Admittedly I'm 4 months after the posting of the video here, but my question is, are LT headers worthwhile on a mild build that isn't going to be making over 1000hp? So think an intake, maybe a throttle body, the headers, and a tune? Maybe a one step smaller upper pulley for moar boost? Or does that alone put me in the 1000hp range? Though I can't really imagine that without upping the boost a lot and maybe porting or replacing the blower. I have a new GT500, and I'm fishing for ideas on what I'd like to do with it.

It will fix a Hennessey. We do that often. We have 2 Hennessey GT350s that they ruined at the shop fixing them. I've never met a happy Hennessy customer
They were a decent shop before they started to only care about themselves and not the entire community. Thats on top of the shadiness that popped up in the last year.
Gotta ask......We know the story behind StangMode's complete destruction of his GT500 engine....was it a freak failure? I know PBD and others are getting great numbers without built engines and no blow ups, what's the deal?
Just my opinion , but i dont think we got the full story . I think it dropped a valve ,you do the math. Now its putting pressure in the cooling system.
@@hoost3056 Last time on the hwy he had a hose start to come off . He blamed it on a clamp but i feel he is may be getting pressure in the cooling system that doesnt belong, pure speculation and maybe we will never know. Its absence speaks volumes. It is always risky for a shop to get with youtubers because of the exposure. Fran at RPM stays out of it for good reason.
Hulk didn't blow until they cracked it open and put in cams. Other 1000 HP stock motors are still running hard. Now, eventually a point will be reached with the stock parts when breakage (WILL) happen but, 1,000 HP is not it.

What would the difference be if the stock car had the OEM cats? Or would that just not even survive blow the cats out or clog the exhaust?
