- The results of my fabric wheel are in and using Closet Core's Mile End Sweater pattern was such a win! I used the butterfly french terry to sew a fun top for Spring.
I will also be spinning for the last fabric in this current Fabric Wheel series, I do hope you have enjoyed it and join me in a couple of weeks for the results of the last fabric and a round of up the projects.

Carole, that fabric is gorgeous!!! I love the dragonflys. So fun and colorful. I agree with Chris and he had you change the ties. Looks so much more uniform and flatters your figure. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! 💖

Carole, you have inspired me. I have so many fabrics in my stash that I’m sure I had plans for many years ago but now look at them and think “I have no idea what to do with that fabric.” I have devised a version of your wheel of fate and have since made a successful garment from a fabric I am certain I would never have used without being “forced!” Thank you thank you thank you! Carole, I love your Mile End Sweatshirt! I'have that pattern and I've made three or four. The tie at the bottom is what does it for me, too. Like you, I sized down also and lengthened it by an inch or so. Your version will be great for cool spring days.

I just LOVE how happily excited you are with this Wheel of Fate make! 🥰 For some odd reason I was under the impression that your butterfly fabric was a woven cotton. Wasn't until you were wearing your top that I noticed you slightly stretching your fabric. I've never seen such a unique style of top before and had never heard of Closet Core before either. I'll have to go take a look at their patterns. I'm sure you and your family are excited for your big FL trip! My house is now on the market; open house this Saturday. My realtor said that he's already gotten 4 requests to see the house now, before the open house. Uh, no! I've got carpet cleaners here now and a lot to get done tomorrow before the cleaners come on Friday. Because I live on a golf course, it's a huge selling feature because no one lives behind me and it's always green, well maintained, and VERY quiet at night. Fingers crossed for a quick sale above my asking price! 🤞🏻

Your sweatshirt top has come out very well. Perfect Spring wear. Interestingly and without having watched your video ( which I’ve become addicted to) I made a similar top, using a Burda pattern and very springlike heavy jersey. I put on a pink neckline and had to replace it all with a self fabric neckband. Just didn’t look right. Your husband was definitely right! Happy sewing and looking forward to more fabric wheel of fate! ( clever Dad)

Spinning the wheel is such a great theme, loved watching them all. Your top is beautiful and the bright colours look really great on you Carole. Look forward to seeing your next make. Oh thank you so much. It's been fun to do and I've loved leaving my sewing up to fate! I do have a few patterns that would suit the fabric but I'm meant to be using patterns I haven't used before 🤣, what silly rules I made for myself! It would probably work for a magic dress as well. Hi Carole - Love the spin this time 😉 When I saw the fabric, and you said it's interlock, it reminded me of a top I made a couple of years ago. Do you have that Simplicity 8790/Sew House Seven pattern with the knit hoodie and dress? A few people have shown it... anyway, I made the shorter hoodie from an organic cotton interlock, which was just perfect! One of my most-worn makes ❤ Closet Core is one of my favorites, your sweatshirt is lovely and you will enjoy wearing that one!
