Prices on most materials have come up significantly. You're right it's probly closer to a $3-4 dollar build now.
If you have rebar laying around then the weight is free then your more like $1

You could put the screw eye directly into the steel rod and save the cost of the dowel, tubing and contact cement.
The tubing and dowel give a small amount of floatation to the front end of the weight making it easier to drag through grass, rocks, etc.
I wonder if you can use the drill for the eye screw instead of allen wrench? Just Chuck the drill to the eye screw and go full tilt lol
Add some BBs to that and now it will also rattle
Yeah, you could do that if you wanted to. Nice easy addition to it.
Thanks for the tip bud that metal rod is way easier to load than the BB's I've been using.
