    What a good, easy way to make those. I couldn't tell if they sealed watertight but a little squirt ofcheap caulking in each end of the tube would give a bit of flotation as well as the ramp effect.

      Thank you. Yeah I've sealed them and not. Haven't seen a difference either way. The plastic seams to be buoyant enough. But sealing it definitely doesn't hurt.

      No I've tried sealing it and not. Had same results either way. Water gets in it but the plastic is buoyant enough to not make a difference.

    Just curious if you have had the sinker slides pull out of the tubing..? Thanks for the great videos!

      No never had that happen. If it does get hung up I lose everything. If I'm lucky I'll come back with the metal clip on the sinker slide.

    And some said i was crazy dragging 6 n 8 oz
    It didnt take us long to realise those lake weights dont work in river current
    When u start realizing ur dragging them up off bottom to high
    At .5 mph
    Cause force / current / float
    Wont hold it down
    Many many many cat guys arent realizing
    Your not on bottom
    Thnx
    Now do a vid
    On showing them on ur boat
    Ur bait isnt down

      I really do appreciate it. Yeah I've ran into that several times of my baits floating up. We had to move heavier but couldn't find people that made them so I had to figure it out.

    Micka, What brand of sinker slides do you use to make your dragging weights? I use the Ez sinker slides, and they are green. The ones you were using looked to be black. Thanks

      They are called Dr. Fish. I found them on Amazon. I get 100 for like 12 bucks or something like that.

    I use cheap liquid hand soap to make the tubing slide into the heat shrink !

    What size heat shrink did you say you were using? I have some 3/8ths but even with oil the air line would not go in. Thank you and I enjoy all your videos.

      Thank you for that. Ok some 3/8 heat shrink are a tad smaller. I ran into that too. But I ordered some off of Amazon and it is just perfect. The brand is called electriduct.

      Yeah I would think so. Seems like it would go further than a regular weight because you could almost whip it out there. But I'm not really sure.

    How much current are you dragging in that you use 8oz. If you don't mind me asking??

      Like 2 to 3 mph current roughly. Probably not exact but close.

      Does it get that fast on the cumberland at times. This my first summer fishing there. Fast as I've see sovl far was about 1.5mph
