I love this pattern I'm going to make my granddaughters blankets next year for Christmas. I have 6 of them thanks for the instructions. They were great.
I have been in a wheelchair for four years. Didn’t get to go many places. Enter pandemic. My only social outings were to my doctors, they put me into virtual doctor visits and I have not left my house since February. Talking to a friend on the phone we joked that I should learn to crochet. We both laughed. Two days later, a crochet kit and yarn arrived at my home. My friend bought it for me. I took the challenge and now I crochet. I have done a few projects. Three baby hats for my grandniece two blankets and a potholder. I am currently working on a hand towel. I was wondering if I could get a small sample with this stitch because I just learn better that way. I watch all your videos. Thank you for bringing joy back to my life. I could not have made it through this tough time without your videos. I hope another 52 year old man sees this and gives it a shot. God Bless.
They are made very beautiful and the conben 17:0717:0717:07 of the colours are very nicely put together thanks for sharing this is the first time that l volod you
you are so good i love the stitch of the week gives me something to look foward too thank you i crochet to help with depression from loing my daughter so thank you
The whole secret to success with a stitch lie this one, is in learning to “read” your stitches. I just know that my DC goes in the “hole”., The DC goes into a top stitch. You czz as n see the pattern more easily after the third row.. Lots of people use the Lemon Perl Stitch for dishcloths m, because it’s quick, and has a nice texture. I am going to use it in a Preemie blanket... Although the Suzette is my usual go to for them. Both stitches hsve no holes for tiny fingers snd goes to get tangled in... Thanks, Glenda.. I love your library of grest stitches, and the patient way you teach them to us.
Glenda... I always come to you when I want to learn a new stitch. You are an excellent teacher. This is a lot like the Moss Stitch, or the Seed Stitch. I thunk I’m getting confused. In any case your instructions are always nice and clear... My favorites go right into a fiord in my Notes. Anyway, this is perfect for baby blankets, because there are no holes.
Over the last year I have made probably 13 blankets with this stitch. I got the pattern idea from Jo to the World. I’ve used scraps from red heart and made my granddaughter the cutest pastel scrappy blanket, and I’ve made newborn blankets and toddler size blankets and I like to do a scalloped border in a different color around the solid ones. Anyway, this is a great stitch!
Love this stitch have been looking for a fast and easy stitch for lapghan's this is it Pretty love the last sample have always wondered how the pooling yarn looks it is great thanks
I like the fact that you use three very different yarn colors for your samples. Your explanations are simple and easy to understand instructions.thanks so much for the time and effort that you take into doing the videos.
I have never seen this stich... Great for baby blankets so fingers do not get caught in loops or spaces in other stitches.... This would also make great dish cloth's because it's so close knit
I love your stitch tutorials Glenda. I’ve been crocheting for a very, very long time but always when I need a refresher on a certain stitch I go to your UA-cam channel. You’re a great teacher! ✌️💗🧶
I aim doing a baby blanket in this stitch, currently. I either do a scalloped edge or a ruffle edge to finish. I don't care for fringe on baby blankets.
