This is the first time that I've actually understood what and how to do it. Thank you. I'm making a pale yellow scarf and I think its really pretty thanks to you.
Hi Glenda just surfing through your stitch of the week. I forgot how to do the feather stitch. I want to make a sweater with it. I'm so glad you did all these videos on all the stitches.
This is a very pretty stitch. I like how it creates a puffy sort of piece. I think it would be nice in a winter scarf and hat. Thank you again for the great gift of these tutorials both video and written. I usually need to see it on video to get it, so the two resources are amazing!
I have found that you are the easiest person to follow along on patterns. I am 59 my grandmother taught me to crochet when I was 13. She made it so easy for me but I'm living proof an old dog can be taught new tricks because you have taught me a lot too. Thank you I appreciate you.
A bit complicated, but so worth it! Beautiful stitch and thanks for the careful explanation! This one needed it! I'm going to make an afghan with this stitch with a variegated green yarn!
Thank you so much Glenda! I love this stitch pattern and I love Premier yarns too! You're the best teacher. You go slow enough and make sure we know everything you're doing. Exactly where to place the hook. The video is of great quality too. Thanks again!
I think I finally get this one. I love that you don't have your hands in the way like some of the others do in their tutorials on this one. I'm sure they didn't mean to do it. 😊 This stitch pattern was just a little bit more complicated for me and I needed to see it more clearly. I got it now. It's not as complicated as it seemed. So thank you so much for your tutorial. ✌🏻💙☯️
Excellent tutorial. I tried to follow another Feather Stich tutorial which was a nightmare but it's actually simple watching your instruction. I do regret starting it though. It looks great but slow to work up and very dense too. I've already used 5 skeins and it's only about 15cm high! Expensive stitch but I can't go back now!
Ms Glenda, I would have nrver thought I would have learned and love so many stitches. This is thanks to you. Your calm instructions are wonderful. I love this.
i dont mean to be off topic but does anybody know a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot my password. I would love any assistance you can offer me
@Rocky Junior Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site on google and im in the hacking process now. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Hello Glenda. Love watching your tutorials, don't know why I haven't subscribe sooner. I'm a grandma of 14 and have crocheted something for each sometime in their life, love them all! Thank you for giving me more style to my projects.
I just recently found your channel and I’m enjoying it! You explain very clearly what you are doing as you crochet and it is very much appreciated! ❤️🙏🏻💜
Great tutorial....I've never seen this stitch and it's beautiful and so unique. I began a baby blanket last night in Lion Brand Ice Cream Big Scoop in Mint....this stitch is perfect for this yarn! I can't stop crocheting as this is SO addictive and fun! Thank you Glenda for a stitch that is new to me and SO much fun!
Ty Glenda for your tutorial. I just learned this stitch about a month ago and depending on which yarn and color you use it can be a stunning stitch. I fell in love with it immediately...
Thank you Glenda for providing us beginners a great video to learn from. Love ur talent and thank u for sharing your talent. Lots of hugs from Niagara Falls
@@CPC-Wanda it does take quite a bit of yarn, but the blanket i made was large enough to fit a queen size bed. I think i used 25 or 30 skeins of mandala ombre, color - happy
@@CPC-Wanda not sure that it takes a lot more, maybe a little. It is worth it. The blanket I made was large enough for a queen size bed. It was 300 stitches across and 1 skien of Mandala Ombre- Happy would make 8 to 9 rows.
How many would I chain to do a baby blanket? I love this stitch! Although my brain gets mixed up on some stitches, I’ve got to try this one. Thanks Glenda!
It is hard to determine how many chains, it is determined by the weight of yarn you are using the hooks size, etc, I would make an even number chains until your chain reaches the width you want, around 36 inches wide, then work pattern to about 45 inches long or size desired.
Creative Grandma thanks for your reply. I will do just that. My fav hook size is I. Have no idea why but I most likely will use that with a soft #4. I’m going right now to get it started. Keeping my fingers crossed I can keep my brain honed in on this stitch. (Terminal brain tumor God healed but I still have a few problems but I’m just thrilled to be alive!)
Glenda, this question is from an older video, not necessarily this one. When you say "a repeat of 7 plus 9" why isn't it stated as "a repeat of 7 plus 2"??. I have seen this in several patterns and cannot figure out the difference.
Hi grandma I am sangita from India.👋very nice pattern and very nice color combination. Pink is my favorite color 💗🙏
Beautiful yarn and pattern and the teaching is just wonderful. Than you Glenda. South Africa.

Hi 👋 Do you mind if I place this video in my tutorial playlist for Free Bird's Cape Scarf? Thank you, Jen
Glenda what multiple do you use? I am guessing 2
I love this stitch, do you think it could be used for a baby blanket? (But in a velvet chunky ? ) xx
Sylvia I think it would be way to thick and heavy for a baby blanket using the velvet.
Creative Grandma thank you for getting back to me xx
Mg love this for a blanket ! May I ask what yarn and color way , it’s sooo pretty💕💕💕
It's Premier Yarn Every day Plaid in the colorway Pink / Silver Plaid

You’re working on 14 chains. How can I make is wider
The 42 feather stitch. How would you decrease this pattern. Want to make a bottle cover that looks like a duck
