Sometimes things don't go as planned, just like my very first Slow Car Shop meet. I attended the Driven Car Show in Vancouver with some friends and held my very first car meet in Richmond, BC. It was amazing to meet you guys and I can't wait to drive out there again. Here is a Storytime recap of the event and what I learned from the experience when it didn't go exactly as expected!

Hi! I'm Lex, a low&slow JDM enthusiast and hobbyist mechanic from British Columbia, Canada. I love Japanese car culture and old, slow hatches. My love for cars started when I bought my 1991 4th Gen Ef Civic, a car that I spent 5 years building Kanjo style with ASR parts, a bodykit including a Chargespeed spoiler, Nardi steering wheel, imported Work Equip 01 wheels, and Skunk2 front suspension. I fell in love with car culture and the freedom I gained when I was able to fix my own cars and help my friends with theirs. After years of owning my Civic, it was recently sideswiped on the highway by a trucker, and I am rebuilding it in my garage. Luckily, the car is saveable and will be driving Slow again soon!
