found an honest driver lol.

Wow. That driver deserves the tip. HE WAS HONEST. That's rare. Back when my mom got into the wrong airport, the taxi driver asked her 750 pesos from terminal 3 to terminal 4. FFS. Terminal 3 and 4 are only 1 km apart and he asked 750 for that?! He took advantage of my mom because she was already late for the flight. That's why I never take taxis. I either drive or call Grab.

Yeah it is, regular taxis would be much less, but it is far cheaper then the scam taxis that want to charge you 3000Php
hello, when we got scammed by fellow Filipino taxi driver in Naia 1. From Naia 1 to Tondo, Manila, he said 15 pesos per 100 meters which is 150 per km. Nasa LRT 2 pa lang kami nasa 800 pesos na babayaran namin like 5km pa lang. Akala ko legit na presyuhan yun kasi taxi from NAIA but scam pala. Nakakainis, buti na lang bumaba na kami kundi 2,000 mahigit babayaran namin.

We rarely approach foreigners first because we aren't sure of your language, If you speak and understand engish(with Filipino accent) we would definitely talk to you no problem.
